The Argyle is an elite and exclusive club in Hollywood. The interior combines an old-school glamorous aesthetic with Art Deco furniture and details and disco lights galore to create a hip and fun atmosphere. There’s an extremely strict upscale dress policy – so don’t expect to show up in anything other than your very best. Also, be aware that the doorman will use a lot of his own discretion to decide who’s in and who’s not. If you don’t look the part, you’re not making the cut. Even super-famous celebs have been turned away because they didn’t fit the aesthetic. In addition to themed events and hot DJs, the Argyle is home to a separate cocktail lounge that allows club-goers to get away from the wild atmosphere. Mondays and weekends are the hottest nights for this spot, so show up early if you want a chance at getting in.
If you’re looking for a celebrity hot spot, Bootsy Bellows should definitely be on your list. This extremely exclusive spot in West Hollywood is almost impossible to get into without some kind of connection on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The club was opened in 2012 by actor David Arquette as a tribute to his mother, Brenda Denaut, who was a burlesque dancer and pin-up model in the 1940’s. The layout is reminiscent of Frank Sinatra’s Palm Springs home and the whole place has a very intimate, glamorous vibe. Entertainment options are varied. Some nights, Bootsy Bellows hosts famous DJs, other nights you might catch a creepy puppet show or burlesque dancers. The club’s website puts it best when it calls this establishment “a playground for adults”.

The Tower Bar
The Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel is another historic spot that celebrities frequent. It’s been a longtime staple of the Hollywood community. In fact, the current space that the bar occupies was once Bugsy Siegel’s apartment! The vibe in the tower bar is very vintage, with dark oak paneling and cozy booths. Reservations are typically required for visitors to the Tower Bar and photography is prohibited because of the frequent celebrity presence, but the food is said to be delicious and the drinks are commonly considered to be some of the best. This bar is much more laid back than some of the other clubs and EDM hotspots on this list, but it does host jazz and piano musicians while offering expansive views of LA.
Another hot spot right now is Delilah in West Hollywood. This 1920’s inspired lounge a restaurant owned by the same property company as Bootsy Bellows. This spot is something straight out of the Great Gatsby, with its glamorous decor and vintage feel. Doubling as both a nightclub and a restaurant, Delilah offers up a full menu of soulful American cuisine as well as glitzy dancers and live music. Celebrity sightings are frequent during both restaurant and club hours, so a visit here could easily pay off for those excited about seeing the stars.
The Chateau Marmont is another classic spot for a celebrity sighting. The swanky hotel plays host to a wide range of celebrities on a regular basis. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Sting has come through the doors, and most frequent the spot. This dimly lit lounge offers a full menu and an extensive wine list.
