Cheval Blanc Randheli Maldives
6
We begin the list with a heavy hitter; behold the visually striking Cheval Blanc Randheli Maldives. One of the Maldives’ most expensive hotels, the resort comes from the owners of brands like Louis Vuitton and Dior, LMVH. So, imagine our delight when this hotel is available with discounts of as much as 15% on all its rooms, including the elusive and much sought-after water villas!
A 40-minute seaplane ride from the Maldivian capital, Malé, brings you to Noonu Atoll, where the staff stands on the jetty to greet you. Four bars, five restaurants, and personalized catering to your villa make the dining experience here superior to anywhere we’d ever seen. Soak away your worries at the swimming pools or at the Guerlain Spa, but don’t miss out on the water experiences at the five-star PADI Dive Center. Think scuba diving, snorkeling, and even thrilling excursions to the UNESCO-protected Hanifaru Bay. Plus, there’s an array of on-water activities, including kitesurfing, jetskiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and hoverboarding. Tennis and padel courts, a massive kids’ club, dedicated butlers, buggies for transport, a boutique and concept store — this place has ’em all.
46 villas across various categories are all massive and decked out minimalistically with tasteful splashes of objets d’art and pops of color. Wraparound windows, an open-plan layout, outdoor showers, a private pool and loungers, dining pergolas — divine doesn’t begin to cover them. While some villas lie steps from the white-sand beach, others lie right over the water.

Capella Bangkok, Thailand
5
Capella Bangkok is new-world opulence on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the heart of Thailand’s busy-as-a-bee capital, Bangkok. This splendid urban boutique hotel blends Thai timelessness with modernity, with most accommodations boasting river views, and the best of the best — private villas perched right on the water’s edge. So, if and when Trip.com is offering a fantastic deal of 13-14% off on Riverfront rooms, you take it!
Your first impressions are lasting; the breathtaking lounge-cum-Tea Lounge with Asian antiques and marble floors makes an immediate impression. Moreover, it transitions to the “Living Room,” which is only accessible to guests via their electronic key cards, subtly laying on an air of exclusivity. The Living Room is where the check-in formalities take place, complete with beverages and views of the Chao Phraya River. Plus, every guest is assigned a Capella Culturalist, a.k.a. their personal concierge, who has insider access to Bangkok’s best experiences. Finally, a picture-perfect riverfront outdoor pool with loungers, a spa, a river-facing restaurant, a private pier, and a house car set the tone for the rest of your stay.
We were most impressed by the 101 rooms, which include rooms, 16 suites and 7 villas with private balconies and jacuzzi plunge pools. Even our Premier Riverside Room was amazing, complete with minibars with free snacks, Nespresso coffee machines, plush window-facing beds, Bluetooth speakers, and bespoke Bottega Etoile de Siam bath products. Sigh.

Royal Mansour Marrakech
4
The genuinely exquisite Royal Mansour Marrakech is a private palatial resort that’s the brainchild of the current king of Morocco, King Mohammed VI. This hotel is the epitome of everything Morocco, right from the manicured and walled gardens to the sumptuous stucco work throughout. With a bunch of member deals and anywhere between USD 50-150 off on different kinds of rooms on Trip.com, this hotel is definitely worth looking into.
The 53 digs here are anything but traditional hotel rooms — every last one of them is designed as its own riad. Even entry-level ones are massive and come with sun decks and plunge pools overlooking the city. Moreover, they all come with fountains, private entry courtyards, and 24/7 personal butlers. However, the most interesting bit here is the network of hidden elevators and tunnels throughout the property. So, one minute you see the staff, and the next minute you don’t.
Given all this, it’s no surprise that such an opulent property will have equally opulent amenities, such as the Le Jardin landscaped gardens and the mesmerizing outdoor pools. Looking at them, it’s hard to imagine that you’re in the Sahara Desert and that the Marrakech main markets are a stone’s throw away. Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno runs all seven F&B outposts, but the pinnacle is the exclusive excursion to late master perfumer Serge Lutens’ home nearby. Not only is it not open to the public, but it also doesn’t allow photos, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

One&Only Mandarina, Mexico
3
One hour north of Puerto Vallarta in Mexico sits the One&Only Mandarina which, true to its name, is one of its kind of a resort in the region. This high-end beachfront hotel boasts just over 100 freestanding treehouses and villas spread across 80 acres of dense jungle canopy. Currently, Trip.com is offering up to 11% off deals across all of its stays, even the Panoramic Ocean Cliff Villa! Our advice? You need to snap it up quickly!

The first impression is impressive: the staff welcomes you into the main pavilion by ringing a huge gong and the classic One&Only greeting — hands over their hearts. The amenities are exclusive and well-planned out, and it shows. Four restaurants, including a traditional Mexican one and a beach club, take care of all your drinking and dining needs, no matter the house. The rainforest meets the ocean at six swimming pools, including a fabulous infinity pool, and a private white sand beach. While kids enjoy themselves at their dedicated Kids’ club, adults can enjoy a long list of activities ranging from horse riding and guided rainforest biking lessons to spa sessions in the secluded and serene spa.
Choose from a host of Treehouses, Cliff Villas, and Grand Villas, all of which boast plunge pools. Outfitted by pieces from Mexican designers, they all boast a blend of Mexican furnishings and current-day mod-cons for the ultimate in luxury and comfort.

Le Bristol Paris, an Oetker Collection Hotel, France
2
There are three hotels from Paris in the top 10 hotels on Trip.com’s list, and it’s evident why. In the third spot on the list is Le Bristol Paris, an Oetker Collection Hotel, which is known for its fabulous Parisian breakfasts. With Trip.com offering 10% off for members on all kinds of rooms and suites, staying at this hotel certainly makes for a luxury-on-a-lesser-budget experience!
One of the most romantic hotels in Paris, Le Bristol is a Faubourg Saint-Honoré stalwart and a true icon for more reasons than one. It’s had a long roster of eminent guests, including the likes of Rita Hayworth to Charlie Chaplin, since it opened in 1925. Even during World War II, it was the home of many American expats and the American Embassy. Most recently, it stayed open all six years of a slick top-to-toe renovation. No wonder it has a dedicated US clientele, who also love its long list of amenities: excellent room service, two Michelin-star restaurants, a fabulous outdoor pool, and a pampering spa.
Even the 190 digs are no less impressive, spread out between two buildings. Spacious and airy, they boast views of either the flower-filled, lush courtyard or the grand avenue. Moreover, the style is sedate-meets-designer, with plush fabrics, antique mirrors, original paintings, marble bathrooms, and a boatload of mod-cons.

Raffles Singapore
1
Sitting at the top of our list, and occupying the second spot on Trip.com’s list, is Raffles Singapore, one of the most expensive hotels in Singapore. This deserving Grande Dame is a heady blend of sophistication, heritage, and luxury, and it shows. With Trip.com offering a special discount for even a Double Suite in just the following month, we feel that this is a great deal on a luxury hotel.
The hotel radiates historic glamour from every nook and cranny. Even arriving at the wide, circular driveway makes you feel like Hollywood royalty. Doormen open the double doors, leading you into a jaw-dropping, chandelier-filled, and marble-floored lobby. This is where personalized check-in takes place at discrete tables, after which you can check out the plethora of amenities. Besides its famed Afternoon Tea service, the hotel has five restaurants and bars, including a gorgeous alfresco one, and a fantastic rooftop pool, given the Singaporean heat. Meanwhile, Raffles Arcade and Raffles Spa wind up the amenities for the discerning traveler.
Choose from just 115 individually decked-out suites at this all-suites hotel, with the 12 “Personality Suites” that pay homage to renowned Raffles guests being rather special.
