St. James’s Club Resort

We loved St. James’s Club Resort! It sits between the Caribbean Sea and Mamora Bay, so we have two beaches to choose from. One is calm and great for paddleboarding, and the other is livelier with gentle waves. If you’re a beachgoer, you’ll definitely have a blast at this resort.
There’s no shortage of things to do here. We spent our days trying out water sports like kayaking and snorkeling, then switched it up with tennis. There are four tennis courts on the property, and they were well-maintained. When we wanted downtime, we had six pools to pick from or could just crash on a beach lounger. Aside from that, the fitness center was surprisingly modern, and the spa treatments were a great way to recharge after an active morning.
Food-wise, Rainbow Garden became our go-to spot for breakfast. It was spacious and relaxed, and we loved hanging out on the patio to start the day. Moreover, the Docksider served up some solid Caribbean dishes with unbeatable ocean views, especially at sunset. Both beach bars pour a mean rum punch that became our favorite part of our days.

Whether you’re into relaxation or activities, Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort won’t disappoint. Staying here, you’ll get the best of both worlds: the ocean on one side, the jungle on the other. The property is big but easy to get around, and even though it’s only about a 40-minute drive from San Juan, it feels like a real getaway.
This massive resort has 13 courts, including a couple of Har-Tru clay ones that are kept in great shape. We called ahead since we were looking for matches, and the staff went above and beyond. The courts were well maintained, the pro shop had everything we needed, and the fees were fair. And if you want, you can also join the yoga class as a warm-up before heading to the court.
In addition to that, there are two golf courses, a spa, several pools, and a bunch of restaurants to choose from, including casual beach spots and sit-down options. It’s the kind of place where you can play hard in the morning and completely relax in the afternoon.

Who doesn’t love The Ritz? It’s the standard of luxury hotels for many travelers. And after staying at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, we would say it’s among the finest properties in the hotel’s portfolio. We booked the One-Bedroom Suite, and it was bright and super comfortable, with a balcony that gave us a perfect view of the ocean.
The Ritz-Carlton has everything you need in one place, including the Tennis & Pickleball Center. The red clay courts were immaculate, and the coaching was serious. The little services also made it feel next-level, like being driven to the courts by golf cart and having someone pick up balls during lessons.
Beyond tennis, the resort is packed with options: the Blue Tip Golf Course designed by Greg Norman, the La Prairie Spa, and amazing dining by Eric Ripert. Families will love the Ambassadors of the Environment program. Our kids came back from their activities talking non-stop about sea turtles and mangroves.

Best for Juniors. You can’t go wrong by staying at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis. Everything about the property feels well thought out, from the open-air restaurants to the quiet stretches of beach that never seem busy. It’s the kind of place where you can easily balance downtime with a bit of activity, which is exactly what we were after.
Of course, we didn’t just lounge by the pool the entire time, as the tennis programs were too good to pass up. The resort had beautiful courts, great facilities, and professional coaches. We joined a few group clinics to work on doubles strategy and then booked private lessons with Eric Thorel, who’s as professional as he is approachable. They also have a Junior Tennis Development, which is great for beginners.
The resort also offers something called “Extreme Tennis,” which mixes things up with drills in unexpected spots, like the beach or even the shallows of the Caribbean Sea. It’s a fun way to test your balance and keep things lighthearted. And when we weren’t on the court, we were probably spoiling ourselves at the spa or sipping a glass of wine on the patio.

Couples Swept Away

Best Adults-Only. Searching for adults-only, all-inclusive tennis resorts in the Caribbean? Take a look at Couples Swept Away in Negril! It sits right on Seven Mile Beach, so we had easy access to soft sand and calm, clear water every day. Our stay was super effortless. There was no rushing around, no stress, just great food and vibe, best enjoyed with your significant other.
On the property, there are 10 tennis courts, which are a mix of clay and hard, plus four pickleball courts, all in great condition. The sports complex is huge, with everything from a fitness center and lap pool to racquetball, squash, and basketball. We joined a couple of the complimentary clinics run by their pros, which were fun but still helpful for improving our game. Afterward, we always stopped by the smoothie bar. It’s a must-try!
After hitting the clinic in the morning, we would grab lunch by the beach and still have time to unwind before dinner and live music. The service at the sports complex was especially great. The staff genuinely cared that we were having a good time. If you’re a couple looking for a mix of tennis, beach time, and great food, this place makes it easy to do it all.

Nothing screams luxury quite like Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. This 5-star resort has a little bit of everything, including great food, a lively casino, and plenty of exciting activities without ever leaving the property. On top of that, it’s right on the beach, which makes for some pretty great views, but what really made the trip stand out for us was the tennis.
The Baha Mar Racquet Club is seriously impressive. There are nine courts in total (six hard courts and three Har-Tru clay), so you can mix it up depending on how you like to play. We joined the doubles boot camp, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The sessions were high-energy, super organized, and led by pros who know how to make you work and have fun at the same time. Exhausted? Definitely, but we also had a lot of fun.
When we weren’t on the courts, we relaxed by the pool, grabbed drinks, and tried out a few of the restaurants. Spoiler: Everything we had was excellent. Our King Room came with a balcony, and it was comfortable. Moreover, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. All in all, Baha Mar really checks all the boxes.

We have a feeling you’ll love Rosewood Little Dix Bay just as much as we do. The resort sits on 500 acres of stunning coastline. It boasts 80 rooms spread out along a quiet, half-mile beach. Originally created by Laurence Rockefeller, it still has that eco-friendly, relaxed vibe even after its big renovation. Our cottage was stylish and comfortable, and we loved how everything, from the gardens to the beach, was designed to make us relax.
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: the tennis program. We’d heard about it beforehand, but it was even better in person. There are six beautiful courts, and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. We booked a private lesson with Leon, the resident pro, and he was fantastic. You can take lessons, join clinics, or just hit casually with other guests. Once you come home, you’ll certainly feel like a better tennis player!
Beyond the tennis, Little Dix Bay also offers top-notch service. Our butler seemed to handle everything before we even had to ask. Whether you’re there for the tennis, the beach, or just to disconnect for a bit, you’re guaranteed to want to come back again.

Best Tournament-Grade Facilities. Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana completely lived up to our expectations. The place is huge, with 7,000 acres of beaches, golf courses, tennis courts, and tropical scenery. We originally picked it for the tennis, but quickly realized it’s one of those resorts where you could easily stay busy for days.
Speaking of which, the tennis facility is top-notch. The La Terraza Tennis Center has 13 courts, mostly Har-Tru clay, plus a few hard courts, all surrounded by palm trees and great views. We usually just hit together, but it was easy to find lessons, group clinics, and even other players for matches. The staff and pros were super friendly, and you could tell they really know their stuff. They were prepping for a tournament the weekend we left, so it was fun to see the energy pick up around the courts.
When we weren’t playing, we explored a bit of everything, like relaxing at the beach, cruising around in our golf cart, and grabbing dinner by the marina. The resort has golf, horseback riding, a spa, and even a replica 16th-century village, so there’s plenty to do beyond tennis.

After staying at Half Moon, we were left impressed. The resort in Jamaica covers 400 acres, with a long stretch of private white sand beach that’s perfect for morning walks or just zoning out with a drink. We also liked that Montego Bay’s shops and nightlife were only about a 15-minute walk away. It made it simple to pop out for dinner or music without needing a taxi.
As big tennis fans, we couldn’t skip checking out the resort’s courts. They have nine tennis courts and eight pickleball ones, all in great condition and lit for night play. The coaching staff really stood out, too. They’re internationally certified and genuinely invested in helping guests improve. We joined a small clinic one time and came away with solid tips and a good workout (along with a few laughs with the group).
What we liked most was the balance between structure and fun. You can take lessons, jump into a casual match, or just hit for a while without pressure. Best Free Clinics. We have nothing but fantastic things to say about The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort. The resort has been family-owned for generations, and we could easily tell. The service was personal throughout our stay, and the property has this established vibe. It’s set on a gorgeous stretch of coastline, but what really stood out to us was how much there was to do without ever feeling crowded.
The tennis setup here is seriously impressive. There are eight courts, including two with lights for evening matches, and all of them are in great shape. We joined a few of the complimentary clinics and worked with one of the pros, who was an excellent coach. Whether you’re brand new or already competitive, the program makes it easy to get involved.

We booked the “Stay & Play Tennis” package, which came with unlimited court time and expert coaching. Thanks to the private lessons, round-robins, and friendly doubles, we played until sunset almost every day. They’ve even hosted clinics with stars like Bianca Andreescu, which gives the place some serious tennis cred. A tip from us: try to book lessons early and try a night match, as the lit courts and sea breeze make for an unforgettable game.
