Manto Hotel Lima is located in a quiet, residential area that felt super safe, which was a nice change of pace after spending our days running around the city. Even though it’s peaceful, we were only a short walk from a bunch of great restaurants, cute cafes, and boutiques. Plus, having a grocery store just a block away was incredibly convenient.
The actual stay was just as amazing. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and we could tell they stay on top of maintenance throughout the property. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Whether it was a quick “good morning” or helping us figure out more complicated logistics, everyone we dealt with was kind and professional.
We also really appreciated the breakfast setup. Instead of a standard, boring buffet, El Manto has a bespoke menu where you can just order what you want, and they’ll make it for you. They seem to update the menu pretty often, too, so we were able to try a few different things during our stay.

The Miraflores Park exceeded our expectations in every way possible. One of the most gay-friendly hotels in Lima, this stunning hotel is located in a great, modern part of the Miraflores neighborhood that felt calm and comfortable throughout our stay. One small detail we loved was the fresh scent of flowers that hit us the second we walked through the entrance.
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious, spotless, and had a fantastic view of the ocean. We spent a lot of our downtime just hanging out on the couch, watching the waves and the people jogging in the park across the street. The room came stocked with everything we needed, and they even left us some really thoughtful, tasty treats.
The staff across every department, from the front desk and bellboys to housekeeping and the waiters, were incredibly professional, too. Breakfast was another highlight. It was a very chic setup with a huge variety of options. Everything about the stay was pretty much flawless.

Casa Bella Boutique Hotel San Isidro

The beauty of boutique hotels is that they offer experiences that you probably can’t find from the typical standard big-chain hotels. Located in the quiet, upscale San Isidro neighborhood, Casa Bella Boutique Hotel San Isidro has a really welcoming vibe. It’s actually a converted 1930s mansion, so it feels much more like staying in a private home.
There are only 17 rooms in the building, and they all have their own look. Ours did a nice job of mixing traditional Peruvian touches with modern comforts, so we didn’t feel like we were sacrificing convenience for style. We especially liked that some of the rooms come with private balconies. Ours looked right out over the garden and terrace, making it a solid spot to hang out and decompress.
The location worked out perfectly for us, too. We were only a short walk from the Lima Golf Club and a quick 10-minute drive from the beach, so we had both the city and the coast. Getting to the historic Cathedral of Lima was easy as well, since it’s only about 5.5 miles (8.85 km) away. They also have on-site parking and handled our airport transfers.

Casa Republica Barranco Boutique Hotel is probably the best example of the perfect mix between a modern boutique hotel and a classic Peruvian home. The design is clean and contemporary, but they kept enough vintage touches to give the place some actual character.
The location is a huge win for exploring the neighborhood. It’s set on a quiet street, so we got a break from the Lima noise, but we were also still within walking distance of all the best local restaurants and shops. That said, the hotel itself has some solid spots to hang out. We loved spending our time at the rooftop bar, which has a really nice selection of cocktails and appetizers. For breakfast, nothing could beat coffee and bread in the garden.
Meanwhile, our room was super comfortable and kept spotless with daily housekeeping. One thing we really appreciated was the shower. The water pressure was excellent and stayed hot, which isn’t always a guarantee. If you’re planning a trip, we highly suggest booking the King Room with the garden view as we did.

Best Value for Money. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel that won’t wreck your budget, consider Lima 18. Usually, staying in Miraflores costs a fortune, but this 12-room boutique hotel is actually affordable. It’s small and low-key, which was a nice change of pace from the big hotels nearby. We loved being right in the middle of everything without having to pay the typical neighborhood markup.
The place itself is a mix of old and new. Some of the original features, like the dark wood floors and textured walls, were kept, but the furniture is modern and sleek. It was effortlessly stylish and comfortable, using mostly earthy tones that made our room feel pretty cozy. And our private balcony? Perfect!
That’s not all! We also enjoyed Lima’s intimate inner courtyard and garden, which made the hotel even more charming than it already is. That was our go-to spot for breakfast. Not to mention, the staff really paid attention to the details, which made our stay feel a lot more personal than we expected for the price.

Want to transport yourself back in time? Spend a night or two at Hotel Antigua Miraflores, a 23-room boutique hotel housed in a Spanish-colonial mansion from 1923. The building itself is beautifully preserved, featuring original tiled floors, massive chandeliers, and some really impressive woodwork that gives the whole place an authentic Peruvian feel.
We booked the Colonial Room, and it was awesome. It came with hand-crafted furniture and a quality queen-sized bed that let us get some decent sleep. If you’re looking for more space, the hotel has suites that come with kitchenettes and spa baths, which are great for a longer stay. We also appreciated the personalized service here. The staff clearly puts a lot of effort into the small details and makes sure the modern amenities work well within such a historic setting.
The best part for us was definitely the location. It’s located right in the middle of the Miraflores district, which made getting around Lima incredibly easy for us. We were within walking distance of pretty much everything we wanted to see, including the Huaca Pucllana ruins and the oceanfront boardwalk near Larcomar. We also spent some time at El Parque del Amor and Parque Kennedy, which are both super close by.

Atemporal by Andean

Best for Couples. To say we were in love with Atemporal by Andean is an understatement. In fact, we think it’s one of the coolest places in Miraflores. It’s a restored 1940s mansion with only six rooms, making it an extremely intimate and private property, especially compared to other regular hotels. Being in such a busy part of Lima, it was great to have a quiet hotel that didn’t feel crowded.
The service was a huge standout for us. The staff greeted us with a welcome drink the second we walked in, and they went out of their way to make sure we were always comfortable. It has this very laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that makes it clear why people rank it as one of the best boutique hotels in Lima. We felt completely at ease the entire time.
The perks here are actually useful, too. We had a great breakfast in the Terraced Garden Lounge every morning, the sweetest spot at the hotel. Couples will definitely love it! Having 24/7 access to the kitchen for snacks and sodas was a massive plus, too. The hotel nailed the small details that make a stay easy and stress-free. If you’re looking for an intimate spot in Lima that feels personal and well-run, this is definitely it.

Best Pool. For those who want to have a lavish trip, consider the Country Club Lima Hotel. Set in the upscale San Isidro neighborhood, it was originally built in 1927 and given a major renovation in 2017. Now, it proudly showcases its historic roots while still featuring modern five-star luxury. Being part of The Leading Hotels of the World collection, it has that high-end feel that makes it stand out from your average city stay.
We usually prefer smaller boutique hotels, and this property is definitely on the larger side compared to our usual picks. However, if you’re looking for a luxury spot in Lima that actually has a pool, you’ll know how hard those are to find. For us, having that outdoor space made the stay worth it. Make sure to bring your swimsuit!
One of our favorite things about the property was how it showcases Peruvian heritage without feeling like a museum, even though it’s filled with original art from the Pedro de Osma Museum. We also managed to spend an evening at the famous English Bar, which is a local legend for a reason. The pisco sours there are top-tier! We also grabbed a meal at Perroquet Restaurant, and the award-winning food definitely lived up to the reputation.

Stay at Quinta Miraflores Boutique Hotel and thank us later! This is one of the most charming boutique hotels in Lima. It served as the perfect base to get acclimated when we first arrived in Lima and a super comfortable spot to wind down before we headed home.
The location is a major plus since it’s right in the mix of Miraflores, Barranco, and San Isidro. We had no trouble getting to the main sights or finding great spots for shopping and dinner. Our host, Erika, was amazing, too. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and gave us some really great local tips, like the top things to do in Lima.
As for the suite, we loved the mix of antique style and modern comfort. The bed was a highlight, though. It had a memory foam mattress, high-end Peruvian cotton sheets, and a down duvet that made it hard to wake up. Meanwhile, the green and white linen decor gave the room a very warm, classic feel, and the bathroom even featured a Louis XV-style tub.

Most Peaceful. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate escape that’s still just steps away from the best parts of the neighborhood, Villa Barranco is the place to be. We loved that it’s hidden away on a peaceful side street, giving us a break from the noise. The hotel is actually set in a pair of restored mansions from 1916. We were actually stunned by the work local artisans put into the place. Everything from the mosaics to the French-style terracotta tiles and balconies felt authentic to its history.
As one of the top boutique hotels in the city, Villa Barranco makes sure all rooms are arranged around a lush central garden, making the whole property feel like a private sanctuary. We also found the service to be incredibly attentive, perfectly blending that vintage charm with a contemporary feel.
The highlight, though, was our King Suite, which was humongous. We had a ton of space, including a large wardrobe and our own private terrace. The biggest surprise, however, was the bathroom. It was sparkling clean and featured a great bathtub in the middle with skylights that let in a ton of natural light. It made the bathroom feel even more open and bright.

Best Luxury. When it comes to luxury, Hotel B nails it flawlessly. This boutique hotel feels like a massive, high-end art gallery. It’s set in a restored 20th-century mansion with only 20 rooms, so it’s super intimate and exclusive. The design is a cool mix of historic architecture and modern art, with local works hanging everywhere you look. Even our suite was as pretty, with a charming private balcony for morning tea sessions.
Furthermore, there’s a restaurant in the inner courtyard, but we spent most of our time at the rooftop bar, which is arguably the best spot in the house for sunset drinks. If you’re into cocktails, you have to try the Zombie Amazónico for a spicy, citrus kick, or their signature Capitán del B, which uses the hotel’s own pisco. They’ve also got a lobby bar and a little boutique on-site that sells cool, locally-made stuff.
