Peachtree Suites Jersey City

Best Aparthotel. The Peachtree Suites Jersey City is all about convenience. Being just steps from Journal Square, we could hop on the train in no time, and there were little shops around for snacks and coffee runs. We even managed to drive out to Bayonne, and it only took about 25 minutes, perfect for a quick escape.
This is an apart-hotel, and we loved our Standard Studio. Though it wasn’t fancy, it had exactly what we were looking for. We cooked a couple of meals thanks to the oven and toaster, and having a dishwasher was nice, too. The Wi-Fi kept up with our streaming, and the bed was actually more comfortable than we expected. Best of all, the soundproofing made it feel like our own quiet bubble.
Peachtree had some perks that made life easier, too. The little cafe downstairs was great for when we needed some coffee, and private check-in and check-out felt effortless. We were grateful for the elevator with our luggage, and the 24-hour front desk and security added peace of mind.

Canopy By Hilton Jersey City Arts District

Best Luxury. Want a taste of luxury near Bayonne? Spend your nights at Canopy By Hilton Jersey City Arts District. Just a two-minute walk from Grove Street Station, it made zipping into Manhattan a breeze. However, we loved staying local too, especially with Liberty State Park only a mile away.
Our suite had everything we wanted. We made good use of the Nespresso machine in the mornings, and the mini fridge was handy for keeping drinks cold. Families would appreciate that some rooms can fit up to four, but since it was just us, we leaned into the more spacious suite with its separate living area.
The extras made a world of difference to our stay. The hotel offers complimentary bikes, which we took out for a ride along the waterfront, and the 24-hour gym was a solid perk for early workouts. Dining was another highlight. The family-friendly restaurant had something for everyone, with kosher, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options all covered.

Best Airport Hotel. If you want to stay near the airport, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Newark International Airport is the perfect choice. After landing late at night, the free 24-hour shuttle picked us up within minutes. Being less than 10 minutes from the airport and only about 11 miles (17.70 km) from NYC made the location super convenient. Want to take a peek at Bayonne? It’s just a 15-minute drive away!
During our stay, we started our mornings with their hot breakfast, and later squeezed in a swim at the indoor pool. The whirlpool was the real winner, though. It melted away all that travel tension. On top of that, the hotel also boasts a 24-hour market downstairs.
This is an all-suite hotel, and ours was ultra spacious. We loved doing nothing in the living area and taking a nap on the sofa. We also had a kitchen, so we could make quick snacks whenever we wanted to. The bathroom was sparkling clean, and the bed was one of the coziest. You won’t regret staying here.

NYC HomeBnB

Best for Solo Travelers. We stayed at NYC HomeBnB in Jersey City for a weekend getaway, and it was just what we needed. The area itself isn’t exactly buzzing with nightlife or cafes, but after exploring New York the entire day, the quiet was actually a blessing. It only took us about 13 minutes to drive over to Bayonne, and we could get into the city pretty quickly, too.
We booked the Double Room, and it was better than the pictures we saw online. The bathroom was shared with a few other rooms, which we thought might be tricky, but it was spotless and almost always available when we needed it. In addition to that, there are dormitories, too!
What made the stay even better was the people running the place. The receptionists were so kind and helpful, answering all our questions with a smile. And we got super lucky with the one free parking spot right out front. We parked the car and didn’t have to touch it again all weekend.

Best Budget. Set on Route 440, the Hudson Plaza Motel Bayonne Jersey City is the perfect choice for those searching for a wallet-friendly hotel in Bayonne New Jersey. The location was super convenient for us, as we were only about 10 minutes from Liberty State Park. And when hunger struck, we didn’t have to think twice, as Vincent’s Pizza was just a couple of minutes away.

Despite being a budget hotel, the service was great. The front desk was open around the clock. Though we arrived late, the staff still greeted us without a hitch. We also appreciated the little touches like laundry facilities and vending machines. Free parking was a huge bonus, too. We could just leave our car and not worry about it.
We booked the Standard Double Room, which was simple but cozy. The Wi-Fi worked smoothly, the flat-screen TV gave us some background noise while we unwound, and our bathroom was spotless. You can request a fridge or microwave, too, if needed.

Best Location. When we booked the Classical Isbills Row House, we were looking for something close to NYC but not right in the middle of all the chaos. As one of the best hotels in Bayonne NJ, this place turned out to be the perfect solution. Just a couple of blocks from the light rail, it was ridiculously easy to get into the city. We could also walk to local shops and restaurants without breaking a sweat. Better yet, after spending a night here, we realized that the street was so calm and quiet.
Our apartment had that charming, historic feel without sacrificing modern comfort. We loved having our own private entrance, but the highlight was the fireplace. It made the whole space much cozier. The layout was also great: a separate bedroom, a living room to lounge, and a bathroom with both a tub and a shower. And with three beds in total, the apartment can easily handle our group of five.
Of course, no apartment is complete without a kitchen. Fully stocked with everything from a stove to a tea and coffee maker, it made staying in just as tempting as going out. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the kitchen and eating by the window with garden views. The perfect way to kick off the day!
“Not only is the location perfect for exploring Bayonne, but the rooms are cozy and spot-on too.”

Where to Stay in Bayonne, New Jersey
If you want to be in the center of activity, downtown Bayonne is the place to be. Broadway and the surrounding streets are lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it easy to grab a bite or explore on foot. It’s also one of the most convenient areas for public transit, whether you’re heading into New York City or connecting to the airport.
At the southern end of Bayonne, neighborhoods like Bergen Point and Constable Hook offer a slower pace and scenic views along the waterfront. This part of the city has a more laid-back feel, with parks, paths, and plenty of open space. They’re perfect if you’d rather relax by the water than be in the middle of the bustle.
For travelers who prefer something quieter but still want easy access to shops and transit, the uptown stretch between 30th and 45th Streets strikes a nice balance. It’s mainly residential, so the vibe is calmer than downtown, but you’re never far from Broadway’s dining and shopping options. Parking also tends to be easier here compared to the busier parts of the city.
