It’s only fitting to start our list with the Hyatt Place Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods. Just a short drive from the Garden of the Gods (thus, the name), we found ourselves enveloped in the understated elegance of the hotel. The rooms on the property are all equipped with all the necessities like free Wi-Fi, minifridges, and 42-inch flat-screen TVs. We booked the King Room, and waking up to the breathtaking view of Pike’s Peak was truly the cherry on top.

The complimentary offerings, including parking, shuttle service, and a scrumptious hot breakfast buffet, added significant value to our stay. We loved spending sunny afternoons by the seasonal outdoor pool and keeping up with our fitness routine at the 24/7 fitness center. All in all, our experience was nothing short of splendid, and we’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Colorado Springs.

Kinship Landing

If you want to stay downtown, consider the Kinship Landing. This boutique hotel is awesome. First, let’s talk about the location. One of the biggest reasons we included this hotel is because of its strategic location. It’s just a short distance from Interstate 25 and The Broadmoor Seven Falls Park. If you’re looking for a bit of adventure, Pikes Peak is a scenic 29-mile drive away.

Aside from that, the hotel’s vibe is super chill and laid-back. We stayed in the Junior Suite with absolutely breathtaking mountain views. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we could ever ask for. If you’re on a budget, they also offer shared dorms and camping rooms. That said, one of our favorite things about Kinship Landing was the communal atmosphere. The cafe is a great spot to relax and meet other travelers. We also loved the sunroom and the terraces, especially on sunny days. Finally, the communal kitchen was really handy for those nights when we didn’t feel like going out.

Colorado Springs Marriott

Up next is the Colorado Springs Marriott, one of the most popular luxury hotels in Colorado Springs. The hotel’s location allowed us to enjoy stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, and it was conveniently situated near popular attractions like the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame museum. The amenities? Top-notch! We enjoyed taking a dip in the indoor pool (there’s an outdoor pool, too), working out in the gym, and meeting new people around the patio fire pits. And when we were in the mood for a drink, we would head to the bar.

While there are so many accommodation options, we ended up with the King Room with mountain views. It was big, clean, and came with all the amenities we needed and more. There was even Netflix so we could continue to binge-watch our favorite series. The best part? We could enjoy the gorgeous views of the mountain anytime we wanted.

Chateau du Pikes Peak

Built in 2015 by the renowned Tuscany Homes, Chateau du Pikes Peak is a Tuscan-style retreat that exudes an old-world charm that’s hard to match. When we stepped inside, we were instantly transported to a serene oasis. The common areas, with the cozy reading nooks and fireside charm, were our favorite spots to relax after exploring the Front Range. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace patio, where we could unwind with a glass of wine and admire the stunning views.

Our stay was made even better thanks to our suite. Waking up to the sunrise over Pikes Peak from the comfort of our bed was truly unforgettable. That’s not all! One of our favorite features was the private projection theater. Talk about ending the day on a high note! The neighborhood itself was lovely, located in the upscale development of Flying Horse. It was safe and quiet, yet still close to all the amenities we needed.

The Lodge at Flying Horse

Best Golf Courses. As a AAA Four Diamond Hotel, The Lodge at Flying Horse lived up to its reputation as a luxury resort in Colorado Springs CO. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to play on one of their two championship golf courses. The meticulously maintained greens and stunning mountain views provided a truly unforgettable golfing experience. For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, The Spa at Flying Horse is a must-visit. We indulged in the Flying Horse Signature Massage, and it was pure bliss. Alyssa, our therapist, was incredibly skilled and attentive. After our treatment, we felt completely refreshed and rejuvenated.

The dining options at Flying Horse were also exceptional. With seven unique restaurants to choose from, there was something to satisfy every palate. We particularly enjoyed the award-winning The Steakhouse, where we had a delicious and perfectly cooked steak. Our accommodation was equally impressive. We stayed in a suite with a spa bath, which was spacious and comfortable and offered stunning mountain views. The spa bath and fireplace were the perfect additions for a cozy evening.

Cliff House at Pikes Peak

What we have here is the Cliff House at Pikes Peak, a charming hotel nestled in the foothills of Manitou Springs. While technically outside of Colorado Springs, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive away, offering a peaceful escape from the city. This place immediately captivated us with its elegant blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. The hotel’s beautifully appointed rooms are decorated in a late 19th-century style, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed our room’s gas fireplace and spa tub, allowing us to relax.

One of the highlights of our stay was the culinary experience at The Cliff House Dining Room. The restaurant has rightfully earned its reputation as one of Colorado’s premier dining destinations. The menu features a delightful fusion of classic and contemporary dishes, showcasing the freshest local ingredients. We were really impressed by the quality of the seafood and the creative presentation of each plate.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort

With the majestic Rocky Mountain as the backdrop, the Cheyenne Mountain Resort is the place to be for a magical experience. Aside from the views, the resort’s sprawling grounds also offered us tons of space to explore. We enjoyed playing golf on the Pete Dye-designed course, exploring the hiking trails, and swimming in the lake. The resort’s fitness center was well-equipped, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

One of the highlights of our stay was the Alluvia Spa and Wellness Retreat. The treatments were relaxing and rejuvenating, and the ambiance was peaceful and serene. Our Deluxe Double Queen Room was comfortable and spacious, with a private balcony overlooking the golf course. The mountain-inspired decor added a touch of local charm, and the amenities were flawless.

The Antlers

Best Affordable Luxury. The central location and excellent amenities at The Antlers blew our minds away. The hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown, offering unobstructed mountain views and easy access to Tejon Street, where you’ll find plenty of nightlife options, indie films, and local history. Additionally, the hotel’s amenities were also impressive. Whenever we wanted to work up a sweat, we could just head to the huge fitness center or swim in the indoor or outdoor pool. We even found a shoe shine stand to keep us polished at all times. We also enjoyed the spa and salon privileges at the sister hotel, The Mining Exchange (we’ll talk about this hotel right after this).

For a luxury hotel, the standard rooms here are pretty affordable yet super comfortable. You’ll find all the essentials you need, including a granite-top dresser with plenty of storage space. We booked the Junior King Suite, which was the perfect choice. It was even bigger than we imagined, and the city views were with the extra dollars. As for dining, the delicious Neapolitan pizzas at Sportivo Primo were a must-try. Don’t forget the pre-dinner cocktails at the Piccadilly Bar, too!

The Mining Exchange is another favorite of ours. The hotel’s prime downtown location, just a block from Tejon Street, made it easy to explore the city’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. We were impressed by the proximity to cultural institutions like the Pioneers Museum and Fine Arts Centre. Aside from the location, the staff was another plus point of this hotel. The concierge was a wealth of knowledge about the hotel and the local area. He also encouraged us to explore the amenities, and we did. While the gym, spa, and ballrooms were fantastic, we were especially impressed by the Gold Room. It’s a music venue that makes the hotel even more unique.

Furthermore, we enjoyed dining at Springs Orleans, the hotel’s restaurant. The Creole dishes tasted so good, and the courtyard provided us with a charming outdoor dining option. And once we’ve done everything we wanted to, we would head back to our Remedy King Suite. We loved the large windows with city views and the luxurious stone shower.

Garden of the Gods Resort & Club

Best Amenities. It’s impossible to talk about luxury resorts in Colorado Springs without mentioning the Garden of the Gods Resort & Club. The resort’s prime location, just across the highway from the iconic Garden of the Gods park, provided us with easy access to stunning outdoor adventures. And as a former members-only, the resort exudes a sense of exclusivity and personalized service. We felt like valued guests and were treated with the same level of care and attention as if we were part of the club. The resort’s extensive amenities were impressive, too. We’re not just talking about pools but also tennis courts, a 27-hole golf course, and a family recreation center. We also loved working out at the state-of-the-art gym.

We stayed in the spacious Cottage Suite with a balcony overlooking the expansive lawn, reflecting pond, and majestic mountains. The suite was beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings, modern amenities, and a luxurious bathroom. We were shocked when we found The Gilchrist & Soames toiletries! The resort’s dining options were equally impressive. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Kissing Camel Grille, The Rocks, and the Grand View Dining Room. The Grand View Dining Room, in particular, was a highlight, with its stunning views of the red rocks and delicious, locally sourced cuisine.

The Broadmoor

Best Luxury. The Broadmoor is one of the brightest Colorado gems. Throughout our stay, we couldn’t help but be captivated. The resort’s commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of our stay. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring that our every need was met. The facilities were top-notch, with two world-class golf courses, multiple swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a bowling alley, and a spa. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Seven Falls, which were easily accessible via the resort’s free shuttle service. This particular service was a huge win for us.

The accommodations at this hotel are nothing short of luxurious. Our room was beautifully decorated with traditional yet comfortable furnishings and offered stunning views of the lake. The spacious bathroom was a spa-like retreat, complete with a soaking tub and separate shower. That said, the dining options were equally impressive. We indulged in gourmet cuisine at the Penrose Room, enjoyed casual fare at the English pub, and savored delicious Italian dishes at the ristorante. The Lake Terrace Dining Room offered us a sumptuous Sunday brunch buffet, while the Natural Epicurean was our choice for a quick and healthy breakfast.
