Wyndham Reef Resort
Many places claim themselves as one of the all inclusive hotels in Grand Cayman, but there’s only one true all-inclusive property on the island: Wyndham Reef Resort. By staying here, you’ll never have to worry about anything. All you have to do is show up! The hotel offers two all-inclusive packages, and we chose the Standard All-Inclusive, which covered meals, drinks, and some on-site activities.
Beachfront Escape
We wanted to escape our routine and relax without the tourist crowds and noise, which made the Wyndham Reef Resort the perfect choice. Located on Grand Cayman’s quiet East End, we were worlds away from the island’s busier parts. And to make things even better, we got the Beachfront Studio. As the name suggests, our room opened up to a view so blue that we didn’t want to leave. We also have our own little balcony, with chairs and a table for two. We even got a small kitchen area, complete with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge.
“Private beach and ocean views from the comfort of our room? Definitely hard to top!”

Dining Done Right
We’ve stayed at all-inclusives before, but Wyndham Reef Resort’s version felt refreshingly personal. The Tides Restaurant & Bar was easily our favorite dining spot, serving up flavorful international dishes and local Caribbean favorites. Whether it was a hearty breakfast buffet or a laid-back dinner by the beach, we appreciated the mix of vegan and vegetarian options.
Lunch was a toss-up between grabbing a Subway combo or enjoying freshly grilled seafood at the Beach Bar (which also happens to have a killer view). Meanwhile, dinners were often accompanied by theme nights and live entertainment, adding a little extra fun to the evenings. And the drinks? Let’s just say we made good use of the all-you-can-drink perk, from tropical frozen cocktails to local rum punch. Just be prepared to go back and forth to the toilet!
Sun, Sea, and So Much to Do
While the setting alone was enough to make us happy, we loved that Wyndham Reef Resort included so many activities in the all-inclusive plan. Every day we could choose between kayaking, paddleboarding, or snorkeling. Of course, we were given free gear, too. Psst! The water was so clear it felt like we were swimming in an aquarium. When we weren’t in the ocean, we would hit the fitness center, relax by the pool, or join a yoga class on the beach. The staff even helped us arrange a dive trip to nearby coral reefs, which was a highlight of our stay. If you’ve been searching for the best dive resorts in the Caribbean, we’re sure you’ll love Wyndham Reef.
What made Wyndham Reef Resort the best all inclusive resort in Grand Cayman was how easy it was to enjoy everything without worrying about extra costs. From the food and drinks to the activities and even the tips, it was all covered.

Partially All Inclusive Resorts in Grand Cayman
While the resorts below aren’t “true” all-inclusives, they still offer you packages that can give a similar experience.
Grand Cayman Marriott Resort
If you can ignore a few things, the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort can be considered an all-inclusive hotel. Our rate included unlimited bike rentals and daily breakfast. Although it’s only a partially inclusive package (since we didn’t have unlimited top-end drinks), we still had a blast. We enjoyed the fresh crepes and coffee. Make sure to have casual bites at Anchor & Den and a drink at the poolside Vista Bar. Another highlight of this hotel: all rooms were newly renovated. Plus, the location right on Seven Mile Beach made it easy to explore.
However, if you’re visiting with your entire family and think this place isn’t big enough, consider these top villas in the Cayman Islands instead!

Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa
You’ll love staying at the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa. We booked the Bungalow Experience, which allowed us to start every morning with an energizing fitness class, followed by an incredible meal crafted by the resort’s own top chef. When we wanted to slow things down, we treated ourselves to The Ultimate Spa Day. The mix of massage, hydra-facial, and manicure totally rejuvenated us. By staying here, you can also enjoy yoga sessions, sunset cocktails, and an occasional pool party.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman
Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman was all about effortless luxury and top-notch service. From check-in to checkout, everything ran smoothly. We chose the “Stay Longer with Us” package, which gave us a few extra days in a beautiful room with ocean views and access to great dining options. The daily breakfast buffet was excellent. We also considered the “Cayman Cookout” package at one point, which features events led by Chef Éric Ripert. This resort delivered exactly what we expected from a Five Diamond property: comfort, quality, and a truly refined experience.

Where to Stay in Grand Cayman
Grand Cayman offers a variety of areas to suit different types of travelers, but the most popular is Seven Mile Beach, located along the West Bay and George Town area. As you can see from the name, this iconic stretch of nearly seven miles of soft, white sand and calm turquoise waters is the hub of the island’s luxury tourism. In fact, visiting this beach is one of the top things to do in Cayman Islands. It’s lined with high-end resorts, restaurants, bars, and shops, providing convenience and entertainment all in one place.
For travelers seeking a quieter and more secluded experience, the East End is a top choice. This area is less commercialized, offering boutique resorts and natural attractions that showcase the island’s authentic beauty. Its pristine beaches, coral reefs, and marine parks are perfect for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, while couples or those looking for peace and privacy will appreciate the calm, laid-back vibe.
Finally, the North Side, particularly around Rum Point, is known for its relaxed, Caribbean atmosphere. This area is ideal for travelers seeking tranquility and a slower pace, with calm beaches, local eateries, and opportunities for kayaking, sailing, and other water activities. Families and budget-conscious visitors often favor this part of the island, where the vibe is more casual and authentic, offering a contrast to the luxury-focused areas of Seven Mile Beach.
