We could grab a bite or a drink without leaving the resort. The fitness center was a nice bonus too, especially for keeping up with workouts on vacation. Everything we needed was right there, without the stress or the extra cost.

It’s tucked away on a quiet side road just off busy I-Drive, but still just a short walk to Orlando Premium Outlets and plenty of restaurants. Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld were all within a 10 to 15-minute drive, and getting around was a breeze.

The hotel had everything we needed to keep our stay smooth. We made good use of the pool and outdoor BBQ area, and the Spin2Cycle fitness room was a clever perk. We even fit in a workout while doing laundry.

Tucked away near the quiet Western Way entrance to Walt Disney World, it gave us the best of both worlds—close enough to hit the parks early, yet far enough to truly unwind afterward. While there’s not much within walking distance, we didn’t mind since there was a shuttle to the parks.

What really stood out to us were the thoughtful amenities. We started our mornings with a strong cup from the Seattle’s Best coffee bar, and loved having the 24-hour market stocked with local craft beer and late-night snacks. The pool was massive and had plenty of comfortable lounging space. But the best part? The room. We had plenty of space for the four of us to spread out, and it never felt cramped. The mini fridge and microwave made prepping quick meals a breeze, and the Marriott Sealy mattress was so comfy. Tech-wise, the internet TV and Bluetooth iHome system were nice additions, and we appreciated the Paul Mitchell toiletries and the Cuisinart coffee maker.

Best for Universal Studios. We stayed at the Rosen Inn Closest to Universal because, well, the name doesn’t lie. Just a short walk from Universal Orlando, and with free shuttles to both Universal and SeaWorld, we barely had to think about transportation.

Aside from the location, we also enjoyed the food. We started most mornings with the breakfast buffet at The Palms Dining Room, and it was a solid way to fuel up before a full park day. Psst! On evenings we didn’t feel like going out, we grabbed snacks from the Lite Bite Mini-Market and even ended one night with drinks at the on-site pub, which had a cozy vibe and a jukebox playing throwback tunes.

For the price, our Deluxe King Room was surprisingly comfortable. The bed was one of those pillow-top mattresses that practically hugs you, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in. Having dozens of dining options and shopping right around the corner made things so convenient, especially after long park days when we didn’t want to go far.

Inside, we were amazed by how comfortable and family-friendly the hotel was. The concierge desk really came through for us, helping sort out park tickets and giving great local tips. We also made use of the fitness room and lounged by the pool during our spare time. Speaking of which, the poolside food and drink service was amazing, and the convenience store downstairs saved us more than once when we needed quick snacks or forgotten essentials.

While there were so many rooms to choose from, we figured the Double Queen Room suited our needs the most. What did we love about it? A lot. The Serta beds were so comfy we slept like rocks. We also loved the little tech-friendly additions, like extra outlets and the option to log into our Netflix account. The bathroom was a bit tight but spotless.

It’s not a full Disney resort, but we still got great perks like free shuttles to the parks (just 10–15 minutes) and access to Extra Magic Hours, which let us beat the crowds.
