Tiny Cosy was the ultimate escape we desperately needed! We felt the stress vanish the moment we pulled up to this luxurious, nature-filled haven. The check-in was seamless. Most Unique. We loved that Hotel Giorgi is right in the heart of Bastogne, overlooking the famous Place Général McAuliffe. The self-check-in was easy and fast, as expected from one of the best hotels in Bastogne Belgium. We got our codes that morning, and being able to walk in whenever we were ready instantly made the start of our trip stress-free.

But here’s the real secret: splurge on one of the two private geodesic domes. It felt like a luxurious, glass-paneled observatory, complete with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Watching the sunset and then lying in that ridiculously comfortable bed, just staring up at the dark canopy and the stars, was truly unforgettable and absolutely worth every single penny for that magical, remote escape.

The logistics here are easy as well. Thanks to the Italian restaurant right next door, we didn’t have to wander far for dinner. The fresh pasta and pizza were exactly what we craved! They also offer a handy buffet breakfast option. For travelers on two wheels, they provide secure storage for bikes and motorbikes. The house came with some amazing perks that really made our trip. The sauna became our go-to relaxation spot after a long hike. The garden was small but perfectly maintained, and having free Wi-Fi and private parking made everything so much easier.

Inside, the house was just as charming. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, from a dishwasher to plenty of kitchenware. After a long train ride, we were so relieved when our destination, Hotel Melba, was just a short three-minute walk from the Bastogne-Sud station. It’s a cozy, family-run spot with an incredible location. From there, it was easy to get to the museums. We could walk to Musée en Piconrue and the Bastogne War Museum was just a quick drive away.

Coming back to the hotel was honestly like coming home. It offers secure storage for bikes, and the free parking was a huge plus for us. We also made sure to enjoy a relaxing evening on the intimate, tree-shaded terrace. We would enjoy a quiet drink and some snacks there whenever we could.

Best for Families. We stayed a couple of days at Villa Intensity, and we had a blast. We booked this place at the last minute, and the host was nothing short of a miracle worker. He went above and beyond to get everything ready for us, making a chaotic travel day instantly feel comfortable and stress-free.

The setup of this gigantic house is brilliant. There are three cozy bedrooms, two spacious bathrooms, and a lovely seating area complete with a fireplace. The highlight for us, though, was the massive, toy-filled mezzanine! It became the kids’ instant clubhouse, which gave us peace and quiet. Plus, the kitchen wasn’t just equipped; it was fully loaded with every pot and utensil you could ever need.

Before you leave, you absolutely have to check out the host’s perfume boutique right next door. It’s a fun little must-do! Not only was it a cool, unexpected find, but they also handed us discount vouchers, which were the perfect excuse to snag a little souvenir.

When we arrived at La Belle Éden Gîte Bastogne, we immediately noticed how peaceful the suburb of Savy felt. It’s tucked just enough outside of Bastogne to be quiet and calm, yet we could walk to downtown in mere minutes. Parking right at the house was super convenient, too. On top of that, the whole neighborhood had this warm, welcoming vibe.

The terrace quickly became our hangout spot. Because it’s covered, we didn’t have to worry about the weather. It was perfect for slow breakfasts in the fresh air and cozy evenings with a glass of wine. The garden added to the charm, with plenty of space to lounge or enjoy a barbecue.

Inside, the place felt clean and comfortable, with just the right amount of space. The two bedrooms were simple but cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It really felt like a little home base, where we could both unwind and enjoy being so close to the heart of Bastogne.

Best Restaurant. If you don’t want to empty your bank but also don’t want to sacrifice comfort, we highly recommend Hotel Leo Station, Villa et Annexes. With its history dating back to 1946 and a prime spot on Place Mac Auliffe, the hotel feels like a true throwback with modern style. It was the perfect launchpad for our adventures, as we found ourselves just a quick drive from charming towns like Wiltz and Houffalize, and only 10 minutes from the amazing bison farm at La Ferme des Bisons.

For our stay, we booked the Deluxe Double Room, and it was worth every penny. The hot tub was definitely the highlight. Sinking into it after hours of sightseeing and walking was all that we needed. Throughout our stay, we were able to sleep peacefully thanks to the soundproof walls.

The dining options were an adventure in themselves. We started our mornings with the great breakfast buffet, but the real fun began in the evening. When we finally got inside, we were immediately impressed with the apartment. It was huge! There was so much room for all three of us to spread out and truly relax, not to mention the main bed was incredibly comfortable. We appreciated that the large, modern bathroom was away from the main sleeping area, and they even had a pile of big, fluffy towels waiting for us. Despite being on a busy street, we could easily block all the noise by closing the windows.

The whole check-in process was also simple and totally stress-free. A few days before we arrived, we got a message with all the codes we needed. They weren’t just for our apartment, but for the bike shed, too. It was so easy to let ourselves in, drop our bags, and get our e-bikes safely stored away.
