Grand Anara Airport Hotel

Best New Hotel. The Grand Anara Airport Hotel is the newest addition to the top hotels in Jakarta Airport. We were looking for something convenient, close to the airport, comfortable, and affordable, and this hotel ticked all the boxes – and then some! Being located inside the terminal was a plus for us. We arrived late and were able to wheel our luggage trolley straight to the hotel lobby.
From the moment we stepped into our Deluxe Double Room, we were in awe. The room was surprisingly spacious, which was great for us as we had some luggage to spread out. But the real highlight was the bed. The mattress and pillows were absolutely perfect – just the right amount of softness and support.
The next morning, we enjoyed a decent Indonesian-style breakfast. There was a good selection, including an egg station and a pastry section. It was exactly what we needed before heading back to the airport.

Best for Relaxation. After a long and tiring travel day, we were so grateful to discover d’primahotel Airport Jakarta Terminal 3 Wellness Center. It was the perfect place to recharge before our next flight. The location within Terminal 3, near the ATM center and check-in counter, couldn’t have been more convenient, especially with our awkwardly timed flight.
We stayed in the Superior Double Room, and it was exactly what we expected from the photos online – simple, modern, and most importantly, spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the attention to cleanliness; everything felt fresh and new. The bathroom was equally pristine, and the towels were fluffy and smelled fresh. It’s those little details that make a big difference.
But the real highlight of our stay was definitely the wellness center. Being able to indulge in some of the treatments, particularly the massages, was just what we needed. It was the perfect way to de-stress after hours of sitting in the plane. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready for the next leg of our journey.

Best for International Flights. Another great hotel in Jakarta Airport that’s perfect for early morning departures is the Anara Airport Hotel. This hotel is right in Terminal 3 of the airport, which is for international flights. Its location will not only save you time but also hassle.
For our stay, we opted for the Deluxe King Room. The queen-sized bed was surprisingly comfortable. We also appreciated the good sound insulation; despite being so close to the airport, we had a peaceful and restful sleep. If you want a more luxurious experience, though, is the Executive Suite. It has a spacious layout, with a separate living room and bedroom.
One of the things that really stood out to us was the hotel’s thoughtful provision of a very early breakfast. Being able to grab something to eat between 2 AM and 5 AM before our flight was incredibly helpful. It’s a fantastic option for travelers with early departures like us.
“This airport hotel is the perfect example of affordable luxury.”

Best Budget. Another great option for those who have a layover at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and need a place to crash for the night is the d’primahotel Airport Jakarta Terminal 1A. As the name suggests, this hotel is right at the arrival gate of Terminal 1A. Even though we arrived at Terminal 3, hopping on the airport train made getting there a breeze. No long taxi rides or confusing bus transfers.
The hotel itself is exactly as advertised: compact and casual. Our Superior Double Room, while not huge, was the right size for us. The important things were all there: fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and essential amenities like air conditioning and tea/coffee-making facilities. Everything was clean, which is a top priority for us.
We weren’t expecting the Ritz, and it certainly wasn’t. The coffee shop downstairs was modest, but it served its purpose, and we appreciated having breakfast available before our next flight. Honestly, for a short layover, d’primahotel was perfect as it provided everything we needed.

Best Overall. For a short layover, there’s no better option than the Jakarta Airport Hotel. The location of this hotel truly couldn’t be more convenient, as it’s right above the arrival gate of Terminal 2E. We could literally be at the check-in counters within minutes. This is a huge advantage for anyone with limited time.
For our stay, we booked the Superior Double Room. The soundproofing was excellent, as we didn’t hear any of the usual airport hustle and bustle. We especially found the in-room flight information screens to be brilliant. Being able to check our flight status from the comfort of our bed was incredibly convenient.
What about the rest of the amenities? At the hotel, you’ll find a 24-hour front desk and room service. Additionally, there’s a business center and luggage storage. We also made use of the massage service!
