We kid you not; every corner here boasts breathtaking views, making every moment a postcard-perfect memory.

There’s no such thing as resort boredom at this hotel. It keeps the fun factor on high with a kaleidoscope of activities. During our stay, we had the chance to hone our skills with wine tastings and craft-making classes. If you’re into something more active, participate in the various watersports or beach volleyball. Additionally, there’s a state-of-the-art fitness center and a spa, too. Plus, there are six specialty restaurants catering to every palate. The cherry on top is the Swim-Up King Suite. TRS is an ideal place for travelers regardless of their mood. Guests are invited to dive into the sparkling pool, challenge their friends to a game of tennis, and unwind on the private beach. Since we were looking for something more thrilling, we ventured out for a canoeing adventure in the crystal-clear waters. But if you prefer weights and treadmills, head to the 24-hour fitness center instead. Finally, there’s also an on-site garden that provides a tranquil escape for nature lovers.

Like many other popular resorts in the city, Hotel Emporio Cancun is set in the Hotel Zone. Though not a 5-star hotel, this hotel does act like one. For instance, it has tons of luxurious amenities. The heart of the hotel is none other than the smoke-free beach. Honestly, we couldn’t ask for anything better for its price. With direct access to the beach, we would always wake up to the smell of the sea and the refreshing breeze. The beach was exceptionally clean during our stay, and it wasn’t that crowded either. Have a seat under the umbrella and enjoy the day!

Want to enjoy this hotel to the maximum? Choose the hotel’s Swim-Up Room! It lets you take a dip in the shared pool at any time of the day while also enjoying the privacy of your room. What made our stay more memorable was the on-site restaurants and bars. The on-site Sunset Grill was our go-to restaurant, and the Mexican dishes there were to die for. Lastly, the Mayan Museum and El Rey Mayan Ruins are only a short distance away.

Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa

Best for Families. The Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa is a seafront accommodation that has captured countless hearts with its aquatic amenities. Here, you can float in one of the two outdoor swimming pools. If that’s too ordinary for you, have fun in the water park. If you have your kids with you, let them have fun in the kid-sized splash park. For the best experience, stay in the Swim Out Preferred Club Junior Suite. As the name implies, this suite offers access to the adults-only pool, making it a magnificent choice for honeymoons.

Furthermore, the family hotel in Cancun also features an on-site spa. The highlight of the spa is none other than the Temazcal steam bath. We spent a good minute there, and it was truly magical. It’s said that this steam bath can improve your overall health. But if you’re more into lifting weights, head to the fitness center instead. Are you looking for more activities? First, let’s talk about its location. This hotel is conveniently set right next to the beach. It took us only a short stroll to reach the beach, where we could soak up the sun and sink our feet in the turquoise waters. Meanwhile, downtown was only a short 20-minute drive away. The shops and nightlife there awed us, and we highly recommend checking them out.

This Cancun hotel has two outdoor pools catering to different moods. The main pool we visited the most buzzes with music, swim-up bar action, and organized activities. For a more laid-back vibe, the oceanfront pool awaits. Speaking of pools, you should sleep in the Swim-Up Junior Suite. With direct access to the pool, it’s easily the best room on the property. Rounding up the amenities are the on-site gym and four restaurants serving Italian and international cuisine.

Most Fun. While there are so many high-end Cancun hotels with swim-up rooms, not many can match the excitement at Planet Hollywood Cancun, where every guest is treated like an A-lister. Even before coming to the resort, we knew it was a one-of-a-kind resort. Still, we couldn’t imagine what was in front of us once we were there. Think pool parties, Hollywood memorabilia, themed activities, and nightclub festivity. Whether it’s day or night, your stay at Planet Hollywood will never be vanilla. For aquatic fun, go to the on-site water park or splash in one of the swimming pools.

More, you said? At this resort, more is always better. So, don’t be shocked to find 11 restaurants and bars on the property. It can get overwhelming, but it’s better than not having enough options, right? On that note, it also features 648 suites. The star of the resort, though, is the suites with swim-out pools. We loved chilling on the terrace and taking a dip when once in a while. If you don’t have a budget for your trip to Cancun and don’t mind splurging, this resort is for you. That’s because it boasts some of the fanciest amenities in all of Cancun. In fact, why don’t you book one of the lavish Inspira Swim Out Junior Suites? We stayed there, and we were glad we chose that suite. It offered us direct access to the swim-up pool. Whether it’s at night or in the morning, we always made time to take a dip and take in the stunning Caribbean views from the comfort of the pool. Best Amenities. Nestled between the Caribbean turquoise and the calm of Bahia Petempich, Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa isn’t just another all-inclusive resort. This is a playground for adults looking for a memorable and sophisticated escape. When we first arrived at the resort, our jaws dropped as it was so big. The resort’s horseshoe-shaped layout offers two distinct personalities: the lively section and the serene side. Each zone has its own pool scene, restaurants, and unique vibe. We were always kept busy during our stay. From joining water aerobics classes to sipping a curated cocktail by the infinity pool, Breathless truly took our breath away.

We booked the Xcelerate Junior Suite, and it honestly exceeded our already high expectations. From its effortless pool access to the minibar, this suite had everything we wanted. One of the highlights of this resort is none other than its Elegance Club pools. We were lucky enough to be able to spend our time there, and it was memorable. Each pool offered us stunning ocean views and a tranquil atmosphere. Spending hours soaking up the sun there is a must.

These rooms offer direct access to a shared pool from your private balcony, allowing you to dip whenever possible. No wonder Majestic is named one of the top Cancun hotels with swim-up rooms. The surprise doesn’t end there. This resort also features nine restaurants, a spa, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. We particularly loved eating at Kabuki. Serving Japanese cuisine, the sushi there tasted fantastic. Finally, there’s a wide variety of daily activities to keep guests busy as well.

Best Overall. The Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is a 5-star, all-inclusive resort in Cancun. As an adults-only hotel, no kids are allowed here. But if you don’t plan to bring your kids along, you won’t regret booking a room here. There are more than 500 spacious suites on the property, and many of them are swim-up suites. Of course, we had to stay in that accommodation. The suite gave us one of the best experiences in the city. The semi-private swimming pool was both clean and refreshing, and we loved spending our morning there while enjoying the gorgeous garden views. In addition to the swim-up pool, the resort also boasts two bigger outdoor pools.
