Hoodoo Moab
Minutes away from the top attractions
Let’s start with the obvious reason why we adore Hoodoo Moab: its location. Not only did we have stunning views of Moab’s iconic red rocks right from the hotel, but it was incredibly convenient for exploring the area.
Being just steps away from the city center meant we could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and anything else we needed in Moab itself. Plus, the hotel’s location is perfect for day trips to nearby National Parks. Arches National Park is a quick 10-minute drive, and Canyonlands National Park, while further at 30 miles, is still easily accessible for a day of adventure.
The best part? Having complimentary parking on-site made our exploration even smoother. We didn’t have to worry about finding street parking or paying extra fees, which was a huge plus. The hotel’s location is truly a slam dunk!

Sweet suite
From the King Room to the Two-Room Queen Suite, we were spoilt with accommodation options at Hoodoo Moab. However, we found the One-Bedroom King Suite to be the perfect choice. The king bed in the private bedroom was incredibly inviting, and the separate living area with a queen-sized sofa sleeper was great for spreading out. We especially loved the parlor boasting spectacular views – it was the ideal spot to unwind and forget about everything.
On top of that, our suite was loaded with amenities that made our stay feel luxurious. The in-room safe kept our valuables secure, and the mini-fridge was perfect for storing drinks and snacks. We also had cozy nights in with the 55-inch HD TV and the coffee maker was much-needed for those early mornings.
The highlight, though, was the private balcony. Overlooking the pool area, it was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the fresh Moab air, especially after a refreshing dip.

Chic on-site restaurant
When it comes to dining, Hoodoo Moab boasts Josie Wyatt’s Grille. It’s the only restaurant on the property, and we were thoroughly thrilled with our experience. The atmosphere was super chill – relaxed yet upscale with this cool rustic decor. There was even a nice outdoor patio. The steak was juicy, and you can find a great cocktail menu, too.
However, if you’re looking for something a little different, there are also some great restaurants within walking distance, like Singha Thai Cuisine or Trailhead Public House and Eatery.
“During our time there, we never had to worry about food. The options were plenty.”
