Best value for money. Located in downtown Moab, Expedition Lodge makes the perfect starting point for our exploration. It’s right on Main Street where lots of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance.
That aside, the hotel’s pet policy was the star of the show. Not only does the hotel welcome pets, but they also welcome them for no extra fee. And to top it off, there’s no size restriction, so even our chunky dog could come with us. Upon checking in, our dogs were welcomed with open arms and were given treats.
”When it comes to pet-friendly hotels, the ones with no pet fee, like Expedition Lodge, will always land in our good book.”
WOW Travel
The hotel itself was great. Everything was well-maintained, the staff was great, and there were lots of facilities we got to enjoy. The outdoor pool came with big slides and sun umbrellas. There’s also an arcade room with vintage games and a ping-pong table. Additionally, the hotel’s BBQ facilities allowed us fun grill nights. For breakfasts, we would never miss the hotel’s tasty hot breakfast spread.
Lastly, the guest room we had was perfect. It had laminated wooden flooring, so we didn’t have to worry about trekking sand inside. The bed was extra comfy, and the mod-cons like cable TV, and mini-fridge added to our convenience.

Hotel Moab Downtown is another pet-friendly hotel that’s located in a great location. At first sight, the hotel might not be the most modern-looking, but it has the making of a comfortable lodging. Most importantly, the hotel welcomes dogs with open arms, which is all we needed in the first place. That said, the pet policy also accounts for allowing 2 dogs of any size for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night.
Beyond that, our experience at the hotel was great. The staff was helpful throughout our stay and ensured our dog was comfortable. Our room featured the standard mod-cons, and while there weren’t many pet amenities, our dog got to sleep on the settee. Additionally, we got to enjoy free breakfast and access to the outdoor pool. If you have bikes, there’s a secured bike storage room, and guests get free parking space for cars/RVs.

Best luxurious dog-friendly hotel. Staying at the Hoodoo Moab, Curio Collection by Hilton was a treat for us. This time we wanted to have an actual high-class hospitality, and Hoodoo Moab served us exactly that. The pet fee here was on the pricier side, but it was worth every penny. That said, the hotel’s pet policy extends to welcoming pets (cats/dogs) up to 25lb, with an additional fee of $75 for stays of 1 to 4 nights, and $125 for longer stays.
Now, the hotel itself is very fancy. It’s located just a block away from Main Street, allowing us a bit of quiet from the busy road. As for the amenities, the hotel made sure we had everything. From a luxurious pool & spa center, a delicious spread of complimentary breakfast, a high-end fitness center, an on-site boutique, and a high-rated steak bar.

Staying at the Hyatt Place Moab we knew that we were in for a world-renowned hospitality. From the moment we got there, it was a whole different experience. For starters, the hotel sits right below one of Moab’s rocky mountains, painting an exclusive and luxurious look to the hotel.
And like its mesmerizing surroundings, the hotel’s services are just as incredible. The pet policy accommodates dogs under 50lb (75lb for 2 dogs). Granted, there’s an additional $75 pet fee for up to a 4-night stay and $125 for longer, but considering the high-quality hospitality, it was still a good deal.
Sure enough, the staff were excellent from the get-go. They were always quick to assist us with anything and even provided us with a mountain view guest room. It also came with a cozy sofa that our dog quickly claimed for himself, a comfy bed, and all the necessary amenities we needed.

Field Station Moab is a pet-friendly hotel for adventurers. Located just minutes from the National Parks, this hotel provides a haven amidst Moab’s red stones. While we loved the mesmerizing scenery, the hotel’s stylish interior rivals its surroundings. Every time we entered the hotel, its sleek Scandinavian interior instantly calmed us after a day of outdoor adventure.
Nevertheless, our experience here was made ten times better with our dog joining us. Granted, there’s a $20 pet fee per pet, per night, and a 60lb weight cap, but the accommodating staff made sure our stay was hassle-free. And sure enough, after checking in we were then ushered to our guest room. Like the rest of the hotel, our room was pristine, with plenty of storage room for our gears and bike, and concrete flooring for easy clean up. It suffices to say, that both us and our dog settled in comfortably.

Element Moab is a pet-friendly hotel to go for a high-end experience without the price tag. The hotel overlooks Moab’s red rock mountains, and its decor reflects the surroundings, with a brown color scheme furnishing, sleek concrete flooring, and an open layout. As far as first impression goes, we were thoroughly impressed.
However, the hotel’s hospitality was the thing that caught our attention. The staff was super professional and friendly. They were excited to have our furry buddy as guests and made sure she was comfortable throughout our stay. And since the hotel’s pet policy was simple enough, we had no problem checking in. That said, the hotel welcomes two pets up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per stay.
Moreover, for facilities, the hotel was short of everything. They have a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a restaurant & bar. Our favorite was the hotel’s patio with BBQ grills and a fire pit, where we’d hang out with our dog. Lastly, our room was simply amazing. It came with a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, and a mini-fridge. We had an especially plushy bed, and our dog had the comfy sofa to herself.
