The hotel’s design is a perfect blend of Scandinavian minimalism and sustainable practices. We were also impressed when we learned about its commitment to eco-friendliness and wellness.
Speaking of wellness, the outdoor pool was awesome. It was big, taken care of, and simply our favorite spot to relax. For those who prefer indoor workouts, the state-of-the-art gym offers a variety of equipment. We also appreciated the opportunity to join yoga or cardio classes, which allowed us to make some new friends. If you’re looking for a more mindful experience, the hotel’s meditation room is a peaceful retreat. Each room is thoughtfully designed with eco-friendly bath products, Himalayan salt lamps, and yoga mats, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

We’ve stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Colorado Springs a few times, and we were always amazed by the pool, as it was immaculate. The clear water shimmered under the Colorado sun, making it impossible to resist taking a dip. For us, cleanliness was a must, and this hotel’s pool area passed the test perfectly. But the pool wasn’t the only highlight. The large jacuzzi was another great addition. Nothing could beat the feeling of being in the warm, bubbling waters.
The amenities at this hotel didn’t disappoint either. The buffet breakfast was a feast for the senses. From fluffy pancakes to crispy bacon, everything was so good. The chef knew their stuff. Accessibility was also a big plus. The hotel offered an accessible mobility room, which was great to see. Our room? We stayed in the Premium King Room. Being on the higher floor, we were in love with the beautiful surrounding views.

The hotel’s bright and cheerful rooms, in colors like spring green, daffodil yellow, and sky blue, are charming. We loved having a kitchen and living area in our King Studio Suite, which made our stay feel more like home. The dedicated workspace was also a bonus.
One of our favorite features of the hotel was the indoor heated saline pool. The floor-to-ceiling windows allowed plenty of natural light to filter in, and we appreciated the hotel’s commitment to using greener practices by opting for a chemical-free pool. The staff at the Home2 Suites was also amicable and helpful. They were always available to answer our questions and make sure we had everything we needed.

When we arrived at The Academy Hotel Colorado Springs and were in the atrium, we accidentally caught a glimpse of the sparkling clean pool. Of course, it wasn’t long after that for us to head to the pool area. It was a true oasis of tranquility. It was meticulously maintained, and the water was refreshingly cool. Whether we preferred to swim laps or simply float on a pool float, the pool was perfect for both relaxation and exercise.
The hotel’s rooms are nothing short of comfortable. From plush bedding to spacious interiors, we felt right at home during our stay. The attention to detail in our room decor and amenities ensured that we could unwind and rejuvenate. What’s more, as self-proclaimed breakfast enthusiasts, we must say that the breakfast spread at the hotel was nothing short of outstanding. After a refreshing swim, we decided to explore one of the trails and were rewarded with breathtaking views of the Colorado landscape.

One of the things that impressed us the most during our stay was the rooftop pool, which offers stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. It was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The indoor pool was another great option, especially on cooler days.
In addition to the pools, the hotel has a fitness center, a business center, and plenty of meeting space. When it comes to the hotel’s location, it’s also ideal for exploring the area. We enjoyed hiking and horseback riding at Garden of the Gods Park, one of the top things to do in Colorado Springs. The Broadmoor Pikes Peak Cog Railway was also within easy reach. Best of all, our room offered us gorgeous views of the mountain.

Best Views. The views alone at the Garden of the Gods Resort & Club are worth the trip. Imagine relaxing by a pool with the majestic Rocky Mountains as your backdrop. It’s like something out of a dream! One of our favorite things about the pool was that it was heated. Even though we visited during the cooler months, we were able to enjoy a comfortable swim without shivering. It was the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip.
The spa packages at this resort are top-notch. After a day of swimming and sunbathing, we treated ourselves to a rejuvenating massage. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. The location of the resort is also a major plus. We were able to easily visit popular attractions like the Garden of the Gods Park and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It was the right combination of relaxation and adventure.

Let’s start by saying that the views at Cheyenne Mountain Resort are breathtaking. Situated amidst the rolling hills and surrounded by Colorado’s stunning natural beauty, this resort offers a pool experience unlike any other. When we first arrived, we were instantly impressed by the immaculate grounds. The resort’s landscaping is carefully maintained, creating a tranquil setting.
The hotel has 5 swimming options on-site, but the heated year-round pool and hot tub located outside of the main lodge are spectacular choices for panoramas of Cheyenne Mountain. Alternatively, paddle around the 35-acre lake on a boat or jump in for a refreshing dip. The service was great, too. From the moment we stepped foot in the pool area, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive assistance. The staff members were knowledgeable and eager to make our experience unforgettable.

Best for Families. We had a fantastic time at Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The water park was a blast, with 13 thrilling slides and a 79,000 sq ft pool. We were particularly blown away by the poolside dance party. It was electric, and everyone was having a great time. It was so much fun to groove to the music with people of all ages. The pool itself was clean and had an amazing view. We were impressed by the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel. It made swimming even more enjoyable.
We loved being able to order food and drinks right from the pool. It was so convenient and kept us fueled throughout the day. Another thing that stood out to us was the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. We saw people from all walks of life enjoying themselves and feeling accepted. There are three pools on the property, but the rooftop pool was the highlight of our stay.
