The Plaza

Most luxurious. Our stay at The Plaza Hotel was like no other hotel in NYC. This was the most luxurious accommodation we ever had. It’s costly but when you stay there for a couple of nights, you’ll know it’s worth it. Choose between luxurious suites or rooms, both offer premium facilities and modern bathrooms. Speaking of it, our bathroom was very spacious, actually, it was the size of the traditional hotel rooms we stayed in before. Can you imagine the size of the room itself?
Adding to the luxurious experience, we had a welcome drink and other complimentary drinks and desserts in our room. What’s more, we had peaceful moments of relaxation in the health and wellness center enjoying a professional massage. Also, we couldn’t escape lunch at the on-site restaurant, The Palm Court. This restaurant is a fine-dining premises always recommended for romantic dinners or dates. Rounding up the services and facilities, we used the airport shuttle service to and from the airport.

Another exquisite accommodation, it’s Park Lane New York. We were captivated by the breathtaking views from our room. It was a 43rd-floor room overlooking the Central Park. This was one of the best bits of the hotel. The rooms are equipped with modern furniture. We felt very comfy in our room and since it was on a high floor, we didn’t hear any of the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. Moreover, we enjoyed the premium-quality toiletries, towels, bed linens, and every other amenity in our room. They took care of everything.
One of the best spots there was the Darling rooftop bar and lounge. We enjoyed fresh drinks and delights at night in this lounge on the 47th floor. The ambiance was great, and the music was unique.
For other meals, there are other on-site restaurants with special offerings. You can check them here on the official website. With such a good location, premium services, and friendly staff, we couldn’t ask for more. We enjoyed our stay here up to the limits.

Book a suite at The Wallace Hotel and you’ll never regret it, we promise. This hotel is one of the most luxurious New York boutique hotels near Central Park. It’s located on The Upper West Side, this extravagant residential area with high-end boutiques and stunning houses here and there. The hotel looks nothing different from the surroundings as it’s one of the most elegant hotels we stayed in. Think artistic furniture, sophisticated details, and whimsical lighting all with golden steel inlays that give the hotel a unique style.
This marvelous hotel isn’t the largest, yet our stay was super intimate and comfortable. The suites are wide, we enjoyed the extra space in our suite a lot. What’s more, the staff were super friendly. They made our stay much more enjoyable. The hotel included a bar, a fitness center, and paid private parking. We asked the staff about other facilities such as restaurants and coffee shops, and they recommended great nearby locations.

Fasano Fifth Avenue

Fasano Fifth Avenue is a unique stay with an eclectic style. This hotel has Brazilian origins. It started in Brazil and then opened several branches in Brazil and Uruguay. Now, it’s open in New York overlooking Central Park. A French designer designed the hotel, so, it boasts a mixture of cultures. The furniture looked new but classy. The restaurant was elegant and even the Jazz bar was more of a chic concert venue.
We had different accommodation options either suites or apartments. Some of which have a panoramic view of the park, these were marvelous. As a boutique hotel, there are no traditional rooms. All of the accommodation options are spacious. The overall service was impeccable and professionalism highlighted the attitude there. It isn’t just a hotel, it’s a place where people can belong to. They hold events now and then, you can learn more about these events from the official website.

Best location. Looking for budget-friendly boutique hotels near Central Park NYC? The answer is CIVILIAN Hotel. This hotel is the best we could find in this category. It isn’t as expensive as other boutique hotels, however, we had the same intimate experience there. The staff were so friendly, they handled all our requests very professionally. We wanted a quiet room and they offered us the quietest room in the hotel.
Speaking of it, the hotel has a great location in Manhattan. It’s very close to Central Park and Times Square. At the same time, it’s located on a calm street away from the hustle and bustle of Broadway theatres and Times Square. We’re willing to come back to enjoy the location. As for the rooms, they were comfy but not as spacious as the previous hotel. Yet, we felt very comfy in our room. We didn’t need the extra space as there was a luggage storage space. The room had no refrigerator or kitchen equipment, if these are essentials for you, you better check this list of the best hotels with kitchens in New York City.

The Blakely by LuxUrban

The Blakely by LuxUrban is one of the vintage hotels with a unique atmosphere in NYC. It looks old but it isn’t outdated. The bathroom had all the modern facilities we usually have in any modern hotel. Also, they provided us with all the toiletries we needed during our stay. The room had a seating area aside from the beds in addition to a working desk. There was a minibar and a microwave as well. There isn’t an on-site restaurant, so, make sure to have a list of nearby eateries and restaurants.
What’s more, the vintage style of the hotel gave it a kind of historical vibe. At this location, near Central Park, most of the hotels are modern. We didn’t expect to find any historical venues. This hotel offered something different, that’s why it’s so unique. Above all, the lounge area looked like it just came out of a 90s film. There was too much to enjoy there.

The Pierre

The sense of serenity we felt at The Pierre is incomparable to any other hotel. It’s the true meaning of a boutique hotel where everyone is doing his best to make the guests feel at ease. We felt like we were staying at our second home. The staff were super friendly and humane. They were keen on asking us if we needed anything all the time without being intrusive. We loved their way of dealing with each guest as if he was the only guest at the hotel.
We booked a standard room with a park view. It was stunning even though we didn’t stay on a higher floor. Our room included all the high-end amenities we were looking for and many more. The cherry on top was the pet-friendly rooms. We seldom find such luxurious hotels that allow pets. The airport shuttle rounded up the facilities there. Also, don’t forget to indulge in mouth-watering dishes at the Perrine restaurant.

The highlight of the 1 Hotel Central Park is the eco-friendly design. You can notice this from the greenery exterior design. They’re sustainability-certified and they hold many events regarding this issue. You can check their events calendar on the official website here. Apart from that, the hotel is nestled in a brilliant location close to Central Park and other iconic landmarks in the area. You can choose a park-view room from the different rooms and suites available.
We had a spacious suite with a park view. The view from the window was marvelous. One of the standout features is that they care a lot about wellness. Thus, they have a huge wellness center where guests can enjoy daily workouts at the premises. They can also offer yoga mats in the rooms upon request. The on-site gym isn’t a regular gym to sore the muscles. We attended several classes there and the fitness instructors were very professional. Best of all, we could accompany our furry pet friend in our room.

Offering a quiet serene ambiance, the MADE Hotel is one of the best boutique hotels in NYC. This stunning hotel has amazing rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows offering wide views of the park. It also boasts a calming environment whether in the rooms or the shared lounge. We loved the simple furnishing of the room. It doesn’t have too many pieces, just the essentials. This offered much space in our small room.
One of the heavenly things we enjoyed was spending time at the Good Behavior Lounge. It lies on the 18th floor offering great views of the park and the surrounding neighborhood. Moreover, there was another coffee shop where we enjoyed our morning coffee and some delights. Rounding up the facilities and amenities is the private parking. We felt like we had many things at a very good price. That’s why it’s one of the best boutique hotels near Central Park NYC.

Hotel Elysee

Most friendly staff. Hotel Elysee is a very chic hotel that took us back in time. It’s a lovely hotel that looks historic. The French Country style makes it unique to other hotels in this area. We had a large bed, a wooden dining table, chairs, and a comfy couch inside our room. The terrace was wide where they placed real plants. In addition, the marble bathroom wasn’t huge but it was convenient. Everything inside strikes a balance between convenience and elegance.
What’s more, the staff were very friendly. They were smiling all the time. The housekeeping staff did their job perfectly. They cleaned our room every morning at the same time. The room and bathroom were spotless every day. Further, we enjoyed the refreshments offered in the bar, especially during the cocktail hour. The 2nd floor has a small area for breakfast, snacks, and drinks. This was our everyday spot to chill out.

Hotel Scherman

Best overall. Our favorite option so far is Hotel Scherman. Though it isn’t the closest to Central Park, it has a great location in Midtown Manhattan. This area is the best in our opinion as it’s cheaper than the Upper East and West. Yet, it has similar features considering the location and facilities. The hotel boasts a simple design with modernly-designed furniture, it looks so elegant. Above all, we enjoyed the terrace seating which offered a view of the bustling Manhattan.
Looking for food options? You’re in the perfect location. This area has lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and many other interesting places within walkable distances. Even more, the Times Square and Broadway theaters are too close. You might ask why we consider this the best boutique hotel around the park. It’s also one of the best boutiques in New York. Simply, it offers everything we need at a very affordable price. It’s very comfortable and cozy. That’s why it’s very common among travelers.
“Good-sized rooms, professional staff, great location, and good breakfast. What else could we ask for at this price in Manhattan? We found the best accommodation.”
