Escapes! A Ramada by Wyndham
11
The Escapes! A Ramada by Wyndham is the all-around best hotel in Orange Beach, AL. It has everything we want when we think about a seaside escape. From the ideal location, fantastic facilities and amenities, and not to mention top-notch services.
When we first stepped into the hotel, we were pleased by how refreshingly tropical the whole compound is. The area was surrounded by palm trees and an all-around layback vibe. Furthermore, the guestrooms here truly made a highlight of our trip. We had the opportunity to stay in one of the hotel’s ocean-facing rooms, complete with a spacious private balcony and a fully equipped kitchenette. What’s more, the guestrooms here are so humongous you could fill your whole family with space to spare. So, if you’re planning for a big family getaway, you know which hotel to stay at.
That said, when it comes to on-site facilities, we couldn’t be more satisfied. For starters, the beach is practically at our doorstep. Plus, the hotel also has two pools, a fitness center, and on-site restaurants.
When we wanted to explore the area, the hotel’s concierge was very helpful in recommending every Orange Beach specialty. And since the hotel is strategically located at Perdido Beach Boulevard, we had all sorts of attractions within walking distance. We had a great time visiting Adventure Island and restaurant hopping. We only had to pop on our fanciest sunglasses, and we were all set for an amazing exploration!

Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach

Best location. Hilton Green Inn Orange Beach is yet another great beach hotel that’s located on the lively Perdido Beach Boulevard. Such an ideal location alone is already a good enough reason for us to include this hotel in this list. Other than the fact that it’s part of the Hilton Group (thus guaranteeing its quality), this hotel also brought us so much joy when we stayed here.
For starters, the hotel’s pet-friendly policy made it lots easier to travel with our furry friend. And the hotel itself is also such a lovely place to stay at. Its pristine lobby, modern decor, and yellow-green-blue color themes made the hotel feel refreshing under the Orange Beach sun.
The direct access to the beach is obviously one of the hotel’s highlights, but there were also other facilities that kept us busy throughout our stay. The pool, for instance, gave a nice alternative to the beach, and not to mention we could also get various cocktails delivered directly from the hotel’s bars. Other than that, there was also an on-site snack bar, a restaurant, and a fitness center. Guestrooms-wise, we got the ocean-view room with a balcony, which only adds to our beach vacation experience. All in all, we only have high praises when it comes to Hilton Green Inn Orange Beach.

Admirals Quarters

Best value for money. The Admirals Quarters is undoubtedly the budget hotel in Orange Beach that we have on this list. Located right on the Gulf of Mexico, this hotel offered us the perfect accommodation for our big group. With apartment-style guestrooms, the hotel has rooms big enough for up to 10 guests. To top it off, all rooms are also equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen and a huge balcony.
Moreover, the hotel also has our back when it comes to its on-site facilities. They have a beachside pool, an indoor pool, a sauna room, a jacuzzi, and a fitness center. So we really had our days filled in with all of these. Not to forget, the hotel is also directly by the beach, and we loved how we could just hop in and out of the water whenever we wanted. Plus, the hotel got some BBQ equipment, which we had the opportunity to use for our fun family gathering. Overall, if you want to have as much fun as we did while in Orange Beach, just do yourself a favor and check out the Admirals Quarters.
“Honestly getting all of these amazing amanities and services with such a steep price were probably the highlight of our whole trip! Nothing beats vacationing like royals when it doesn’t hurt the bank account too much.”

Bluewater by Vacasa

While at Orange Beach, AL, we always thought that bigger is better, and that’s why we included the Bluewater by Vacasa on this list. When we found out that Bluewater is a condo-style beachfront hotel, the first thing that came to mind was spacious guestrooms brimming with amenities and all sorts of on-site facilities. So if those things are on your list when looking for a hotel, then, Bluewater is the beachfront hotel in Orange Beach, AL, that you should check out.
Located smack dabbed in the center of Orange Beach, the Bluewater gave us an experience that left a mark (a good one at that!). The sleek-looking high-rise hotel doesn’t only look luxurious from the outside, but the inside also delivers the same vibe. From the modern tropical decor to the facilities, we were very pleased with what the hotel provided for us.
Our days here would start with sipping coffee from our private balcony. Then, depending on our mood, we would head straight to either the beach or the pool. For extra indulgence, we would spend hours just lounging at the jacuzzi with a nice cocktail on our hands. And honestly, who could resist when the ocean is there to accompany us? That said, we do sometimes head to the hotel’s fitness center after some over-indulgence at the local restaurants. After all, everything’s fair when you’re on vacation. So that’s why, Bluewater would be an amazing hotel option when you come to Orange Beach, AL.

Seaside Beach and Racquet Club

Best hotel for families. Just like its name, the Seaside Beach and Racquet Club is located just by the seaside of Orange Beach. Which is honestly all we wanted when vacationing at Orange Beach. That said, the hotel’s selling point isn’t only its location.
At Seaside Beach & Racquet Club, we had a plethora of exciting resort activities to do. When we weren’t burying our feet into the sand and soaking up the rays, we were swimming in the beachside pool. This is also a huge hit with the kids, as there’s also an indoor pool for when they can’t take the heat. Not only that, but the hotel’s multiple tennis courts also had us playing some casual rounds when doing regular exercise at the fitness center feels a bit mundane. Now, for a real adventure, we tried fishing at the gulf and had our catch grilled using the hotel’s BBQ facilities. After an exciting day under the sun, we found that the onsite sauna really helped us relax and rejuvenate.
Furthermore, when it comes to the guestrooms, the hotel has options from a one-bedroom condo to a three-bedroom condo. In our case, we got the ocean view one-bedroom condo, which we immensely love. Not only that we get to spend our mornings drinking in the view from our balcony, but the in-room amenities only made us want to stay even longer. The hotel truly made us feel like were home while being away from home.

Sleep Inn on the Beach

The Hotel, Sleep Inn ‘On the Beach,‘ lived up to its name, providing convenient beach access for a delightful tropical getaway. The short 5-minute walk to the beach made it easy to enjoy the shore, and the hotel’s outdoor pool offered a great alternative when the beach was crowded. The sun loungers are definitely the go-to destination. We were the epitome of a beach holiday, holding a handcrafted cocktail in one hand while donning our best sun hats.
The nearby promenade featured plenty of shops, enhancing our shopping experience. The Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum, as well as the Orange Beach Art Center, were less than a five-minute drive away, offering interesting attractions when we wanted a break.
Dining options were abundant, with numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Our beach-view room was both comfortable and tastefully decorated, making it hard to leave the cozy bed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was delicious, even though we almost overindulged. In summary, our stay at the Sleep Inn ‘On the Beach’ was a highly positive experience, one we would gladly repeat in the future.

Simple, roomy, exquisite. Staying in Holiday Inn Orange Beach was an experience that we would not soon forget. Checking in on the beachfront hotel, we were greeted by an adherence to minimalism and modernism that is both relaxing and comforting. The decor and furnishing are eye-catching but not in a garish way, complimenting the modern look of the hotel.
Greeted by friendly staff members, we started our day by relaxing on the beach, made a lot more convenient and easy when the beach is but a minute’s walk away. The visit to the poolside bar later that evening made sure that the day would be one that is fondly remembered.
Moreover, this beachfront hotel in Orange Beach, AL, is certainly not lacking in amenities, with a gym and even washing machines on site to cater to our every need. And for the hangover the day after, there’s nothing else like a hearty breakfast, and the hotel certainly delivers, with our personal favorite being the pancake machine.
Even with a packed itinerary and too many attractions in the surrounding area, staying in the Holiday Inn remains one of the memories that stick with me.

Hampton Inn and Suites – Orange Beach

An often overlooked part of a hotel’s service is the parking. Nothing ruins a holiday more than having to find a spot to park when the kids are being rowdy in the back, wanting to swim. Luckily for me and my family, Hampton Inn and Suites – Orange Beach provided ample and free parking, making it one less thing to worry about during our holiday.
We also loved the studio room, and it was so roomy that even with two kids, it didn’t feel cramped at all. The view of the beach right on our doorsteps was also really nice. Having laundry facilities on site helped us immensely when the little fussy eaters made a mess when they ate breakfast. The gym certainly made it easy to sell to my partner that we just had to stay in the Hampton Inn & Suites when she was in one of her fitness moods. Luckily, somehow, suntanning in the beach lounger counts as calorie-burning to them. Furthermore, the kids loved the breakfast waffle, and there’s certainly not a lack of options for the adults either.
The staff was also really kind and understanding whenever the kids got a little bit rowdy, even helping us connect to the Wi-Fi when we couldn’t just seem to connect to it! All in all, the Hampton Inn & Suites is definitely one of the best beach hotels in Orange Beach for families!

Best Western Premier – The Tides

When the first thing that greeted us in the reception was already of such quality, we knew that it was the correct choice to spend our holiday in the Best Western Premier Hotel. The open room plan and large windows offered a tantalizing view of the great holiday experience ahead.
Spending the day lounging on the beach and then spending the night barbecuing was the highlight of our day, the hotel offered the full experience of a tropical holiday. White sandy beach, clear skies, and great food, the quality service was simply the cherry on top.
A hearty buffet breakfast made sure that we didn’t lack the energy to start the day, with many options to choose from. The bar was also well-stocked, and the deli had some great food available. Moreover, the nearby nature walk allowed us to burn calories when we were looking for an outdoor thing to do when exercising at the gym became stale or was too packed with people. That said, the bike rental sure came in handy.
Overall, the room was great, the service was phenomenal, and our stay in Best Western Premier Hotel – The Tides was one to remember.

The Island House Hotel, a Doubletree by Hilton
2
The Island House Hotel is definitely the beachfront hotel in Orange Beach, AL, that I would recommend to friends. While not exactly the most descriptive impression, the first thing I thought of when we arrived at the hotel was – clean. Perhaps it was the mostly white decor, or the paint, with splashes of colors brightening every room. Perhaps it was no surprise that we found out later that the Hotel provides proposal services. It does make for a very good Instagram picture.
Of course, that’s not all to it. The hotel looked very family-friendly, with, thankfully, a separate kiddie pool and fenced-in pool. Also, having an in-house restaurant comes in really handy when we lose track of time having fun on the white sandy beach. The hotel provides full amenities for any activity that we want to do. Having a laundry service and gym both made our stay really convenient, with the hotel seeming to have everything we could’ve wanted.
There was also a bevy of options when we got hungry. While breakfast is not free, the price we paid was bang for our buck. The café and bar came in clutch for those early days or late nights, and vice versa.

Perdido Beach Resort

Overall best and most romantic hotel. Now this is what we’d like to call an overkill of a luxurious beachfront hotel. At Perdido Beach Resort, we expect to get the height of opulence, and that’s precisely what we got. With miles of sandy beaches stretching along the hotel, our vacation was filled with hours of infinite fun under the sun. It surely helps that the hotel provides sun umbrellas so we still could enjoy the beach without fearing getting sunburnt.
The private beach is, without a doubt, the highlight of our stay, but Perdido Beach Resort also has tons of other features worth mentioning. From their three swimming pools to their state-of-the-art fitness center, five dining options, and not to mention the various beach/ocean activities they offer got us busied throughout our stay. We really couldn’t pick between parasailing, a dolphin cruise, or going fishing. So just a tip from us, when you stay here, make sure it’s not just for the weekend. However, if you do find yourself here for a weekend, make sure to check out their Saturday Yoga classes for a more immersive experience.
All in all, we found that whether we stay here for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or just for a personal break, the hotel is perfect for all three. For families, the hotel has all the family-friendly facilities, like family rooms and kiddy pools. As for couples, the hotel isn’t lacking in romantic gestures either, from a scenic cruise ship dinner to the typical romantic beach walks. And if you’re here to relieve yourself from everyday hectics, then literally the whole hotel can be your playground.
