LULULEMON Wunder Train Hi-Rise Tight
13
LULULEMON is a game changer in the area of yoga pants. LULULEMON Wunder Train Hi-Rise Tight was our first encounter with this professional brand. Once we received the pants and got to touch the fabrics, we knew that we were after a top-quality brand that runs after durability and longevity. Pay once for these pants and wear them daily with no worries about pilling or lint. Yoga exercises need special pants with acceptable compression without being too tight. Also, they have to be soft and breathable; these were the features we found in the Wunder Train Tights. Different sizes are available from these pants, but we recommend you check the main size chart of LULULEMON itself to know your exact size. If you’re interested in this amazing brand, check out our list of the best LULULEMON leggings for women.

LULULEMON Align Hi-Rise Pants
12
LULULEMON Align Hi-Rise Pants are one of the popular pants of LULULEMON that most women who know LULULEMON would go for. These pants are a bit pricey compared to similar pants from other brands. However, you’re paying for quality. The pants aren’t traditional polyester or nylon that loosens or wears out after a couple of uses. Instead, it’s made of Nulu fabrics with a percentage of added lycra for stretchability. There aren’t many colors of these pants, but the available ones were enough for us to pick from. The pants felt like a second skin layer as they were too lightweight with suitable compression. The stretchability was just as we wanted for yoga, whereas the fit was suitable for regular sizes. To know more about the features, check out the official website of LULULEMON here.
Pros
- The quality is beyond perfect
- The waistband is smooth and comfortable
- There is a hidden waistband pocket
Cons
- They don’t suit tall or plus-size women

GAYHAY Leggings with Pockets
11
What’s better than a very comfortable pair of leggings for yoga? This is what GAYHAY Leggings with Pockets offered us from the first moment we wore them, even before hitting the yoga class. These pants are so soft and breathable that we don’t even feel them on our bodies. We would always choose them when it gets too hot or when it’s time to do hot yoga. Here is a list of the best pants for hot yoga if you want to try this type of workout.
We could choose from two options, full-length and capris. Both were appealing to us, and the available colors in both cases were also acceptable. The capris options have more patterns, so they were our best choice. We love to look unique and wear something different from the traditional thing. Overall, these pants have all the features we were looking for, especially the moisture-wicking and quick-dry features.
Pros
- The pants are top-quality
- There are full-length and capris options
- There are options for plus sizes
Cons
- There are some issues with the sizing

Amazon Essentials Women Yoga Leggings
10
Amazon Essentials is one of the very practical options and affordable brands we always find what we’re looking for in. Amazon Essentials Women Yoga Leggings are traditional yoga bottomwear with side pockets and suitable material for working out. But what made them earn a rank in our list is a set of features we were after in the new yoga pants we wanted to buy. First, they didn’t cost us much, although they’re considered very good quality. As with most Amazon Essentials garments, the price is always affordable. Next, the prints and patterns are different. They aren’t the typical solid-colored leggings. Instead, there are different prints and patterns. Further, the fabrics are stretchable, thick enough, and comfortable. So, these pants nearly checked all the boxes.
Pros
- The price is very affordable
- There are two large side pockets
- There are different prints
Cons
- The pants don’t offer much compression

HOFI Yoga Capri Leggings
9
HOFI Yoga Capri Leggings are available in full-length or capris styles to choose from according to how much leg you want to show. Whatever option you choose, both are very comfortable for yoga. The material is composed of polyester and spandex, but what’s different here is the cooling ability. There is an added feature, namely, the cooling feature, where the pants are able to cool down your body after intensive workouts. As for the fit, these pants aren’t tight-fit. If this is what you seek, you might need to size down. As for the waistband, it’s wide and tummy-controlling. The side pockets were also too much appreciated in these pants. There is another hidden pocket as well, and the seams are all lock-stitched. Thus, we weren’t irritated with the inside-pocket seams.
“The cooling material is what we were looking for and finally we found it. These pants are a staple in our yoga closet now. We think we won’t switch to other pants any near.”
WOW Travel
Pros
- The material is very cooling
- There are different length options
- They control the tummy
Cons
- The pants run a bit large

Carhartt Force-Fitted Utility Leggings
8
Best quality. Carhartt Force Fitted Utility Leggings are great for those looking for a multi-functioning pair of pants. These pants look so chic that you can actually wear them on other occasions rather than exercising. The cut looks flattering as it doesn’t fit tight or loose. There are two options for each size, one for regular sizes and the other for tall women. If you’re looking for tall women’s yoga pants, check them out here. We wore these pants in hot weather, and we were so comfortable and never smelt any sweat. As yoga pants, the material has the ability to wick away moisture in seconds. Also, this material is made to stretch as much as possible but retains its shape. This YouTube video review from Adventure Rig allows you to get a closer look at the pants and its features.
Pros
- The pants’ cut is very chic and flattering
- There is an option for tall women and another option for regular fits
- The material is high-quality
Cons
- The waistband fits wide for some women

Syrinx High-Waisted Leggings
7
Without a doubt, Syrinx High Waisted Leggings are the cheapest pants we tried so far. At less than $10, we got a pair of wonderful yoga pants that did the job and made us feel amazing in our yoga class. Made of polyester and spandex, the pants have the right amount of stretch. In addition, they wick away moisture in an effective way. So, wear them comfortably in the hottest weather. The pants have a wide waistband that stays still in place no matter how intense your workout. Overall, the size was good, but there weren’t many sizes, so these pants might run large or small on some women. Fitting isn’t the best here. Rather than that, these pants are one of our favorites. We could even get a pack of three pants together in different colors to mix and match with different tops.
Pros
- The price is cheap
- The material is good, considering the price
- They’re soft and suitable for hot weather
Cons
- The pants aren’t snug-fit

Conceited High Waist Leggings
6
Conceited High Waist Leggings are very soft leggings we would always choose when it’s too hot and we don’t want any itchiness on our skin. The price is another reason to choose these pants. They’re one of the cheapest, yet not the lowest in quality at all. We couldn’t find a difference between those and other pants at higher prices in terms of longevity, durability, and comfort. There are many more reasons to go for these pants. The waistband, for example, was one of the best things in these pants. It’s wide enough to hide all the belly fat and imperfections we don’t like. Since these pants weren’t expensive, we could pick more than one pair to try. We went for a dark color and another more summerish color to see how thick the material is. Luckily, both weren’t see-through.
Pros
- They’re very affordable
- There are plus-size options
- The material is buttery soft
Cons
- They don’t have enough compression

Yogipace High Waisted Extra Long Yoga Leggings
5
Best for tall women. If you consider yourself a tall woman, Yogipace High Waisted Extra Long Yoga Leggings are the best option for you. These pants are available in several inseam options, so you’ll surely find a suitable length for you. Conversely, shorter women should consider choosing the shortest length, although it might still be long for some women. So, we don’t recommend these pants if you’re too short. The pants have wide waistbands that never rolled down or dug into our bodies.
They were so comfortable, and we didn’t see any sweat stains as well. The stretchability was good, and just as we needed it, the crotch gusset was double-layered. It was one of the comfiest leggings we ever tried. The pants are slightly pricier than other options we tried, so we expected higher quality or extra features. Yet, the material wasn’t the best from our point of view.
Pros
- They’re suitable for tall women
- The pants are very comfortable
- The waistband is wide enough
Cons
- The pants don’t last for long

PHISOCKAT High Waist Yoga Pants
4
We are one of those women who want to go light and never carry a gym bag to a yoga class. Thus, we appreciate yoga pants with side pockets a lot. PHISOCKAT High Waist Yoga Pants satisfied this need and went the extra mile by offering three pockets instead of two, where one of them was a hidden waistband pocket for small items like a key. The two side pockets are larger for a wallet and a mobile phone. Thus, we never need a bag.
Apart from this feature, we didn’t compensate for good quality, breathability, stretchability, and a flattering shape. These pants did offer the stretchability and soft, breathable material we were looking for. However, the largest sizes were slightly tight. We might consider sizing up for more comfort. As a side note, we love brands that offer a variety of colors so we can look unique in what we’re wearing. These pants were one of those offering a large number of colors.
Pros
- The pants are very affordable
- They come with three pockets
- They shape the body in a flattering way
Cons
- Some women have to size up

Ewedoos Fleece Lined Leggings
3
Best for winter. Ewedoos Fleece Lined Leggings are the best yoga pants for cold weather as they have an internal fleece lining that feels soft and warm when it gets cold. We know that people usually sweat when doing intensive exercises, even during cold weather. However, we still need a thicker fabric for cold weather that doesn’t trap sweat. We found this in Ewedoos leggings. Similar to most yoga pants, these leggings are stretchable with stretchable side pockets. The pockets contained our mobile phones with no issues, so the size was appropriate. Since the material was thicker than traditional polyester, we were sure the pants wouldn’t be see-through, and our expectations were true. Even the lightest colors weren’t see-through at all, and this was perfect.
Pros
- The material is buttery soft
- There are colorful options for these pants
- The waistband is tummy-controlling
Cons
- The material might pill

CRZ YOGA Naked Feeling Yoga Pants
2
Best for breathability. What do you think of playing yoga with no pants at all? In terms of breathability and moisture-wicking, we think this would be perfect. So, CRZ YOGA Naked Feeling Yoga Pants give you this feeling of a very soft and thin material that feels like a second layer on your skin. Or, actually, it feels like nothing; you will practice yoga while allowing your skin to breathe normally as if you aren’t wearing any pants. Before trying these pants, we were afraid that such a thin material would be very see-through. Surprisingly, the pants weren’t see-through at all, and we tried several colors and patterns to make sure of this. And speaking of colors and patterns, these pants have one of the widest variety of colors ever. You can also read more about the features and check some reviews on CRZ YOGA’s official website.
Pros
- The pants are very soft on the skin
- There are many colors and patterns
- They’re so comfortable for different exercises
Cons
- The pants stretch a lot

Colorfulkoala High Waisted Yoga Pants
1
As the name suggests, Colorfulkoala High Waisted Yoga Pants offer a wide variety of color options, but we got lost in these too many options. Think of any color you prefer; you’ll find it available from Colorfulkoala. Aside from the colors, the stretch was just enough for us to comfortably do our preferred yoga poses without feeling the pants tight around our legs or our waists. Stretchability is something we always look for, and it’s usually available in most yoga pants, but stretchability with a soft material that isn’t see-through is what we were exactly looking for. Luckily, Colorfulkoala pants met our needs. Moreover, the waistband did control the tummy and flattered this area in a nice way. Above all, the price was less than what we actually expected. No wonder it’s one of the top-rated pants on Amazon.
Pros
- The pants are so comfy and stretchable
- They’re available in a wide range of colors
- They fit very well
- The waistband is wide and flattering
Cons
- You might experience some pilling issues

How To Choose The Best Yoga Pants for Women?
We know how confusing it is to choose a single pair of leggings for yoga. We were confused with the many options we found on the market. Thus, we had to have a list of criteria upon which we assessed and tested different pants. Here are the criteria and features we looked for to prepare this list.
Material
Sportswear is usually made of special materials such as polyester and nylon. These materials are moisture-wicking and lightweight, making you feel comfortable doing sports. We tried to choose the pants made of high-quality polyester with a degree of stretchable material such as spandex so the pants don’t feel too snug. Further, breathability was very important for us. Yoga pants shouldn’t be so lightweight that they become see-through and also not too thick that your skin can’t breathe.
Size and fit
You can easily know your size from the size chart of each brand. However, what makes a difference here is the length and how tight the pants are. Most yoga pants come in different inseam lengths. This is the length from the crotch part to the end of the leg. Shorter pants are named capris, and longer ones are named 7/8 pants. On the other side, there are full-length leggings. There is nothing better than the other; it’s all about what you prefer. The idea is to take care of the length you’re choosing and whether it’ll fit your own body measures or not.
Waist style
Leggings are either high-waist or normal-waist rise. We prefer high-waist styles because they can flatter the tummy and make us look slimmer. Also, they’re more comfortable when doing yoga, provided that the waistband doesn’t roll down. Yet, we had to make sure that the pants we chose weren’t too tight around the waist.
What does 23′, 25′, and 28′ length stand for?
These are different lengths of inseams; in other words, the distance from the crotch to the cuff is either 23, 25, or 28 inches.
Can I wear any leggings for yoga?
Tight and stretchable pants are named leggings, whether they’re sports leggings or casual ones. So, not all leggings are suitable for yoga. You need to choose the ones made of sports materials such as polyester or nylon.
Should I go for yoga leggings or flared pants?
Both are good and comfortable for yoga. You can choose whatever style makes you comfortable and flattered.
