The Iroquois New York Times Square is the perfect option to explore the magnificence of New York. It’s located a few meters away from Times Square. Everything was within walking distance. Also, public transportation and taxis are available nearby. We didn’t have to arrange private cars or any transportation means ahead of time. Despite this vibrant location, the street was quiet and we could enjoy a good night’s sleep.

The hotel’s building looks classy. The rooms are similarly classy with brown wooden furniture that enhances the classical design. Our room overlooked the street. The window was large, offering a wide view of the neighborhood. There were many things to do around. The staff helped us to discover wonderful spots and tours to enjoy nearby. Courtyard New York Manhattan

Courtyard New York Manhattan is one of our top choices when we’re up to a good location and good services. Whether a group or a solo traveler, you’ll find a comfy room with all the needed facilities. All the rooms and suites at the hotel are equipped with a flat TV screen, an iPod docking station, and a coffee maker. The room has modern furnishing and the bathroom looks modern as well. We had a room with the Empire State Building view. It was a spacious room with a wide bathroom as well.

Although it isn’t a 5-star hotel in this area, the services were up to the standards. We requested extra towels and toiletries and we had our request replied to within minutes. Moreover, there was a 24-hour fitness center with modern equipment and machines where we could have our daily workouts. The cafe also serves nicely brewed coffee. We had our morning caffeine dose at this cafe every day.

The Gotham Hotel

The Gotham Hotel is one of the few hotels in Manhattan that offers rooms with large balconies. Most hotels in this area are small with small terraces or windows. Our room in this hotel was completely different. It had a wide balcony with comfortable chairs and a small table. We enjoyed late-night talks on this balcony. In the morning, we preferred to have our coffee on the shared balcony on the higher floor. It was wider offering a panoramic view.
Apart from the balcony, the room was super comfortable. It was one of the comfiest beds we ever slept in while visiting NY. Similar to the terrace, the room was also spacious. It included a working desk, a minibar, and a small wardrobe for hanging clothes. We had premium quality toiletries among the amenities they offered. Moreover, we had free Wi-Fi and access to a nearby professional gym.

The Chatwal

Best services. The Chatwal is one of the best small hotels near Times Square. This hotel is elegant. It has around 29 suites with an exquisite design to make the guests enjoy a luxurious stay. Each suite has a lovely terrace with comfy seating. Besides, the rooms also have comfy seating areas and beds. We learned from the staff that the hotel wasn’t new. Yet, it was renewed recently. That explains why it looks like a blend of contemporary and classy styles.

The hotel is very famous here in Manhattan. It has an ideal location at the heart of the city. Our stay there was full of entertainment options and luxurious treatment. We dined at the restaurant and spent the night at The Lambs Club. We also had a professional massage session in the professional spa there. Merrion Row

We found comfort at the Merrion Row, not far away from Times Square. It offers much more than the location. Enjoy a clever-designed room with all the furniture and equipment you need in a humble room that doesn’t feel stacked. Besides, we had a sofa in our room. It was large and comfortable. We sometimes napped on this sofa.
After a busy day roaming in Manhattan, it was time to unwind and sip a refreshing drink. What’s a better place than the Public House Irish pub inside the hotel? This restaurant and bar offers a wide selection of drinks and delights. Also, there are delicious hot meals, find out more about the restaurant on the hotel’s website. Traveling for business? No worries, this hotel has a full-service business center. They also provide free Wi-Fi. We used the airport shuttle to free our minds from the hassle of calling a taxi to and from the airport.

The Knickerbocker

The Knickerbocker is one of the most stylish boutique hotels in NYC near Times Square. It’s a historic hotel with a unique style that took our accommodation to the next level. The bold architecture, warm lighting, and wooden furniture created this unique aesthetic. Our room was very inviting and the view was incredible. However, the comfort level we enjoyed was the most pleasing thing for us. The bed and pillows were plush and soft inviting you not to leave the bed.

Aside from the room, we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant. It offers wonderful views of the city. Plus, the drinks were out of this world. We also tried steak and it was very tender. The hotel looked classy, yet, everything there was state-of-the-art. It’s an amazing blend of classiness and modernness. All these features made it one of the best high-end boutique hotels in Manhattan.

CIVILIAN Hotel

Best price. The highlight of our stay at the CIVILIAN Hotel was quietness. The venue is located in a perfect location, close to Times Square, yet, it’s quiet enough to enjoy a calm night. We had to walk a few meters to reach the main street where taxis are available 24/7. Plus, we felt safe in this area. Another feature that made the hotel one of our favorites is the rate. We could book several nights at the hotel at a great price, cheaper than other similar hotels in the same area

WOW Travel

Our room felt a bit small but it was comfortable. It included a bed, a clothes rack, and a seating space. There was no kitchen or kitchenette but we didn’t need them. The neighborhood is full of restaurants that are worth trying. Further, the bathroom was small but clean. We had bathrobes, towels, and toiletries in the bathroom. This was the most well-planned vacation in Manhattan where we didn’t have to put the biggest share of the budget in the accommodation.

One of the top small hotels near Times Square we enjoyed our stay at was citizenM New York Times Square. This modern hotel offered us a lot though it wasn’t the priciest. Needless to say, the location was ideal, in the middle between Central Park and Times Square. The rooms have a nice city view, whereas the terraces offer an uninterrupted view of the neighborhood. We enjoyed the shared terraces the most.

The room was small and simple. There was nothing fancy in the room but everything was clean and comfortable. We had all the essential amenities of any luxurious hotel. Plus, they serve coffee and tea all the time. We also had a complimentary breakfast that filled our stomachs for a long time during the day. Among the facilities we enjoyed there was the fitness center. It was as modern as everything else in the hotel. However, our favorite place in the hotel was the rooftop bar.

Bryant Park Hotel

Most friendly staff. Whether it’s your first time in Manhattan or you have been there before, Bryant Park Hotel is one of the options you must consider. This boutique hotel offers an unmatched experience. The rooms, bathroom, and lobby are stylish. There is something that distinguishes this hotel from the others. It might be the leather accents used here and there. Anyway, it’s well-decorated and we felt comfortable all our stay.
The staff made our vacation better as they offered help even if we didn’t ask. They were keen on telling us all about the hotel’s facilities to make the best of our stay. We were offered free morning coffee that was freshly brewed every day. We also had a nice tour in Bryant Park where we could unwind before starting our exciting tour in Manhattan. Similar to other hotels nearby, we had free access to the on-site gym and we could have lunch or dinner at the restaurant. They serve delicious Asian food which was nice to try for a change.

Hotel Scherman

Most comfortable. Hotel Scherman is always one of our top choices whenever we come to Manhattan. It isn’t only an ideal boutique hotel but also a great value-for-money accommodation. Apart from the location, we never complained about anything in this hotel. We were always comfortable in our rooms and loved the tasty food offered at the on-site restaurant. Don’t miss out on the complimentary breakfast, it’s always fresh and mouth-watering. You won’t need an afternoon snack with this breakfast.

We stayed in different rooms during several visits. We tried the suite and the king room. Both were very spacious with modern furnishing and comfortable beds. The basic amenities such as a minibar, microwave, and working desk are available in all rooms. Some rooms have a wide terrace or a balcony which was very enjoyable. Rooms without a balcony or terrace have a large window for a good city view. However, we prefer those with balconies although they’re pricier. LUMA Hotel

Modern and clean rooms, this is what you’ll find at LUMA Hotel. This hotel has the most modern-styled rooms we have ever stayed at in Manhattan. The rooms are wider than what we expected. The bed and sofa were so large and plush. We couldn’t be more comfortable. Furthermore, they place a Nespresso machine in each room. Hence, we could enjoy a quality cup of coffee every morning before leaving our room. Such a modern hotel wouldn’t have been the best without mouth-watering food and drinks. Here comes the AperiBar where we could indulge in hot meals and fresh drinks. The complimentary breakfast was a staple. On the other side, dinner was our treatment to ourselves on special days. Be it a pizza, a pasta plate, or a salad, everything there was top-notch. The hotel is keen on delivering a full experience to the guests.

Manhattan has many tourist spots that are worth visiting. While staying in Manhattan, we prefer the areas close to the points of interest. Midtown Manhattan is one of those areas where we could reach Times Square in minutes. This area is larger than what we thought at first. It’s full of hotels, shops, restaurants. Above all, there are subways and bus stops every couple of steps. We can say it’s the easiest place to stay in near Times Square. Also, hotels there come in different prices, so, you’ll surely find something within budget. You can even find good hostels in Times Square.

Other nearby neighborhoods are the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side. Those neighborhoods are on both sides of Central Park. They’re pricier than Midtown Manhattan in terms of hotels and residential buildings. However, they’re quieter and offer more serenity and luxuriousness. There are a couple of worthy hotels and boutique hotels there.
