Oklahoma City, or OKC, is one of the destinations that amazed us in the USA. It was an unexpected, vibrant tourist spot we had underrated before. This busy city has the largest population in its state. It also has a renowned cowboy culture its original people are proud of. We loved this blend and how the city welcomed us whenever we decided to go there. Though it’s full of stays and accommodation venues, we always prefer boutique hotels in Oklahoma City. These relatively small hotels have the same warm and welcoming vibes as the city. There are many things to do in Oklahoma, so it’s better to start preparing for your trip now. The first thing is to guarantee the best hotel. Thus, here is our list of the top boutique hotels we stayed in before in this city.

Sleep Inn & Suites Bricktown
11
The first option we recommend is Sleep Inn & Suites Bricktown Hotel. It’s a pretty hotel with a humble exterior design in the Bricktown area. It boasts the same cowboy-themed style as Oklahoma City. The surrounding area has the friendly, warm spirit of boutique hotels. Whenever we want to stay in this area, we’ll definitely choose this hotel.
In the morning, we had several options for breakfast. Hot drinks were also served, and we got our stomachs full before leaving the venue to explore the area around. The neighborhood had everything we needed, such as supermarkets, shops, restaurants, etc. We didn’t have to take our car, as everything was less than 15 minutes’ walk. Everything inside the hotel, including the rooms and the dining area, was so simple, but we felt very comfortable there.

Comfort Inn & Suites

Comfort Inn & Suites wasn’t the nearest hotel to the city center or the airport. Yet, sometimes, we just wanted a quiet area where we could enjoy our vacation. If you have a car, this would be perfect. You can park it in the free parking lots outside the hotel. We had a standard room with a complimentary breakfast. The room had very comfy beds, a fridge, and a coffee maker. We decided that we would have a suite next time, so we could enjoy a more spacious area.
This hotel is perfect for business travelers. The working desk and chair are so comfortable. The business center is great for work meetings. On the other hand, travelers visiting Oklahoma to unwind can also stay here and enjoy their vacation. The indoor pool is a fantastic place to relax. You won’t have any complaints when you stay here.

Classen Inn

The spirit of the people working at the Classen Inn is similar to the colorful vibes of the place. This was our first impression of this hotel. From the moment we saw our hotel from the outside, we knew that we were up to something unique. Everything is full of colors and life. It seemed like we entered a fantasy world. How creative those people are.
Further, the hotel isn’t only about its amazing decor. Services there were also exceptional. We had snacks and drinks every day in our room. It was so thoughtful of them to offer snacks in the rooms instead of tea and coffee only. Overall, this hotel is amazing in terms of its style and cleanliness. It misses a pool to be a full-service hotel. We have another list of the best hotel pools in Oklahoma City if you insist on having a pool inside the hotel.
“We wanted to stay here at the Classen Inn as rooms are equipped with a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. We love to prepare our meals as we feel more at home this way. This is our definition of boutique hotels. Thumbs up to this lovely boutique Inn”

Garner Hotel

Best value for money. The Garner Hotel‘s building attracted us at first sight. It looks modern and recently renovated. We don’t know if it was just renovated before we stayed there or if it’s usually perfect to meet the standards. Before talking about our room, we must mention that the hotel has free parking, so don’t worry about extra money for on-site parking.
Complimentary to our stay, we had WiFi access, an indoor swimming pool, and access to a business center. We also received a hot breakfast every morning in the dining area. All of these services might seem traditional for boutique hotels in OKC. The key feature here was the rates. We had all the luxurious amenities in a very modern room with new furniture at a very good price.

Wangshi China Palace

Wangshi China Palace is another fantastic boutique hotel in the city. It’s one of a kind. It looks like a Chinese old house but with modern-styled furniture and decor. We promise the highest levels of relaxation and tranquility there. When we wanted to pamper ourselves the most, we used the indoor swimming pool. We wished it had an in-house spa for more stress relief. If you’re searching for spa hotels, check out our list of the best spa hotels in Oklahoma City.
Though the indoor pool was small, it was never crowded. The hotel isn’t large, so it was never busy or full of people. We even felt like we were the only guests there. Quadruple rooms are excellent for groups, especially those with balconies. We loved to have our afternoon drink on the balcony overlooking the garden. Perhaps the best service we had there was the free airport shuttle. Even pricey hotels don’t always consider this service.

Fairfield Inn and Suites

Best location. Fairfield Inn and Suites is close to the airport, so it was our choice for a two-night stay in Oklahoma. Once we stepped inside the hotel, we knew we would have a great stay there. The hotel’s smell is distinctive and implies how they took care of the cleanliness. This hotel is one of Marriot’s hotels, so we expected premium amenities and services. Our expectations came true, given the contemporary rooms and spotless bathrooms.
Meanwhile, the staff wasn’t perfect. They were so professional, and they could arrange to and from airport transportation for us. We had a short stay there, but we could taste their fresh breakfast for two days and try the gym once. We could also try the indoor pool for a few hours on our last day. All in all, this hotel will be our destination whenever we need a middle location between the airport and downtown.

Colcord Hotel

Colcord Hotel is one of the most known and best hotels in Oklahoma. It isn’t a new hotel, but it’s a great one. We stayed there a few years ago, and here we are again in the same hotel, and everything got better. We decided to stay there again because of the hotel’s prime location. It resides in the Business District where we can reach the airport in minutes and the city center in no time. This area is known for its skyscrapers and modern vibes. The hotel is nothing different. We had the best time at Flint restaurant. This on-site restaurant serves hot breakfast and is open for lunch and dinner. We loved their drinks and enjoyed the view of the garden from the restaurant.
Moreover, as we’re used to boutique hotels in OKC, services were beyond our expectations. Our room was designed to serve a business person, including a work desk, comfortable chair, iPod docking station, and speedy free WiFi. However, you’ll also enjoy the personalized services if you’re here for a vacation. You can ask for your delicious breakfast or morning coffee served in your room.

Bradford House

The sense of serenity we had here at Bradford House was unique. The vibes were quiet and calming, and we would stay there for weeks and months without getting bored. It was so relaxing, and everything was designed to complement this tranquil space. Even the music in the garden was chosen to serve the serene vibes of the place. Plus, the colors of the room furniture, including the bathroom, added to the same experience. It was beyond wonderful.
Having breakfast on the terrace every morning was the peaceful moment we waited for to start our day. Then, we had a walk in the neighborhood, which was similarly quiet and safe. This doesn’t mean it was an abandoned space. Instead, the area is full of restaurants, supermarkets, and other services, all within walking distance. However, it was the most quiet and peaceful accommodation we had in Oklahoma City.

Ambassador Hotel

Most friendly staff. The Ambassador Hotel checked all the boxes from the first night we stayed there. We had the warmest welcome once we arrived. There was a valet service, so we didn’t have to worry about our car. The staff were so polite and professional in handling our room requests. Don’t get us wrong, nothing was missing in the room; we just wanted a different view. The facilities and amenities inside the room are flawless. Even the large bathroom had premium toiletries that we wanted to use in our daily lives.
What could we do there? Well, there were lots of things to enjoy at this hotel. Our favorite moments were on the rooftop of O Bar, where the views of the city were amazing. We also love morning laps in the pool and afternoon gym workouts. All of these things were more enjoyable when you could get help once needed.

The National Autograph Collection

How about blending contemporary with classical styles? This is The National Autograph Collection. It’s very close to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. We felt like both venues were designed by the same person, and the hotel is full of artistic touches. Every detail of the decor, from the ceiling to the floor, is so artistic. It’s one of our favorite boutique hotels in Oklahoma City.
We felt the distinction between the lobby and the rooms. The lobby leverages a classy ambiance, whereas the rooms are modern, with high-quality furnishing and amenities inside. The bathroom was so spacious that we think it’s the largest bathroom we have ever had at any hotel. Given its good location, we could entertain ourselves every day outside the hotel and go back at night to enjoy our night bath and rest on our comfy plush beds.

Omni Hotel

Best food. We wanted the luxurious experience of pricey hotels but the friendly and warm service of boutique hotels. Thus, it was Omni Hotel. This hotel has wonderful bars and restaurants on-site. We tasted something different every day. It’s one of the few hotels where we can eat all our meals and snacks on-site. Even the drinks in all the bars were fresh and mouthwatering. Best of all, the spa was so professional. We didn’t relax and feel at ease like this before. It’s a must-visit in this hotel. You can check the service in detail on their official website.
Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. We admired the blue-brown design of the rooms. It looks so chic and modern. The warm lights blended nicely with the decor, creating a lovely harmony that draws you into the room more and more. If you are lucky, like us, and can get a nice view room, you’ll rarely leave it.

Where to Stay in Oklahoma City?
Oklahoma is a huge city offering many accommodation options. Given the distances from our stay to the tourist destinations, it was one of the most difficult cities in the USA to explore. However, some areas are better when it comes to boutique hotels in Oklahoma City.
North of the city and the Northwest are two areas where we could find hundreds of hotels at different rates. Lake Hefiner is the most popular mark there. There are hotels within walking distance of the lake. Further, these areas are too busy, and everything from shops, bars, restaurants, and malls is within walking distance or a few minutes drive.
The other option we admired a lot is near Bricktown. This area is the Downtown of Oklahoma, where we found affordable accommodations. We could also visit the National Museum of the City at any time, as it’s located in the heart of the city center. Bricktown itself is full of entertainment and leisure activities to do.
Finally, if you have a few days to stay here, we recommend one of the closest hotels to Will Rogers World Airport. North of the airport, there are many options at different rates. The transportation makes them very easy to get to and reach. We love hotels that overlook the Oklahoma River the most.
