Not for nothing is Bangalore known as the Silicon Valley of India. The bustling capital of the state of Karnataka has been the epicenter of the country’s ever-growing IT industry. In fact, it was the first city in the country to have tech parks and IT-centric neighborhoods that came up due to their presence. What’s more, the city is filled with opportunities for working professionals from all walks of life, given the number of traditional businesses, start-ups, and offbeat and unique organizations that call the city their home. That’s why even the business hotels in Bangalore are anything but traditional or run-of-the-mill. Besides being located in some of the city’s most strategic locations, they also range across the world’s leading luxury hotel brands and, thus, price ranges.

Gokulam Grand Hotel and Spa
11
Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport is quite far from the city limits. So, finding a business hotel just half an hour from the airport, right on the Outer Ring Road, was a blessing. We’re talking about the Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa, which was formerly the Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore, India’s first Movenpick property. It sat just off Outer Ring Road in the northern suburb of Gokula Extension. So, most of Bangalore’s business hubs in the east and south, as well as the center of the city were easily accessible via the main roads.
One of the best 5 star business hotels in Bangalore, this is one of the very few hotels in the city to have complimentary Wi-Fi in every room. Besides that, they all boasted LCD TVs, integrated media systems, and luxurious bathrooms. The executive club suites were truly great for us business travelers, as we could take advantage of their 24-hour rate system that started the moment we arrived.
However, we were impressed by the amenities, especially the business center, conference rooms, and banquet facilities that were perfect for our work meetings. When we wanted to take a break, the onsite dining options, including the 24-hour My Place restaurant, were a real savior. We even took our business clients to the Obsidian Bar for a drink and wound down in the infinity swimming pool at the end of the day. For those who have more time than we did, there’s even the 12th floor Sohum Spa, with superb views of the city. Did we mention that laundry services and currency exchange was available too? Yep.

The Oberoi Bengaluru

The Oberoi Bengaluru is easily one of Bangalore’s grandest hotels. This grand, greenery-filled retreat in the middle of the city sits right on MG Road, which means that IT parks, tech and corporate parks aren’t far away. Moreover, it’s surrounded by some of the best nightlife in the city, and even the restaurants and bars of Indiranagar and Koramangala aren’t far either.
The Oberoi is famed for having hosted a diverse range of seminars, conferences, and business meetings, which is why we chose to have our corporate retreat here. Its business center, for instance, has a boardroom and three meeting rooms with HD TVs, conference call facilities, multimedia hubs, and adjustable spotlights. The Orchid Hall was perfect for our introductory dining function, while the Bamboo Grove was great for exclusive drinks we’d arranged for our guests from aboard. Moreover, the hotel also has other smaller venues, an outdoor terrace, and even a poolside venue. If that wasn’t enough, the dedicated team and staff take care of everything.
“We loved staying at the lush Oberoi, and it was a very unique and different corporate experience!”
WOW Travel
Swanky rooms and suites aside, the Oberoi has four global cuisine restaurants, a swanky fitness center, an indulgent spa and wellness center, and a fantastic temperature-controlled outdoor pool.

Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa

Best airport hotel. Finding one of the best hotels near Bangalore airport for our convention was very important, since we didn’t want to spend our time traveling for a two-day convention. That’s why we chose the Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa, which had a lot for us to experience and enjoy even after we were done with work. This resort lay on a sprawling 50-acre-huge lush land, supposedly making it Bangalore’s largest hotel complex. The best bit? Kempegowda International Airport was a mere 15 minutes away, and the hotel offered an airport shuttle.
Where in the country would you find a hotel with a corporate event space as massive as 1,77,892 sq ft (16,526 sq. m)? Yeah, you heard that right! This includes a Ocean Convention Center measuring 129,065 sq ft., multiple meeting rooms of all sizes, a ballroom, a dining hall, a courtyard, and even an outdoor Eden Garden measuring a cool 14,000 sq. ft. What’s more, they could all be customized to suit one’s unique requirements, ensuring a successful and seamless event for us.
What made staying here all the more interesting was the wide range of luxurious leisure facilities, the standout being the outdoor swimming pool with a sunken bar. Another pool, three onsite restaurants, cafes, and bars, a tennis court, and a fitness center wrap up the amenities here.

Most luxurious. Staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy One is a great way to stay in absolute luxury near the commercial hub that is MG Road in the middle of the city. It’s also a fantastic location since we wanted to arrange a bit of sightseeing for our colleagues too, and some prime Bengaluru attractions, like Bangalore Palace, the ISKCON temple, and even the Bengaluru Golf Club were nearby.
This Four seasons outpost has an array of 13 flexible and stylish venues, including 6 function rooms, an outdoor patio, and a terrace equipped with a kitchen. So, whether it’s a social celebration with your work colleagues, a retreat, a corporate gala, or a business meeting, the signature Four Seasons touch elevate every gathering. With a total even space of 19,592 sq. ft. (1,821 sq. m), it’s no wonder it’s one of the most popular business hotels in the city to mix business and a bit of pleasure.
What made the entire setting even more relaxed was the fact that the exterior is all about lush green gardens. Elegant rooms with French windows. Six restaurants, and a picturesque pool, complete with a pool bar, complete the picture of perfection.

Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road

Best location. Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road is strategically located in the heart of the IT corridor. In fact, it’s one of the best hotels in Cessna Business Park, Bangalore. What’s more, it’s close to many IT parks and corporate hubs, including the Salarpuria, Prestige, and Ecospace Techparks. If that wasn’t enough, it’s around half an hour from both Whitefield and Electronic City.
With 8 meeting rooms and 8,800 sq. ft (817 sq. m), we had a lot of seamless benefits of hosting our conference event here. The meeting spaces were well-equipped, with the largest room being a massive 2,799 sq. ft-huge with a maximum seating capacity of 300. Not only was our check-in process smooth, but also the staff took care of all our business needs in a very timely manner. Rounding things up was the state-of-the-art equipment in all the meeting rooms, which helped our work wrap up very smoothly.
Besides contemporary rooms and suites, this Marriott outpost boasted four restaurants, a spa and wellness center, and even an outdoor swimming pool with an outdoor terrace. With facilities like a 24-hour front desk, everyday newspapers, currency exchange, dry-cleaning and laundry services, and free Wi-Fi, it’s hard to go wrong with the Novotel ORR.

Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore

Staying right on MG Road for work is one of the best decisions we took, considering our Bangalore offices were there too. That’s why we decided to stay at Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore, a modern lifestyle five-star hotel. Moreover, all shopping and entertainment hubs like UB City, 1 Lido Mall, Commercial Street, and Brigade Road are a stone’s throw from here.
We love the limited but well-designed business facilities here. Aside from a modern business center, the hotel featured two boardrooms, one 2,281 sq. ft-huge with a capacity of 250 people and the larger measuring 2,680 sq. ft with a similar capacity. What’s more, they also are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, courier and secretarial services, scanners and printers, and binding and lamination services.
Since we were staying here, we got to enjoy other facilities at the hotel too. Aside from relishing modern cuisine at the restaurants and taking clients for drinks at the Liquid Bar, we took time off to relax at the outdoor pool and head to the spa for some relaxing massages too.

Sitting right on Outer Ring Road in Marathahalli puts the Radisson Blu Bengaluru Outer Ring Road close to not only Bellandur’s IT parks but also just a 20-minute drive to Whitefield. What’s more, Electronic City and Sarjapur’s IT parks are also just a half-an-hour drive from here. Even Kempegowda International Airport is just an hour, as we got to skirt the inner-city traffic, thanks to our location.
This Radisson Blu outpost was perfect for our convention and business meet-ups. Firstly, they feature a total meeting space of 8,500 sq. ft (790 sq. m). What’s more, they have packages for events of all sizes, big and small. In fact, if booked in 2025 before the end of December for events held before March 31st, 2026, events of all sizes enjoy a lot pf perks. Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield

We come to the IT hub of Whitefield, where Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield is one of the best hotels around, and not just for business. In fact, it’s very popular with weddings, given its unique design and decor that sets it apart from even other hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
However, it does sit in the middle of a business hub, which is why its facilities and amenities are top-notch. The hotel has 9 event and breakout rooms each totaling 20,537 sq ft (1,908 sq m), with the largest space featuring a whopping capacity of 800 people. What’s more, they’re equipped to handle not only meetings and conferences, but also parties and team-building retreats. In fact, their banquet menu is one of the most extensive we’ve seen, and it certainly impressed our guests from out of town. Finally, they even have a Marriott Meeting Services App which allows you to connect with the staff, make requests, and manage event details easily.
The rest of the hotel is equally impressive, with an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, and five restaurants that wind up the amenities.

Where high-flying business deals at the Embassy Golf Links Business Park are involved, it’s best to stick to staying at the Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks, which impresses to the hilt. It sits right next to the Karnataka Golf Association’s 18-hole golf course, in the heart of the business park with tech giants like Microsoft and IBM. This hidden gem of sorts is close to most of the inner-city hubs like Koramangala and Indiranagar, while Whitefield and Electronic City are less than 15 and 20 km away respectively. The airport is longer, but there are arrangements for pickups and drop-offs in style. Of course, since the golf course is involved, the concierge even arranged for our clients to enjoy tee times at the golf course.
The Hilton outpost has 6 meeting rooms and 4,176 sq. feet of meeting space, with the largest room being 2,098 sq. ft in size. What’s more, they allow reserving 10-15 rooms for a group immediately while paying for it later. They even have event hosting packages, including event concierges, which ensured that our work and meetings went off smoothly. If that wasn’t enough, they even allowed creating free custom attendee websites, sharing the link with guests so they could book their rooms, especially in an informal setup.

Taj Yeshwantpur

There’s no list of the best hotels in an Indian city without a Taj in it, right? Welcome to Taj Yeshwantpur, formerly The Vivanta by Taj, which sits in the upcoming business district of Yeshwantpur. The northwestern neighborhood happens to be an older part of traditional Bangalore but is a completely transformed one today. Not only does it sit right on Outer Ring Road, but also this Taj outpost is right next to a metro station. So, while the IT hubs are slightly away, we got to beat the within-city traffic by staying on the Outer Ring Road to get to hubs in Whitefield and Electronic City.
With more than 300 rooms, it’s easily the iconic brand’s largest hotel in the country, making it all the more special. What’s more, there are tons of spacious facilities for banquets, conferences, and meetings of all sorts and sizes measuring more than 18,000 sq ft, one of the largest in the city. If that wasn’t enough, they also have an innovative sustainable solution for eco-conscious brands and companies called “Innergise Green Meetings.” Plus, it goes without saying that their equipment setup, service, and Wi-Fi coverage were impeccable.
What was great about staying at his hotel, even for work, was that it allowed us to relax. Not only were the spacious suites are equipped with slick mod-cons, but also the amenities were top-notch. Three distinctive restaurants catering to a wide variety of cuisines, a ‘Shimmer’-ing bar, and a 24-hour fitness center certainly made our stay more memorable. The cherry, or rather cherries on top, where the stunning swimming pool and the brand’s signature Jiva Spa.

The Leela Palace

Best overall. Sitting at the top of the list is what is called, in its own words, “Garden City’s Only Modern Palace Hotel.” We’re talking about the Leela Palace along the Old HAL Airport Road in Kodihalli in the heart of the city. While Whitefield is 12 km away, Electronic City is less than 20 km from here. Even though Kempegowda International Airport is an hour and a half from here, the hotel does offer two-way airport transfers. Moreover, the new Metro is a mere 10-minute drive away, with additional connections to the city center and everywhere else.
What’s astounding is that the luxurious five-star has nearly 30 rooms, lounges, and spaces for meetings and conferences of any kind. The largest is the 10,000 sq. ft-huge Maharaja Ballroom, but there are multiple boardrooms as well as open terraces for any informal gatherings before or after work. What’s more, the indoor spaces melded old-world aesthetic with modern charm, and it was absolutely surreal sitting in a boardroom with an antique crystal chandelier above our heads. It also made our workdays much saner as compared to usual clinical settings in other places. Of course, the facilities were state-of-the-art and superb.
The other amenities were equally impressive, especially since we had work colleagues from aboard. They were impressed by the Indian fare at Jamavar, the all-day Citrus, and the exciting breakfast spread with a gamut of live stations.

Where to Stay in Bangalore?
Bangalore is a huge, bustling city that’s still expanding its limits, adding not only residential neighborhoods but even IT parks and its surrounding neighborhoods. Since traffic can be a very real problem, the trick is to stay close to where you need to travel for work in the city.
That’s why we begin with Whitefield, a former 90s settlement for Eurasians and home to one of the country’s first IT parks. Set on the eastern fringes of the city, it not only has hotels but also multiple restaurants and bars, educational institutions, hospitals, and shopping avenues. Next, there’s Electronic City in the southeast, a 300-acre-plus neighborhood with multiple phases. Naturally, it’s a city within itself, with hotels, places to dine, etc., with the extremely important Bengaluru-Chennai Highway/Hosur Road running right through it.
When it comes to within-city limits, MG Road is one of the busiest commercial places in the city. Stretching between Halasuru, Ashok Nagar, and Shivaji Nagar, this important boulevard has everything from offices and business hotels to theaters, pubs, retail stores, and even parks. Finally, there’s the stretch of Outer Ring Road in Bellandur, which is home to multiple tech villages, parks, and, of course, hotels.
Did you know that Bangalore is one of the most visited cities in India? Yep.
