Let’s kick off this list with the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante. Being in the Eixample district, you could tell it’s a classy area. It’s a bit removed from the absolute chaos of the city center, which we appreciated. After a long day of meetings, a bit of tranquility is welcome. Plus, we could walk to Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla de Catalunya in under 10 minutes.

From a business perspective, the meeting rooms were adequate. We utilized one of the partitioned spaces, and we managed to have a productive meeting. The fact they have a collective capacity of 80 is nice. This means they can handle larger groups. The free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was also fast and reliable.

By staying at this hotel, you’ll get a pass to the fitness center near the hotel. It’s a short walk, and you can use the running machines, weights, and jacuzzi as well as sauna to destress. For its price, we honestly wouldn’t mind staying here again for future business trips.

Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via

For a quick business trip to Barcelona, especially if you’re hitting up the Fira de Barcelona conference center, the Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via definitely does the job. Location-wise, it’s great. Being right near Plaça España meant easy access to transport and, most importantly, the convention center. That saved us a lot of time.

For our business trip, we utilized their meeting rooms, and they were exactly what we needed. The larger one, accommodating around 100 people, was spacious enough for our small seminar. The smaller one, for about 50, was great for our team’s internal strategy session. Furthermore, the AV equipment worked perfectly fine.

After work, we would head to the in-house bar for a quick drink. The real perk, though, was the access to other HCC group hotels, like the nearby St. Moritz. That pool and terrace area were perfect for unwinding after a hectic day.

Evenia Rocafort

For a 3-star hotel, the Evenia Rocafort does its job perfectly. We were only seven minutes away from Paral.lel. We’re here for Fira de Barcelona, and the convenience is undeniable. Plus, getting to wander down those side streets after a long day of sessions was a real treat. We found some genuinely good, non-touristy spots for dinner and drinks.

Now, what about the meeting facilities? We used the larger meeting room, which was a 30-seater, and it was more than enough. Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed. The smaller 11-person room is better suited for smaller breakout sessions, but we didn’t use that one.

Since this isn’t a luxury hotel, don’t expect world-class amenities. However, you can still find a restaurant on the property. We grabbed breakfast there a couple of times and were happy with what we had.

Hotel Casa Fuster G.L Monumento

Best Luxury. If you want to stay somewhere luxurious, consider Hotel Casa Fuster G.L Monumento. The fact that it’s a 100-year-old restored building gives it a unique character that you just don’t find in modern, cookie-cutter hotels. Of course, that historic charm comes with a price tag, but for us, it was worth it.

The event spaces here were fantastic. We had a team meeting that required a professional setup, and Hotel Casa Fuster delivered. The soundproofing was excellent, and the state-of-the-art technology allowed us to have presentations without a hitch. Besides that, the staff were incredibly helpful, anticipating our needs and providing expert advice.

That’s not all, though. The refined Mediterranean restaurant was perfect for client dinners. We also loved relaxing at the cafe with live jazz. Make sure to check out the seasonal pool, too.

Renaissance Barcelona Hotel

We can’t have a list of the best business hotels in Barcelona without including the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel. Being a mere three-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia metro station, getting around the city was incredibly efficient. Plus, we could easily stroll to Plaça de Catalunya for a quick coffee meeting.

For our team meeting, the hotel’s dedicated meeting space was precisely what we needed. With seven contemporary rooms, the hotel has put thought into the business traveler’s needs. We particularly appreciated the natural light in some of the rooms; it made a huge difference in keeping us focused. Meanwhile, the tech was seamless, and the high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable.

The real highlight, though, was the Goja Rooftop. We used it for a networking event, and the city views were spectacular. It definitely left a lasting impression on our clients. It’s a unique space, and having it exclusively for our event made it feel very special.

Grand Hotel Central

The Grand Hotel Central truly lives up to its name by being in the middle of everything. Once we landed, we were immediately in the heart of things. Getting to meetings was easy, and we were able to explore places like Las Ramblas, the Cathedral, El Born, and Plaça de Catalunya without breaking a sweat.

For our meetings, the hotel offered three rooms. They varied in size, and while they weren’t massive, they comfortably accommodated our team. A crucial factor for us was the free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. No dropped connections and frustrating delays! Plus, the hotel boasts a small business center with two computers.

Even business travelers need a break. That said, the roof terrace is a gem. Heading up there for a drink was our favorite way to destress. Not to mention, the views of Barcelona were mesmerizing. We also enjoyed using the pool and gym.

Hotel Vilamarí

Best for Conferences. The first thing about Hotel Vilamarí that impressed us was its location. How could we not love the hotel? Staying there, we were less than a five-minute walk to the Fira de Barcelona. We were in town for a conference, and that proximity saved us not only precious time but also stress.

As if it’s not obvious enough, the hotel is geared towards business travelers. The on-site meeting rooms were beyond our expectations. Additionally, there’s a large terrace space that can accommodate up to 150 people. It’s always convenient to have meeting spaces readily available in the hotel, rather than scrambling to find something off-site.

Though we were in Barcelona for work, we also made time to enjoy ourselves. Thanks to the on-site fitness center and its essential equipment, we were able to have a quick workout. We also appreciated the free mineral water!

INNSiDE by Meliá Barcelona Aeropuerto

Best Airport Hotel. First impressions matter, and the INNSiDE by Meliá Barcelona Aeropuerto gave us a great one. This hotel is literally only a few minutes away from the airport. But what we appreciated the most was the free airport shuttle. We were in our room faster than we expected. No fuss, no long taxi rides, just straight to the hotel.

We had a small team meeting scheduled for our trip, and the hotel’s meeting rooms were more than adequate. The paneled walls were a smart design choice. We could adjust the space to fit our group perfectly. All the meeting rooms being on the ground floor was another plus – easy access for everyone.

Of course, the INNSiDE has other things to offer. For instance, the breakfast buffet tasted amazing. It gave us enough energy to kick off our day. At the lobby, you’ll also find a bar for a quick snack and drink. For gym rats, there’s a fitness center, too!

Catalonia Ramblas

Catalonia Ramblas exceeded our expectations, and we’re sure it’ll impress you too. This hotel put us right in the city center and just a hop from the Universitat metro. Besides that, the proximity to Plaça de Catalunya was also a huge plus for us, especially for quick meetings and exploring after hours.

For the business facilities, Catalonia Ramblas catered to us. The basement conference area was big, and we could break the space down into smaller rooms. Not to mention, they can handle up to 400 people. Aside from that, the dining area was also designed for events. It can house up to 600 people.

After hours of meetings, we loved taking a dip in the outdoor pool. If swimming isn’t your thing, feel free to work up a sweat in the fitness center or indulge in the spa. A little relaxation won’t hurt!

Sofitel Barcelona Skipper

The Sofitel Barcelona Skipper is one of the best 5-star Barcelona business hotels. Of course, its location is amazing. We were only a four-minute walk to Somorrostro Beach. A stroll along the Mediterranean was exactly what we needed during our business trip. Plus, the metro station, Ciutadella Vila Olímpica, was just six minutes away.

Furthermore, this hotel’s entire basement floor is designed purely for function rooms. From massive meeting rooms to smaller syndicate rooms, the hotel had us covered. Here, you have the flexibility to handle everything from cinema-style presentations to impromptu meetings. With a maximum capacity of 800 guests, the hotel can handle anything.

If you decide to stay here, make sure to check out its rooftop pool. The Balearic Sea views are to die for. It was our favorite spot to unwind and network. Speaking of which, the cocktail bars made networking a lot more enjoyable.

Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona

Best Award-Winning. The Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona has won “Best Business Hotel in Europe” multiple times, and this is enough for it to be at the top of this list. One of the reasons why it has won so many awards is because of its location. For us, being right next to the Diagonal Mar Shopping Center was everything. Need a quick bite? Forgot a charger? It’s all right there. Also, being a short walk from Nova Mar Bella Beach was something we didn’t realize we needed, especially after hours of meetings.

The real draw, though, was the hotel’s business facilities. With 25 meeting rooms, we had more options than we could ask for. We had a large group, and the ability to break out into smaller sessions was crucial. The ballroom, divisible into seven sections, handled our main conference sessions perfectly. On top of that, the hotel offered us an airport shuttle for 10 which made coordinating arrivals and departures a breeze.

Now, let’s talk food. Purobeach Restaurant was a solid choice for a more relaxed evening, with a good mix of options and a decent cocktail list. Aürt Restaurant, with its Catalan cuisine cooked in front of you, was also a unique experience. But for more casual fare, Ma’i offered tapas and snacks, perfect for a quick bite or a late-night drink.
