The Novotel München City served its purpose well. First off, we loved the accessibility. We needed to be in the city center, and being able to hop on the S-Bahn directly from the hotel meant we were at Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, in no time. Perfect for those downtime moments when we could squeeze in a quick stroll.

For the actual business side of things, the meeting rooms were adequate. We used a couple of their 8 rooms, and while the capacity was never pushed to the 50-person maximum, the modern equipment and the event team’s helpfulness were much appreciated. Smooth operations are crucial for our meetings, and they facilitated that.

After a long day of presentations and negotiations, the hotel’s amenities were a welcome sight. The breakfast spread was excellent, and in the evenings, the restaurant’s international menu offered a decent variety. The bar was a good spot to unwind with colleagues.

Hampton By Hilton Munich City West

The Hampton by Hilton Munich City West is another hotel that won’t disappoint. Being right next to the Donnersbergerbrücke station gave us a major advantage. Getting around Munich was a breeze. We had meetings scattered across the city, and the train access made it incredibly efficient. Plus, for those rare moments of downtime, the proximity to shopping and Marienplatz was a nice perk.

The hotel has two meeting rooms, Zugspitze and Alpspitze, with each holding up to 20 people. For our team meetings, we used the Zugspitze room. It comfortably fit our group of 15, and the setup was professional. Additionally, the business center with PCs was also a handy resource for those last-minute printouts and emails.

Our stay was also enjoyable thanks to the free hot breakfast. It’s a solid start to the day. Nothing gourmet, but a decent selection of hot and cold items to fuel up before heading out. We also appreciated the 24-hour fitness center.

NH Collection München Bavaria

If you want a centrally located business hotel in Munich, consider the NH Collection München Bavaria. The location alone made navigating the city incredibly easy, with swift access to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn, which were crucial for reaching various meetings and exploring a bit of Munich’s historical charm between appointments.

As for the business facilities, we were genuinely impressed. Our company held a series of meetings there, and the amount of space was fantastic. Over 800 sq m, across 12 meeting rooms, all flooded with natural light. The tech was great, too; no fiddling with projectors or struggling with Wi-Fi.

The highlight, though, had to be the boardroom on the 16th floor. The view was stunning. Overlooking the city and the Alps, it was a truly unique setting for our more strategic discussions. It comfortably accommodated our team of 20, and the atmosphere was both professional and inspiring.

Hotel Mirabell by Maier Privathotels

Looking for Munich business hotels that can help you stay productive without breaking the bank? Take a look at Hotel Mirabell by Maier Privathotels. This hotel is right in the city center. We were glad we chose this hotel, as we were never too far from our meetings, the exhibition, or the airport. Time is money, and Mirabell saved us plenty of it.

The real highlight for us was the Workspace. We needed a quiet place to strategize and prepare for a big presentation, and the small meeting room was perfect. Eight chairs around a desk, a flipchart, and a flatscreen TV – everything we needed was there. It was exactly as described, a focused space for focused work.

After a hectic day, we would end it at the on-site bar. They had a decent selection of Bavarian beers, wines, and liquors. It was nice to unwind with a drink, and the fact that we could take it back to our rooms was a bonus.

Hilton Garden Inn Munich City West

The Hilton Garden Inn Munich City West surprised us with its location. For us, the proximity to the Donnersbergerbrücke station was a huge win. We needed to be mobile, and that station made getting around incredibly easy. Being minutes from the city’s most popular attractions was a nice perk, even if we didn’t have a ton of time to explore. More importantly for our trip, the hotel’s proximity to local businesses was spot on.

We had a small team meeting, and the hotel’s meeting spaces, Watzmann and Wendelstein, served their purpose. At 596 sq ft combined, it wasn’t huge, but it was just right for our group of 12. We had all the tech we needed, and the natural light was a bonus.

Additionally, we also appreciated the stylish restaurant and the lobby bar. The restaurant had a decent selection, and the bar was a good spot to unwind. Though we didn’t use it, you should note that there’s a gym, too.

MOMA1890 Boutique Hotel

Best for Small Groups. MOMA1890 Boutique Hotel is a charming choice that’s hard to resist. First and foremost, its location is fantastic. Situated in Haidhausen, it’s in the heart of Munich. We found it incredibly easy to navigate the city, thanks to its direct connection to public transport. Plus, the proximity to Wiener Platz meant we could even grab a bike for a quick ride.

For our small meeting, we utilized the Green Room. At 17 sq m, it wasn’t huge, but it comfortably accommodated our group of 8. The meeting table for up to 10 was a good size, and the pad and pens were thoughtful additions. The 43-inch flat screen also made presentations smooth. It was exactly what we needed for a focused, productive meeting.

Now, let’s talk about the MOMA Lounge, which quickly became our go-to spot for relaxing. It’s the heart of the hotel, and the cozy seating areas create a relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated having a place to grab a coffee in the afternoon and, more importantly, a spot to decompress in the evening. The selection of fine wines, local beers, and whiskeys was impressive.

Sofitel Munich Bayerpost

You can’t go wrong with the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost. Staying at this hotel, we were only 328 ft from Munich Train Station. Getting to and from the airport and navigating the city was a breeze. We were right in the center of everything, and we could feel that buzz from the moment we stepped outside.

For our meetings, we utilized Boardroom A, located on the fifth floor. We were particularly impressed with the natural light. The 27-meter-high foyer is a stunning architectural feature, and it really made the meeting space feel open and airy. It’s a professional and well-equipped room, perfect for our smaller, focused sessions. The hotel boasts a total of 20 meeting rooms, and from what we saw, they’re geared toward handling a wide range of business events.

We couldn’t say no to a pampering session at the SOFITEL SPA. Some of its highlight features include the heated spiral pool, steam bath, and sauna. We also enjoyed spending our time in the relaxation room. The spa used Cinq Mondes and SOTHYS products, which made our experience even more luxurious.

Hotel Metropol by Maier Privathotels

Best Room. We had high expectations for Hotel Metropol by Maier Privathotels, and they were all met. When it comes to location, the hotel won’t disappoint you. Being just a three-minute walk from Munich’s main train station was incredibly convenient, especially when arriving and departing. Plus, since the old town was a mere 10-minute stroll, we could squeeze in some sightseeing after our meetings.

We went with the Business Room, and it made our business trip more enjoyable. That rain shower was fantastic – a real pick-me-up after a long day. The desk was comfortable and spacious, allowing us to get work done without feeling cramped. And the balcony? It allowed us to take a breath of fresh air when we needed a quick break.

Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast. The Dallmayr coffee was excellent, and the organic yogurt with fresh honeycomb was divine. We also loved the fresh juices and the wide array of pastries and breads.

Mandarin Oriental Munich

Best Luxury. We also had the chance to stay at Mandarin Oriental Munich, which lived up to its grand reputation. Location-wise, this 5-star hotel is absolutely prime. Being in the heart of downtown and just a short stroll from Maximilianstrasse was a huge plus. We found ourselves with a bit of downtime and took advantage of the proximity to browse the high-end shops and galleries – a nice change of pace from back-to-back meetings.

For our actual work requirements, the hotel’s meeting facilities were excellent. We utilized the Ginger room, the largest of the three, for a presentation with around 60 attendees, and it handled the group comfortably. The support staff was incredibly efficient and attentive, ensuring all our technical needs were met and the meeting ran smoothly.

Beyond that, the gym was well-equipped, and the sauna was a welcome addition. We particularly enjoyed our dinner at the Munich Sushi Club. The rooftop terrace provided a fantastic ambiance, and the food was top-notch. It was a perfect setting for a relaxed evening with our colleagues.

Platzl Hotel

Best Value for Money. During our latest business trip to Munich, we decided to spend a night at the Platzl Hotel. Location, as they say, is everything, and this place impressed us. We were literally steps from Marienplatz, the Residenz, and the Opera. We could even walk to a meeting. That saved us a ton of time!

Additionally, the conference facilities were also top-notch. We needed a space for a small seminar, and the Platzl’s rooms were perfect. Modern tech, but with a warm, almost traditional feel. It wasn’t your typical sterile conference room. The natural materials they used made it a comfortable working environment. Not to mention, the audio-visual setup worked flawlessly.

Although we only spent a night there, we made sure to check out the gym. It was adequate, especially for a 4-star hotel. The cherry on top, though, was the steam room and sauna. Finally, the hotel also offers bike rentals in the summer.
