SALTLINE
11
The first green flag of Saltline is for being right in the heart of Seaside and within walking distance of the beach. Second is of course its affinity for pets. When we stepped into the lobby, we were immediately greeted by a hip, mid-century design interior. Then, while we were still taking in the hotel’s attention for aesthetics, the professional staff warmly welcomed us and our pups. They promptly checked us in under their straightforward pet policy. We only had to settle the $25 fee per pet, per night (without worrying about size limits) before heading to our room.
Speaking of which, we found that the hotel’s well-curated style also extends to our guest room. Not only was ours incredibly comfy with a balcony, and plenty of natural light, but it was also adorned with designer furniture and artworks. Plus, the staff left our dogs with goody bags containing dog treats and water bowls in our room.
Beyond that, the whole hotel just exuded comfort and a sense of community. While our room was excellent to laze around in, the hotel’s common areas were amazing to hang out at and meet new people. They had a game room, an outdoor patio with a fire pit, a gym, and a cozy lounge, with the saltwater pool and spa center being our go-to place. There was also an off-leash area to walk our dogs around at the hotel. Lastly, freebies always put a hotel on our good list, and SALTLINE gave us complimentary breakfasts, bike rents, and parking (which came with an EV charging station).

Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn
10
Best Hotel for Cats. Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn may not be one of the most modern pet-friendly hotels in Seaside, Oregon, but it was the most warm and welcoming. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Plus, with the accommodating pet policy, we were able to have a hassle-free stay with our cat. We just had to settle the $20 pet fee per night first, and then get whisked to our room by the staff. That said, no worries for pet parents with dogs, as the hotel also welcomes your fur babies, with no weight limits, too.
Beyond that, the hotel provided us with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Our room was squeaky clean and was equipped with a comfy bed, a fireplace, and not to mention an ocean view right from our window. Our cat also had amenities of her own, including towels, treats, bowls, and a sheet. We also had access to the hotel’s various facilities. The indoor heated pool and hot tub were some of our faves, but the free Grab’n’Go breakfast made waking up early worth it.
“We couldn’t believe that there was a hotel that not only welcomed cats but even handed them their own amenities! This gets full marks from us.”
WOW Travel
Moreover, the hotel’s excellent location only made us enjoy staying here more. Not only was it right on the oceanfront, but we were also only a walking distance from Downtown, and all other exciting locations near the shore. All in all, with the excellent hospitality, and accommodating pet policy, we couldn’t recommend Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn enough.

There’s much to love about the Inn at Seaside, starting with its vibrant and colorful interior that sets a cheerful tone for our stay. Beyond aesthetics, what truly impressed us was the hotel’s exemplary pet policy, exceptional hospitality, and prime location.
From the moment we arrived, the upbeat staff warmly welcomed our furry companions, providing them with thoughtful pet baskets stocked with treats, bowls, towels, and even some cookies for us. This attention to detail shows their genuine care for pets. The hotel’s pet policy further exemplified this care, allowing guests to bring cats or dogs of any size for a nominal fee of $25 per pet, per night, and permitting pets to stay unattended in the room.
Beyond that, our experience here was fantastic. We opted for the suite since we had two dogs with us, and it was perfect. Not only did the room have more space, but it also came with a fully stocked kitchen, a living room, and wood flooring for easy cleanup. Furthermore, with our dogs comfortably lazing in the suite, we got to check out the heated pool and enjoy our complimentary breakfast with no worries. Lastly, thanks to the hotel’s free bike rental, we had a blast riding along the shore with our dogs.

Rivertide Suites

Beyond its welcoming nature to pets, the Rivertide Suites‘s beautiful location along the river caught our fancy the most. Staying here, we made sure to get a room facing the river so we could make the most of the view. Plus, with the hotel offering an all-suite guestroom, we were guaranteed a spacious room with tons of amenities to ourselves. And with our dog in tow, we didn’t have to worry about him being cramped up. As for us, we fully enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony, and a cozy seating area.
That said, from the moment we got here, we knew that we hit the jackpot. The staff were amazing from the get-go. They seem to love having our dog around. This was no surprise given that the hotel is pet-friendly, to the point of providing gift bags for our dog. As for the pet policy, we had nothing to worry about. The hotel allows a maximum of two dogs up to 80 lbs for a $30 fee per pet, per night in all the rooms.
With our dog meeting the hotel’s requirements, it was smooth sailing from then on. All we had left was to enjoy the facilities and services the hotel offered us. Other than obviously loving our guestroom, the indoor pool & spa were our go-to places to relax. Although, with the hotel’s downtown location, we simply enjoyed walking around town with our dog, taking in everything Seaside had to offer.

Sandy Cove Inn

The Sandy Cove Inn was hands down one of the most unique dog-friendly hotels in Seaside, we’ve been to/ For starters, we loved that it’s a family-run boutique hotel, so we knew the hospitality was gonna be impeccable. However, it’s their uniquely themed guestroom that makes a lasting impression. The fact that we got to enjoy staying here with our pet dog was just the cherry on top.
From their website, we knew that each room had different themes and decor, but not all were pet-friendly. That said, they had themes including Garden Room, Smooth Sailing Room, Victorian Room, Vintage Game Room, and more. As for us, we were lucky that the Silver Screen Room was pet-friendly because we loved everything about it. The attention to detail was amazing, it even had a mural of a theatre, complete with other vintage furnishing. It suffices to say that both we and our dog had a splendid time lounging in our room, especially our dog who got free treats from the friendly staff.
Beyond that, the pet policy was pretty chill. The hotel welcomes up to three pet dogs, per room, with no size restrictions. However, we did have to pay an $18 fee per pet, per night, and cats are sadly not allowed. There wasn’t much when it came to the hotel’s facilities, but the ideal location more than made up for it. Sandy Cove Inn was located at the end of the Promenade, so had plenty of time walking along the beach with our dog. Plus, there were lots of restaurants along the street.

The River Inn at Seaside is just one of those pet-friendly hotels in Seaside, Oregon, that has everything for everyone. Not only does it have selected pet-friendly rooms, but the hotel also comes with various facilities. Plus, the hotel welcomes both cats and dogs, though there is a pet policy allowing a maximum of two pets up to 20 lbs each, with an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night.
That said, we were able to enjoy the hotel’s outstanding features from the moment we arrived. The staff greeted us enthusiastically and were thrilled to meet our dogs. They even accommodated our last-minute request for a first-floor room with a river view, which had a private grassy terrace perfect for relaxation and our dogs’ potty breaks. Although it wasn’t a suite, it had ample space, a cozy sofa, and necessary amenities. Our dogs also received treats, water bowls, and blankets.
As for the hotel itself, we couldn’t help but sing our praises. The excellent location was for sure one of the highlights of staying here, and with the hotel providing free bike rentals, our exploration got even more exciting. At the hotel, we enjoyed making s’mores at the riverside fire pit, swimming in the saltwater-heated indoor pool, and playing in the games room. Since we were allowed to leave our well-behaved dogs in our room, we didn’t need to take turns for activities.
The hotel also provided free breakfasts, free parking, fresh-baked cookies, and more. Extra facilities included a kid’s playground, a fitness center, an EV charging station, and a laundromat. Overall, the River Inn at Seaside truly has everything for everyone.

Located at the end of Seaside’s Promenade, the Inn at the Shore had us opening our window to a beautiful view of the ocean. While we loved being so close to the beach, it was the hotel’s hassle-free pet policy that landed them on this list. With the hotel welcoming two dogs of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night, we were set for our stay.
Not to mention, the hotel’s hospitality made our stay delightful. We especially enjoyed how cozy our room was. The balcony opened up to the beach, and we couldn’t get enough of the view. Our room also came with a fireplace for chilly nights, and our dog got to lounge on the sofabed. Other than that, the in-room amenities include a microwave, minifridge, and Keurig coffee maker. If you think that was impressive enough, wait until you see the jetted tub in the bathroom. Plus, our dog also got a goody bag with towels, bowls, and treats inside.
Moreover, when we were not biking around town (courtesy of the hotel), or running around the beach with our dog, you could find us enjoying a downtime at the hotel. We especially love using the hotel’s BBQ facility for a family fun time. All in all, we had a fantastic time staying at the Inn at the Shore and would come back here.

Inn at the Prom

Best Location. Inn at the Prom is a quaint pet-friendly hotel along The Promenade in Seaside. Despite its size, it offers comfort and coziness, starting with a lovely grassy front yard featuring a fire pit—a favorite spot for lounging with our dog and people-watching.
Besides that, the hotel’s staff showed a genuine love for pets, warmly welcoming us with smiles and giving our dog plenty of attention. That said, the pet policy requires current vaccinations and flea treatment two weeks before visiting, which might be a hassle to some, but we didn’t mind the hotel’s extra hygiene caution. Otherwise, it allows a maximum of two dogs per room with no size restrictions, charging a $25 fee per pet, per night.
After helping us have a smooth check-in, the staff then gave the key to the guestroom. To our delight, our room was the pinnacle of convenience. We got a kitchen, a fireplace, a cable TV, and a sofa bed. Our fave details were the wooden floor (ideal for easy cleanup), the ocean view balcony, and the jetted tub in the bathroom. While the in-room amenities were amazing enough, the hotel also offered us beach toys, chairs, and beach towels at the front desk. Needless to say, don’t walk, but run and book yourself a room at the Inn at the Prom.

Best Value for Money. Sporting a modern-industrial interior design, the Ashore Hotel in Seaside, OR, provided us with a pet-friendly haven. Located just two blocks from the beach with plenty of nearby restaurants, the hotel also offered free bikes for exploring with our pup safely secured in his favorite backpack dog carrier.
That said, we were able to enjoy all of these with our dog, thanks to Ashore’s pet-friendly policy. Guests at the hotel were allowed three pets (cats or dogs) of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per stay. Plus, we were able to leave well-behaved pets in the room, provided we gave our number to the front desk for emergencies.
When it came to our room, it was sporting the same unique industrial interior design, complete with wood flooring, a fireplace, a cable TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, among other amenities. Our dog was also given cookie treats and bowls in the room. Lastly, the hotel’s facilities only further enhance our stay. The small bar area was serving beer, coffee, and light snacks. It complements the outdoor fire pit well. Although, when we wanted to be extra, we’d opt for the hotel’s bonfire package. Other than that, you don’t want to miss out on taking a dip at the heated indoor pool and having a nice sweat session in the sauna.

Upon entering, we were greeted by rich mahogany paneling, plenty of natural sunlight from numerous windows, and vintage furnishings. Overall Best. While other dog-friendly hotels in Seaside were amazing, the effortless comfort we experienced at the Seashore Inn on the Beach Seaside makes it our overall best. The hotel has all the features we look for in a pet-friendly beach town hotel. The beachfront location is unbeatable, right along The Promenade with the beach as our front yard. Its central location allowed us to explore cool places in the town, like the Seaside Aquarium with our dog.
In terms of hospitality, we have nothing but good things to say. Their accommodating pet policy made it easy for us to stay with our dog.
