Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront
Waterfront convenience

First of all, let’s talk about the location of Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront. Being situated directly on San Francisco Bay offered breathtaking views from our room, and the waterfront trail was such a lovely spot for a relaxing walk. The proximity to the airport was also a major bonus for us, making our travel plans incredibly easy (more on that later).
For those seeking entertainment, the CuriOdyssey Science Museum is within a short distance, providing a fun and educational experience. And if you’re a golf enthusiast, the Burlingame Golf Center is just a stone’s throw away. It’s a must-visit that offers a convenient opportunity to practice your swing.

Since Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront is only 3 miles away from the airport, it offers its guests limited, free shuttle service. We truly appreciated this service a lot, as it made getting to and from the airport a breeze. We simply hopped on the shuttle and were at the airport in no time.
For those who want to explore Downtown San Francisco, the Broadway BART station is within easy walking distance. We took the BART a few times and found it to be a convenient and affordable way to get around the city.
We also appreciate the fact that the hotel offers self-parking on-site. While it isn’t free at 42 USD per day, it’s convenient not having to worry about finding parking in the city. And for those with electric vehicles, the on-site EV charging stations are another great bonus.

The Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront offers a variety of room options to suit every need, but we were particularly drawn to the 2-room suite with a waterfront view. This spacious and luxurious suite provided the perfect blend of comfort and convenience.
The separate living area was a welcome surprise, offering more than ample space for our group. We also enjoyed relaxing on the sofa bed and taking in the breathtaking views of the bay with a glass of wine in our hands. Speaking of which, the wet bar, small but useful refrigerator, and microwave made it easy to prepare light meals or snacks. We also got a study desk so we could get some work done.

At the Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront, we never had to worry about food. From an exquisite on-site restaurant to free breakfast, the hotel has it all.
Tap & Tavern, the hotel’s in-house restaurant, offered a truly memorable dining experience. The restaurant’s stunning views of San Francisco Bay provided a picturesque backdrop for our meals. We were particularly impressed by the fresh and flavorful local cuisine, expertly prepared by the hotel’s catering team. The menu offered a diverse range of options, catering to various tastes and preferences.
One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary evening reception. It gave us a great opportunity to unwind and socialize with other guests while enjoying a selection of drinks and snacks. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff made it a truly enjoyable experience.

Aside from amazing dining options, the Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront also offers a modern pool and gym to keep everyone busy. We loved taking a dip in the well-maintained indoor swimming pool whenever we had the time. Although it’s not Olympic-sized, the pool area, adorned with lush greenery, created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The jacuzzi, conveniently located adjacent to the pool, was our favorite spot for soothing soak hours of walking around the city.
For those who prefer to stay active, the on-site fitness center is well-equipped. There’s a variety of cardio machines, including elliptical trainers and treadmills, as well as free weights for strength training. We even found a balance ball, a fun and challenging tool for improving core strength and coordination. Additionally, the hotel thoughtfully provides towels for guests to use, so there’s no need to worry about packing your own.

A pet-friendly haven
1
During our time at the Embassy Suites Airport Waterfront, we didn’t bring our pets along. However, it’s nice knowing that the hotel welcomes four-legged family members with open arms. In fact, the hotel accepts your furry friends without any restriction on size.
The hotel charges a reasonable fee of 75 USD per stay for your dog, which we think is fair considering the convenience of being able to bring your dog along. In addition to that, we also like the fact that both dogs and cats are allowed, making it accessible for a variety of pet owners.
While you’re not allowed to leave your dog unattended in the room, the grassy area on the property provides a great spot for them to relieve themselves and stretch their legs. Additionally, the Burlingame Dog Park is just a short walk away, offering even more space for your furry friend to explore and socialize.
“Why leave your adorable pet behind when the hotel allows you to bring them along? Plus, there’s a dog park nearby!”
