Maui Coast Hotel

We enjoyed our vacation up to the limits while staying at Maui Coast Hotel. This luxurious hotel offered more services than other similarly priced hotels to deliver a perfect experience. However, the best thing about staying here is the level of cleanliness we noticed. We aren’t talking only about our room but also the whole thing. Even the fitness center was ultimately cleaned now and then.
“You’ll never get bored here. We rented bicycles, sored our muscles at the gym, and engaged in a tennis match. Dining by the pool is another level of enjoyment here.”
WOW Travel
We stayed in a garden view room, which was the only available one when booking. We advise you to book early as ocean-view rooms are usually fully booked. Yet, we loved the garden view from our room; it offered a sense of serenity, especially in the morning. Take a look at the room options here on the official website. Further, we had all our meals on-site. The restaurant offers multiple dietary options inspired by the Hawaiian culture. You’ll love the taste, but if you need a change, a couple of eateries are a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Maui Seaside Hotel had the best entrance we have seen in Maui. The decorations and brownish bricks blended perfectly with the fall-themed plants at the entrance. First impressions make a difference; we had the best impression once we arrived there. The lobby is similarly beautiful. Best of all, our room was very spacious, so our impressions couldn’t be better.
As guests of the hotel, we had multiple discounts in nearby places such as the on-site restaurant, the Golf Club, and the Historical Society Bailey House. We had other free services and amenities. The most important thing was the free airport shuttle service. The hotel isn’t far from the airport, but we had to drive to and from the airport. With this free shuttle service, we didn’t even think of renting a car. Further, the hotel is on the beachfront, so we mostly enjoyed lounging by the sea. The hotel beach chairs were so comfortable and encouraged me to stay there for hours!

Best for water activities. We had multiple things to do at the OUTRIGGER Honua Kai Resort and Spa. We could stay there for weeks to enjoy all the activities offered by the hotel. Like most hotels, it’s a beachfront one where swimming is a must-do in Maui to enjoy the crystal clear water. Further, the swimming pools there were very attractive. Our favorite was the pool with water slides, and as we love thrilling activities, snorkeling is another must-do. The hotel arranged everything for us, and we rented the gear from the hotel.
We wanted to enjoy our vacation the most, so we asked about other activities we could do there. They gave us a list of things they could arrange for us, such as surfing, parasailing, and any water activity you could think of. Even if we want to wind down, the resort is so comfy and inviting that we can lounge by the sea or the pools. We had all our meals at the Duke’s Maui restaurant; the food was mouth-watering.

The Westin Maui Resort & Spa

Located on Ka’anapali Beach, we had one of the best days at this Expedia hotel in Maui, Hawaii. The Westin Maui Resort & Spa is a well-known chain for all travelers. We expected the best services there, and we got what we expected. It’s a large resort where we could enjoy laps every day in one of the six pools scattered around the resort. The water slides were marvelous, and the adults-only area was very private.
The room options are endless. We didn’t know what to choose as all the rooms looked perfect. We ended up choosing the adults-only room as this option isn’t common at most hotels. Our room was so lovely, and the private seating on the terrace was amazing. The choices aren’t finished yet. We had to pick one of the on-site restaurants to dine in every day. Westin chain never fails to amaze us. If you’re looking for stays on other islands in Hawaii, we have a list of the best beach hotels in Oahu, including a Westin option.

Best value for money. Hilton Vacation Club is very close to the West Maui Airport. We loved the location as we had to drive for less than 10 minutes to reach our accommodation. This hotel is the best for early flights and short vacations. If you’re asking us whether we’ll stay here again or not, the answer is definitely yes. We paid almost less than half what we’d paid for other hotels here. However, the services, amenities, and level of enjoyment were pretty much the same. The beach was at our room door. We could see the whales while we were relaxing and enjoying our sunbathing. The lagoon-styled pool seemed huge. Plus, we loved that all the rooms were large. They included a fridge and a microwave, enabling us to prepare snacks. It was a very economical option with the luxurious vibes of Maui.

We felt peaceful and content in Kohea Kai Maui. This hotel isn’t very modern, but we loved the vibes. Everything was perfect and smooth. The check-in process didn’t take more than a couple of minutes. The staff were so professional that they finished the process quickly to let us rest and enjoy our room. We had an ocean view room. The view from the terrace was spectacular. We could stay in our room all day just to enjoy the view. Even if you booked a garden view room, you’ll get a lovely view. What’s better than the view is enjoying the ocean itself.
We walked to the beach with our towels, umbrellas, and seats. Swimming in such clear and calm water was the best thing in Maui. Later, we wanted to explore the city and do some shopping. Luckily, our hotel was located at the heart of everything. It’s one of the best stays in Maui when it comes to location. We reached restaurants and shopping malls in minutes without having to ride or drive.

Aston Kaanapali Shores

Best for families. Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Aston Kaanapali Shores Hotel. We enjoyed our stay there to the limits as we always had something to do. We booked a studio to get access to a small kitchen where we could prepare our food. There was a refrigerator where we could store any leftovers. Couples or families with kids would love this place a lot, as special children’s programs are on site.
As for the amusement part, the first day was spent exploring the place. We found on-site shops and bars. The beachfront restaurant was our favorite. The following day, we decided to learn some scuba skills. The lessons were complimentary to our stay. The massage center was more than perfect. Best of all, the beachfront swimming pool was where we spent most of our time. There is more to know about this hotel from their official website. It’s time to enjoy your stay and get all the heads we turned to you with one of the best bikinis for Hawaii.

Hyatt Regency

Best food. Hyatt Regency is a well-known and top-rated hotel in Maui, Hawaii. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth it. The views from any of the rooms were unmatched. The outdoor pool had the same spectacular views of the ocean. Further, the infinity pool was great for relaxing at the beginning of the day. Popular water activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and other activities such as hula classes were available on-site. We struggled to arrange our time so as not to miss anything.
Furthermore, we enjoyed the food there like no other hotel. We had lots of options, but the Japengo restaurant was the main go-to restaurant for most meals. It serves mouth-watering Hawaiian food in addition to other American food. The Swan Court is another on-site eatery with a lovely lagoon view from which to start our day with a hot, fresh breakfast meal. The food here shouldn’t be missed. You need to explore all the options yourself.

Hotel Wailea, Relais & Châteaux

This luxurious Hotel Wailea, Relais & Châteaux is the perfect accommodation for couples, honeymooners, and dates. We stayed a couple of days there to relax and unwind. It was the best decision we have made. We loved the peaceful vibes and the celebrity-like treatment we had here. We also loved the private dinner arranged for us in the Treehouse. The experience we had here was completely different from other luxurious hotels in Maui.
Although the hotel wasn’t very small, we felt like we were the only guests there. Sometimes, we felt like it was a boutique hotel. It wasn’t busy during our stay, so we could easily find a good spot by the pool or the beach. When we wanted to relax ultimately, we would lounge on our roof terrace and watch the amazing landscape of the tropics and ocean.

Book a suite at the Four Seasons Resort, and you’ll never regret it. This is one of the best hotels in Maui and one of Hawaii’s most expensive hotels. However, what we got was an unmatched experience, premium amenities, and all the facilities that came to our minds. The staff was so professional and took care of every detail. The housekeeping staff cleaned our suite every day to be spotless. We never had comments on the cleanliness of the room.
Further, the hotel’s location was perfect for us. All the hotels we stayed in here in Maui were beachfront, and this wasn’t an exception. The staff immediately responded to our requests whenever we needed transportation to any location. We didn’t want to leave the resort. It had everything we needed inside. On the last day, we pampered ourselves in the spa and massage center. It was the best experience to end our vacation there.

Fairmont Kea Lani

Fairmont Kea Lani includes different suites with ocean views or garden views. In Maui, we usually go for ocean-view rooms so as not to miss this unmatched view from our room. We found a great ocean-view suite at the hotel equipped with modern amenities and toiletries. Our suite consisted of a bedroom and a living room that suited families and groups. The bathroom was spacious and very relaxing. The tub was too deep to encourage relaxing while enjoying the views from the window.
On the other side, there was more to enjoy at the hotel. The adults-only pool is perfect for a few laps in the morning. However, we enjoyed the pool with slides more; it triggered more adrenaline, and this is what we were up to. We had breakfast on-site for food, but we wanted to try other restaurants nearby for other meals. It was easy to reach other locations from the hotel. We had dinner once at Nick’s Fishmarket restaurant, and it was one of the best seafood offered in Maui. Don’t miss it!

Where to Stay in Maui?
Maui is known for its breathtaking views of the dormant volcanoes and clear waters. Nothing is better than staying in an area where we can enjoy these views. Therefore, whenever we decide to visit Maui again, we’ll stay in one of these areas. The first is Lahaina City. This city lies on the northwest coast of Maui. It’s the busiest area in Maui, but it’s worth spending at least one night there if you do not want to stay there. Most of the hotels and resorts have beachfront, so guests can enjoy lounging by the sea. The spectacular views there, and the area is full of shops, restaurants, bars, and tropical Hawaiian life. We loved it the best.
On the island’s southwest shore, Kihei is another area worth it. While staying in one of the hotels there, we enjoyed many water activities such as whale watching, surfing, snorkeling, and many more. There are many public beaches where you can spend the day, even if you aren’t staying in a beachfront hotel. For cheaper options, Haiku-Pauwela is close to the city center, where we could find a couple of two-star hotels, inns, and lodges at acceptable prices. Similar options are available in the Pukalani and Makawao areas. We also enjoyed the tropical scenery at these stays.
