Located only about a 10-minute drive from Six Flags Fiesta Texas and not too far from the zoo, it made it easy for us to balance both family fun and city exploring without spending too much time in the car.

McAllister Park was just a short drive, TPC San Antonio’s golf courses were only about 8 miles away, and we even made a day trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which was less than 10 miles from the hotel.

Like many other hotels on this list, our suite came with a fully-stocked kitchenette. Besides that, having a separate living room with a pull-out sofa also made it easy to relax. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and everything had a clean, modern feel.

As the name suggests, the River Walk was literally right outside, with its winding paths and lively restaurants just a few steps from the lobby. Within 10 minutes, we could be standing in front of the Alamo, which made sightseeing ridiculously easy.

Our suite was everything we wanted it to be. We had a living room where we could lounge, a dining table to spread out our stuff, and even a full kitchen stocked with everything from pots and pans to a dishwasher. It was truly the best place for us to be after long evenings wandering the Riverwalk.
