Kicking off this list is the Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown. As the name suggests, this is an Uptown hotel, so you can expect an upscale vibe. We loved being there, as it was near places like the Dallas World Aquarium and some big companies. Convenience: unlocked!
That said, what really sealed the deal for us was the meeting space. Having our meetings on the top floor with those skyline views? Impressive, to say the least. Yes, our meeting room is connected directly to the rooftop lounge. We could wrap up a meeting and transition seamlessly into a more relaxed networking environment with cocktails – incredibly convenient.
Freebies, you said? Free breakfast is always appreciated, especially when you’re on a tight schedule. We didn’t get a chance to use the loaner bikes, but it’s also a great perk to offer. Our favorite, though, was the evening beer and spirit tastings.

Thompson Dallas

The Thompson Dallas is an upscale hotel that caters to any kind of traveler. The location in downtown was just right for our needs – a quick walk to both the Dallas Museum of Art and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, which was crucial for our conference. Getting to and from Dallas Love Field Airport was also a breeze, despite being a little further out.
Now, let’s talk about its meeting facilities. For a large gathering, the 22,000 sq ft of event space is more than adequate. The ballroom is impressive, easily accommodating our group of over 800. For our smaller, more private breakout sessions, the Franklin and Washington meeting rooms were all we needed. The entire event planning process was flawlessly executed by the hotel staff, which made our lives so much easier.
Beyond that, the hotel also pampered us with its leisure amenities. Think full-service spa, modern fitness center, and multiple restaurants. Overall, we think this hotel perfectly blends upscale style with practical amenities for business travelers.

We also had the chance to spend our nights at The Adolphus, and it was fantastic. As business travelers, location is always a key factor, and the hotel nailed it. Its proximity to several Fortune 500 companies made our meetings super convenient. We also appreciated the diverse on-site dining options. We had a particularly enjoyable meal at the State & Allen restaurant. Good food after a meeting? Perfect!
The amount of event space here is remarkable – nearly 30,000 sq ft spread across 15 rooms! We were part of a larger session with around 200 attendees, and the ballroom was more than adequate. We also noticed they had numerous smaller breakout rooms, which would be ideal for more intimate workshops or board meetings.
Beyond the business facilities, we also made use of the modern amenities. For instance, we had a good workout at the fitness center, which had up-to-date equipment and even mounted TVs. We also enjoyed a quick dip in the rooftop pool.

Best Amenities. The Hilton Anatole is another hotel that we highly recommend. One of its biggest selling points is its location. Being just minutes from the Dallas Market Center was great for our meetings, and the proximity to both Neiman Marcus and the Northpark Center allowed us to shop without venturing too far.
What really impressed us, though, was the sheer scale of its event space. We were blown away by the 600,000 sq ft dedicated to events. 9 ballrooms and 79 meeting rooms? That’s serious business. The thought of utilizing their sound, lighting, and visual effects, combined with their award-winning catering, is definitely appealing. Plus, the art and architecture throughout the hotel are stunning – every corner seems to offer a great photo opportunity.
Though our meetings were stressful, we were thankful to the Verandah Athletic Club. The state-of-the-art equipment was great, and we appreciated the variety of options, from the indoor lap pool to the jogging track and tennis courts. It was a great way for us to recharge.

The Omni Dallas Hotel was everything we hoped it was and more. We were impressed by the hotel’s commitment to both comfort and convenience, clearly catering to business travelers like us. Its location was a major perk – close to all the corporate headquarters we needed to visit, and not too far from some of Dallas’s cultural attractions when we had a spare moment.
One of the main reasons we chose the Omni was for its meeting facilities. We hosted a small client meeting there, and the state-of-the-art meeting venue we used was perfect. The hotel boasts an impressive 41 meeting spaces, both indoor and outdoor, with a staggering 110,000 sq ft of total meeting space. The fact that it’s connected to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center by a sky bridge is a huge advantage, especially for larger events.
When we weren’t working, we would head to the wine bar. Meanwhile, the relaxed lounge was perfect for a quick bite and a cocktail. Even though our schedule was packed, we did manage to make some time to take a dip in the outdoor pool. After all, a little bit of relaxation is essential, even on a business trip.

Up next is The Lumen, a hotel only a few blocks from SMU. The location of this hotel was perfect for us, as we were situated near Highland Park Village and Snider Plaza. Nothing feels better than shopping after meetings! Even better, we were close to Dallas’ Arts District, which allowed us to explore the Nasher Sculpture Center.
Speaking of meetings, The Lumen’s facilities were top-notch. We utilized their meeting spaces for a small seminar, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. The technology was up-to-date and reliable, which is essential for any business traveler. The staff was incredibly helpful with the planning and catering, ensuring everything was taken care of. It definitely took a load off our minds, allowing us to focus on the content of the seminar itself.
Beyond the business side of things, the hotel also offered some fantastic perks. The complimentary morning coffee and tea were a welcome start to the day, and the evening wine socials were a great way for us to network with other guests.

Best Luxury. Now, where do we even begin? We’ve seen our fair share of business hotels, but The Joule is different. When we arrived, we were stunned by the lobby, or should we say art gallery. The artworks by Tony Tasset, Andy Warhol, and Millard Sheets are everywhere. It might be the most beautiful boutique hotel lobby we’ve ever seen, anywhere.
For our meetings, The Joule handled everything flawlessly. We gave them the basic details of what we needed – space, catering, A/V – and they took care of the rest. Seriously, within 24 hours, they had a proposal back to us. They have a range of meeting rooms, all modern and luxurious, and even a huge ballroom for larger events. It allowed our team to focus on our work, not the logistics, which is exactly what we need when we’re on the road.
Beyond the business side, this hotel is a haven. The on-site spa is widely known as the best in the city, and we can confirm that the rumors are true. We made sure to arrive early for our appointments to enjoy the European heat experience. For those who want to stay active, there’s the Vital Fitness Studio, which offers a variety of classes.

If you’re in Dallas for work, you’ll want to stay at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The location was perfect for our needs. Being in the historic West End, we were literally right in the heart of things – from the shops and restaurants of the West End Marketplace to the nightlife of Dallas Alley. The fact that Reunion Tower is right there, practically attached to the hotel, was another perk! Best of all, the hotel has an underground connection to Union Station.
For our actual business needs, the Hyatt Regency really shone. We were hosting a fairly large conference, and the sheer amount of meeting space available was impressive. 160,000 square feet. We had everything from smaller breakout rooms to the massive Marsalis Hall, which could easily hold a 4,000-person gala.
We also appreciated the hotel’s amenities. Having an on-site gym and outdoor pool was great for keeping up with our fitness routines while on the road. Moreover, we couldn’t resist a trip up to the revolving Antares restaurant and The Dome bar at the top of Reunion Tower. The views were simply breathtaking.

The Warwick Melrose Hotel is easily one of the most beautiful business hotels in Dallas. The location in Uptown Oak Lawn and Turtle Creek was perfect – providing a beautiful and, dare we say, mesmerizing view of the city. Being so close to both Love Field and D/FW International Airport was a huge plus for our team, simplifying our travel logistics considerably.
As our trip revolved around a series of meetings, the Warwick Melrose’s facilities were essential to our success. The 12,000+ sq ft of flexible meeting space, spread across 9 rooms, was more than ideal. We utilized several of the rooms, and the state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment made our presentations seamless. We were particularly impressed with the two ballrooms. While we didn’t use them for this trip, we toured both the newly constructed Turtle Creek Grand Ballroom and the classic Crystal Ballroom. Both were stunning and clearly capable of hosting grand events.
Also, did you know that this hotel was built in 1924? No wonder it’s seen as one of the best historic hotels in Dallas. And as a four-star diamond hotel, the service was, as expected, impeccable. Our team members stayed in a variety of rooms, and everyone was pleased with the luxurious accommodations.

Most Comfortable. Of course, you should also consider staying at Fairmont Dallas. Set in the Dallas Arts District, we enjoyed being able to wander around the antique shops and explore the nearby parks and gardens after meetings. We even managed to squeeze in some delicious Tex-Mex at a local eatery. The vibrant nightlife was also very tempting.
The meeting facilities at this hotel are outstanding. With over 70,000 sq ft of event space, we had no trouble finding the perfect room for our various sessions. Some of the meeting rooms are equipped with super ergonomic chairs, making our meetings more enjoyable. The heart of it, however, is the Regency Ballroom. The 27 ft ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows are truly breathtaking, making it a fantastic venue for a large conference or gala. The hotel staff was also incredibly helpful throughout our planning process, assisting us with everything from audiovisual arrangements to creating the perfect menu.
That’s not all! The hotel also boasts an Olympic-sized pool, gift shop, salon, and jewelry store. It’s safe to say you won’t run out of fun and activities by staying here.

Best Overall. The Kimpton – Pittman Hotel by IHG is housed in a stunning 1916 redbrick building designed by William Sidney Pittman. Among all of the Dallas business hotels, this one impressed us the most with its sophisticated ambiance. The location in the vibrant Deep Ellum entertainment district made our stay even more convenient.
For business travelers, the hotel boasts impressive event spaces. From gatherings to business meetings and seminars, these spaces are highly versatile. The fact that they offer over 9,000 sq ft of flexible space and catering from Central 214 is a definite plus. The location near SMU and in the Park Cities area also makes it very convenient.
Apart from the business amenities, the hotel features loaner bikes, an outdoor pool, and a poolside bar. We even hit the 24-hour gym, which was well-equipped for a good workout.
