One of the features we liked the best was the flexible soles which don’t feel stiff with every step. At the same time, they provided good arch support that kept us comfortable all day long. Best cushioned flip-flops. We didn’t think that women’s flip-flops with arch support could be stylish, but the Reef Cushion Court Flip-Flops proved us wrong. Due to their incredibly plush feel, these sandals got our vote as the best-cushioned flip-flops.

Plush sole, vegan leather straps

Since they’re made from a thick foam material throughout the sandal, we felt them very cushioned and soft underneath our feet. At the same time, we never felt that they didn’t offer support. Despite being plush, they’re very well-made, boast sturdy soles, and offer great arch support. Topping off the comfort are the vegan leather straps, made of vegan leather, which were as well-made as they felt soft. 

A huge plus point about these sandals is how quickly they dried. So, whenever we had to make trips from the pool to the Boardwalk, we weren’t worried about walking around in wet sandals.

Sizes

Since they also come in half sizes, it’s easy to find our true shoe size. When some of us felt that we were between sizes, we simply went a size up. That, combined with the sturdiness of the soles and the softness of the flip-flops, protected our feet from the rough terrain. We literally felt like we were walking on a cloud with every step! We were pleasantly surprised by just how soft and lightweight the Teva Womens Mush II Flip Flops were. For a 35 USD flip-flop, these are perfect for general outdoor and around-town use.

Bendy soles

Firstly, we loved the bendy sole, which allowed them to conform to our feet fully. At the same time, they’re by no means flimsy. The thick thong straps kept them on our feet so they didn’t slide or slip as we walked along. So, we were very happy that the typical nuisance which comes with most flip-flops is completely eliminated. While some of us felt the straps slightly tight on first wear, they stretched out easily after the first few times of wearing. The best bit? There were no blisters or chafing while we were breaking them in.

Sizes

We initially thought that the lack of half sizes would have us scrambling for the sizing. However, all we did was size up, and the fit was just about right. What’s more, the straps not being too loose or tight actually helped with the fit. Plus, we felt that the narrower toe box gives the sandals a slimmer profile. For those with regular toes like us, this design is just perfect.

What’s more, we also got additional support from impact pillows on the back and front, which reduced the discomfort when we walked on various different terrains. Despite being cushioned and soft, we didn’t feel like our feet were sinking. That was a big plus when we wore the sandals for longer times. One of our favorite features of these Havaianas sandals is how lightweight they feel. Not just that, but also they’re incredibly flexible, which means that we almost felt like we weren’t wearing any shoes! What’s more, the cushioned insole added additional comfort, providing protection from the ground with each step too. So, we could wear these flip-flops to even pebbled beaches. Moreover, the bottoms are ridged, which also offered a good bit of security and traction even on slippery pool decks. Their only drawback? We couldn’t spend a lot of time on our feet in them due to their minimal arch support.

Costing just 20-30 USD when this article was being written, they are one of the most value-for-money options we tried. Even if they felt stiff the first time we wore them, the feeling quickly faded after a while.

One of the best features of these sandals is that they come in half sizes too. Even though we felt that they ran a bit big, it’s easy to size down half a size rather than a complete one. What’s more, the EVA thong straps felt very comfortable on our feet and didn’t chafe or cause blistering.

Even though the wide counterparts are for smaller sizes, it still is an excellent feature to have. Moreover, the Y-shaped faux leather strap even has extra soft fabric at the bottom. So our feet didn’t chafe or break out into blisters after a long day of wearing them. All in all, they felt like a dream on our feet for when we were trapezing around the pool or the beach.
