First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips on local attractions and restaurants. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Speaking of which, this hotel is set in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. We were just a short walk away from the vibrant Times Square, iconic Broadway theaters, and the modern Hudson Yards.

One of the things people love the most is that kids eat free. It makes dining out with the family much more affordable. The hotel was also a comfortable base for our adventures. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was a great way to start each day. Moreover, there was an in-house gym for when we wanted to burn some calories.

Though not the fanciest, the Holiday Inn Express – NYC Brooklyn – Sunset Park is still a nice option for those who prioritize convenience. After all, this hotel is just a two-minute stroll from the subway station. While it’s a bit of a trek to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Bridge Park, the easy subway access made getting around a piece of cake. We couldn’t ask for a better location.

This hotel is pretty straightforward, but we found our room to be comfortable and functional. It was equipped with everything we wanted – desks for working, reliable Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV to unwind. The little extras like microwaves, minifridges, and coffeemakers were also a nice addition. That said, we loved starting our days with the complimentary Express Start breakfast. It was a simple but satisfying spread.

Iconic landmarks like Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty were within easy reach. Plus, with the subway practically on our doorstep, we could easily reach any corner of this bustling metropolis.

Based on our experience, this hotel is a great place to recharge after exploring the city. Our room, though simple, was super comfortable. It had everything we needed, but the highlight was starting our day with the complimentary Express Start Breakfast Bar. We truly loved those cinnamon rolls and yogurt. Other amenities worth mentioning include the modern fitness center and the business center.

Since we wanted to spoil ourselves, we picked the Premium Room on the high floor. We loved the wood accents that gave the room a somewhat cozy feel. There was also a work desk that came in handy when we needed to catch up on work. Another bonus that may thrill you: kids can stay for free!

The Holiday Inn Express New York City Chelsea thoroughly impressed us. The hotel’s modern design, coupled with its prime location, made for an unforgettable New York City experience. While there are many rooms to choose from, we ended up with the King Room that came with a spa bath. It was everything we dreamed of. Starting each day with a delicious complimentary hot breakfast was another bonus. And when it came to staying fit, the on-site fitness center allowed us to maintain our routine without missing a beat.

Another selling point? It’s none other than the hotel’s location. We found ourselves surrounded by iconic landmarks, world-class shopping, and an endless array of dining options. From exploring Central Park to catching a show at Madison Square Garden, everything was within easy reach. We spent our days strolling through SoHo, discovering hidden gems in Chelsea Market, and soaking up the vibrant energy of Times Square.

Best for Nightlife. Another fantastic addition to this list is the Holiday Inn Lower East Side. The hotel’s sleek design and convenient location near subway stations and restaurants made getting around a breeze. Plus, being able to walk to the Williamsburg Bridge in just 16 minutes was a fantastic bonus. But when we were tired, we would just do nothing in our Premier King Room. It was a cozy and stylish retreat with its walnut floors and comfortable bed. We also loved the little extras like the choice of pillows.

The on-site restaurant was a fun spot with its ’50s vibe and lip-smacking American food. We especially loved that kids 12 and under ate free – a huge plus for families! Meanwhile, the gym was well-equipped for our workout needs, and it was convenient to have a snack shop and business center on-site as well. We’re sure you won’t regret staying at the Holiday Inn Wall Street. Right in the heart of the Financial District, iconic landmarks like the 9/11 Memorial, One World Trade Center, and Battery Park were only a stone’s throw away. It was incredibly convenient for us to explore all that the Big Apple has to offer. Plus, with the subway lines nearby, we could go to NYC’s hotspots easily.

For our stay, we decided to stay in the Executive King Room. It was big, clean, and comfy – everything we wanted. We also appreciated the in-room amenities like the coffee maker and free high-speed Wi-Fi. The fitness center was another bonus for us when we wanted to keep up with our workout routine. Our stay at the hotel was a positive experience, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a centrally located and comfortable place to stay in New York.

Best for Business Travelers. The Holiday Inn Express – Times Square South is easily one of the best IHG hotels in New York City. With its prime location on 36th Street, we were just steps away from iconic landmarks, world-class shopping, and bustling business districts. This hotel caters to business travelers, too. Major corporations like Macy’s, Marsh and McLennan, Amazon, and Google are all within easy reach. And with a 24-hour business center equipped with everything you need to stay productive, work and leisure seamlessly blend.

But it’s not all about work! The city that never sleeps is right outside our door. Broadway shows and the thrill of shopping on Sixth Avenue are just a few clicks away. However, we didn’t mind spending our spare time relaxing in our room. We booked the King Room and it came with everything we needed. Better yet, we could choose whether to have hard or soft pillows.

Best Overall. Sitting on top of this list is the Holiday Inn New York City – Times Square. Set right in the heart of the Garment District, this hotel is the perfect base for exploring everything the Big Apple has to offer. We were truly blown away by the hotel’s prime location. Iconic attractions like Times Square, Bryant Park, and Madison Square Garden were just steps away. It felt like we were truly immersed in the city’s pulse. Plus, having easy access to public transportation made exploring other neighborhoods a breeze.

Also, our King Room was a cozy retreat. We loved the modern amenities like the in-room coffee maker and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Have we mentioned the stunning city views? This NYC Holiday Inn Times Square hotel also offers great perks for families with their kid’s stay-and-eat-free policy. While we were out exploring, we couldn’t resist trying out the local bike share program, Citi Bike. It gave us the chance to see the city like a true New Yorker.
