Not our first time in Japan but we’re now in one of the best cities and one of our favorites! Hotel New Otani Makuhari
11
The Hotel New Otani Makuhari has much to offer, regardless of the exceptional service and the friendly staff. We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days as we wanted the nearest location to the Makuhari Messe. We could walk to the location using the covered bridge that connects the hotel with our destination. It’s a very creative idea that we loved a lot; we didn’t even want to use any means of transportation. However, if you’re going to the city center or elsewhere, the JR Kaihinmakuhari Train Station is just a couple of minutes away from the hotel. You can walk the distance too.
We booked a non-smoking superior double room for this trip. The room was for two people, but we swear it can accommodate up to four. The room is so spacious; even the bathroom is spacious. Moreover, it has all the amenities we needed during our stay. Not to forget that the hotel offers more than one dining option. We had Chinese, Japanese, and European meals all in the same hotel at different restaurants.

Mitsui Garden Hotel

Some days, we want to stay as far as possible from the city center to enjoy the serenity and calmness of the city, but other days, we need to be at the heart of Chiba. That’s why we chose the Mitsui Garden Hotel. This hotel is close to the monorail and a short distance to Tokyo station. We found a shopping center nearby with everything we thought of, whether food, electronics, clothes, and souvenirs. We would stay here whenever we were short on time and needed everything within an hour of our stay.
The hotel has a special vibe we felt once we entered the lobby. It has a great Art Deco style with black walls in most rooms. It looks very classical and neat but not oldish at all. We didn’t have to bother ourselves with what to eat today for dining options. There are many convenience stores, restaurants, and markets around the area. Plus, the hotel itself has a Japanese restaurant on site that offers delicious food. We tried the breakfast there, and it was beyond amazing.

Best value for money. We had a wonderful stay at The QUBE Hotel in a room overlooking the bay. The view was amazing, and the room itself was amazing, too. We had a very comfortable stay here as the staff cared a lot about the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping spend more than the average time in each room but at the end, we get a neat and nice-smelling room. We couldn’t ask for more now.
One of the best experiences we had here was the bathhouse. This spa is similar to the ones offered by other hotels but with a Japanese taste. Another reason for choosing this hotel is the price. We paid less than what we usually pay for other hotels in Chiba, Japan, but we got the same service. We recommend the Japanese-styled suite for those looking for a pure Asian experience. Also, we made sure we tried the three restaurants available on-site for a fulfilling experience.

Hotel Port Plaza

We reached Hotel Port Plaza in around an hour using the monorail. In Chiba, reaching different accommodation spots from Narita International Airport is a pretty much acceptable duration. So, we believe this hotel has a good location. It isn’t only about the airport but also the various services around the hotel. For example, the nearest train station had a supermarket inside that works 24/7. We usually pack our bags with snacks and drinks to keep ourselves full during the night. We don’t have to buy food in the morning because breakfast is mouth-watering.
We had a room that overlooked Tokoyo Bay; this is the best option this hotel offers. There are double and triple rooms at different rates. If you aren’t interested in the view, you can save by booking an economy room. Aside from the view, we could reach Makuhari Messe in a few minutes without vehicles and just walk. This is one of the most famous places in Japan. Every time we come to Japan, we usually have plans to attend one or more events at this venue. You can check their calendar here.

Hotel Green Tower Makuhari

We enjoyed our vacation a lot at Hotel Green Tower Makuhari. We didn’t need to search for restaurants or local markets to buy food as the hotel has one of the best restaurants in the city. Breakfast is served every day on-site; it offers an open buffet breakfast with a wide selection of Japanese food. We were encouraged to try lunch in the same restaurant, and luckily we did. This is the best Sushi we have tasted in a while; Chinese dishes are also mouth-watering.
Apart from food, the hotel is worth its money. The rooms are clean, neat, and look a bit classic. They have some options, including studios, smoking and non-smoking rooms. One thing is missing here: a WiFi connection. We didn’t know that WiFi was only available in the lobby until we were already in our room. When we asked the staff, they told us that WiFi devices are rented, but luckily, we had our portable WiFi router. You can check our list of the best pocket WiFi for Japan so as not to fall into this trap.

Keisei Hotel Miramare

Best location. Regardless of the plans we have for our vacation here, everything is easily reachable if we stay at Keisei Hotel Miramare. The Chiba-chu Metro Station is literally below our stay. We take the train from there to anywhere in Chiba or Tokoyo. Most places are reachable via train. The most famous place, namely Tokoyo Disney Resort, is reachable via a free shuttle from the hotel. It’s one of the places we visit nearly every time we’re here in Japan. We have a list of the best places to visit in Japan during the fall, so go check it if you’re planning a Japanese trip.
Back at our hotel, we didn’t have to use our portable WiFi router because they offered free wired internet in the rooms. The setting inside the room is comfortable; we believe it’s a suitable accommodation for business trips. Even though it’s located at the heart of the city, the rooms are still quiet and comfy. Not to mention that they offer a great breakfast buffet that left us full till the night.

When looking for hotels in Chiba, Japan, travelers usually look for location, budget-friendly options, comfortable rooms, and exceptional services. Daiwa Roynet Chiba-Chuo combines all of these features in the same place. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, but the bathroom was exceptional. All the rooms have spacious bathrooms with lots of amenities and care products for males and females. They’re so attentive, and we felt like they wanted their guests to feel at home as much as possible.
The room we booked had a massage chair; this was the first time we’d had such a thing in a hotel room. After a long day of amusement, we rushed back to the hotel to enjoy a little massage using this chair; it’s so comfy. As for the location, it’s close to the previous Keisei Hotel Miramare. This means it’s also near the same train station. This area is very vibrant, and there are shops everywhere, so we could get whatever we wanted at any time of the day.
“This hotel is beyond amazing! Can’t talk more about the bathroom, it has cery good care products and amenties. Everything else including the food is exceptionsl.”

Hotel Francs

It was so easy for us to get from Narita airport to Hotel Francs the first time we came here. We were looking for hotels that are easily reachable in Chiba Tokyo. There are many options around this area, but we chose this one in particular as it offers a shuttle service to and from the airport. We contacted the hotel staff before booking and they sent us the shuttle schedule. It isn’t a free service but definitely cheaper than taking a taxi and more convenient than using the train, especially with so much luggage.
The hotel isn’t very large, yet, we had a very cozy and comfortable room there. We also enjoyed our breakfast at the on-site restaurant serving traditional food. For a change, we looked for other Japanese restaurants around, and we found a variety of them two blocks away from the hotel. It has an excellent location. To see photos of the rooms and dining options, check out their official website here. There are a variety of options for rooms and suites, and we took some time exploring the options before choosing a quadrable room. It had four beds, two of which were bunk beds, saving more space. This room is highly recommended if you’re a group of four people.

Best Staff. Hotel Sunroute offers a decent stay with exceptional services right at the heart of the city. We could see the whole town from our room window, and the restaurant on the fourth floor had amazing views as well. Once we arrived at the hotel, the staff were keen on pleasing us in all the possible ways. We had our room prepared in a couple of minutes and all the amenities at our disposal. The room was so spacious that we could easily move freely and open our suitcases. The beds were also wide, even though each was made for only one person.
We enjoyed an open-buffet breakfast with international dishes and mouth-watering Japanese delights when we woke up the following day. After a long day outside exploring the city, we got back to our comfortable room to enjoy a hot bath. We wanted extra toiletries, and the staff fulfilled our request in seconds. On the next day, they asked us if we needed anything extra. They were so polite and keen on our ease.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ekimae

Best amenities. When it comes to comfort, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ekimae is one of the most comfortable stays in the city. It has a couple of features we don’t usually find in one hotel. If we were to talk about the available amenities, we would have a massage chair in our room, an armchair, a table, a working desk, and other regular amenities. Further, we had complimentary coffee each morning and had the chance to try a sample skin care product the day we arrived.
Moreover, the rooms were so clean. We loved how the housekeeping staff took care of our room every day. We never had a comment or needed to ask for anything. Although the room was a bit small, this didn’t bother us at all as we had everything we needed there. To have a good night’s sleep, the blackout curtains are super black to prevent any light from entering the room and bothering us so early. Another plus is the location. The location of the hotel is the best for us. It’s close to the JR train station, so we could easily access the station once we were out of the hotel.

APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari

APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari is located a walking distance from the JR train station. We loved the concept of this hotel as it’s a bit old but offers modern amenities. Our experience there was unmatched as we tried different on-site restaurants to explore various Japanese and international dishes. We also had a few laps in the swimming pool to chill in the morning before we started our day in Chiba.
Even more, our accommodation was made more comfortable with the elegant rooms and plush beds. we couldn’t ask for more to feel comfy throughout our stay. It’s half an hour or a bit more by bus to reach the hotel from the nearest airport. Once we arrived, we didn’t take any time to check in. They have automatic check-in machines, which make the process very easy. We can also choose the room we prefer using this machine, depending on availability. Overall, the hotel left us with an enjoyable experience that we would love to have again.
