Arroyo Pinion Hotel
11
Located in West Sedona, the Arroyo Pinion Hotel offered us the perfect setting to relax and unwind. We were surrounded by the beautiful red rocks of Thunder Mountain, making us indulge more in the rustic vibe. The hotel provided us with various amenities that helped us enjoy the serene landscape. The outdoor pool area with its cabanas and jacuzzi sure helped a lot in keeping us tranquil, but nothing beats soaking in a bubble bath in our room.
Out of all the cozy guestrooms at the hotel, we opted for the Jacuzzi Suite, which came with a hot tub right in the room, a private patio, and a fireplace for the ultimate relaxation. The room also had other mod-cons like a cable TV, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. That said, whilst we love exploring Sedona, all of the amenities in our room made it quite challenging to step outside. And with the staff being so hospitable, offering us free breakfast, and other pleasantries, we for sure had a great time at Arroyo Pinion Hotel.

Southwest Inn at Sedona

Southwest Inn at Sedona is just a classic cozy hotel that offers deluxe amenities packed with the comfort you can find in a bed & breakfast. The hotel’s location on a main street in West Sedona also made it easy for us to travel around whether it is to the closest trailhead or to the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village.
That said, after a day under the Arizona sun, the hotel provided us with a couple of amenities to help us cool down. The rooftop terrace was our go-to place to catch sunsets and the outdoor pool was everyone’s favorite area to chill. But most of the time, a simple lazing around in our well-appointed room was enough, especially when we had a bathtub to loosen up our tired bones. The bathtub wasn’t the fanciest, but it sure gets the job done. Besides, after running a hot bath, we’d usually binge-watch a show, or cozy up on our private balcony.

Whispering Creek Bed & Breakfast

For a wholesome and quaint retreat, we always love staying at a B&B like the Whispering Creek Bed & Breakfast. They always have that charming homely vibe to them that never fails to make us feel like we’re home away from home, with the added convenience of having an attentive staff. Plus, the Uptown location puts us right in the heart of Sedona, with local shops, restaurants, and the bustling TLAQUEPAQUE just a mile away.
That said, despite its center location, the B&B somehow still gave us a sense of serenity and privacy. The blossoming garden and the plant-covered patio quickly became our favorite escapes. Besides that, our cozy King Room also provided us with the well-needed respite after a day of adventure. It’s equipped with a smart TV, a fireplace, and a private patio. Most importantly, the whirlpool tub in our en-suite was hands down one of our favorite amenities in the room. Getting on the tub before hitting the hay always made us sleep better.
Furthermore, our love for the B&B doesn’t stop there. The hosts and innkeeper deserve their own praises. Every morning before we head out, enjoying our free homemade breakfast was the best way to start our day. And since the B&B is also pet-friendly, we’d sometimes get a chance to meet other furry guests, making our trip automatically better.

Orchards Inn

Best location. The Orchards Inn is one of the best hotels in Downtown Sedona. It’s directly next to the iconic Eagle Dancer South roundabout, with various shops and restaurants dotting the street. To say that we had our share of retail shopping and bar hopping is an understatement. We also didn’t miss out on another outdoor excursion in the Rocky Red Mountains.
That said, after all the excitement, the hotel gave us a haven to go back to and relax. For starters, the outdoor patio overlooking the Sonoran Desert was the perfect place for us to enjoy a sip of wine while watching the sunset. Dipping into the pool always gave us instant rejuvenation. The hotel also offers happy hours, right around the time we come back from our excursion.
But among all, we enjoyed the simple comfort of our room. We got to stay in one of the Premium rooms, and it came with a beehive fireplace, and a balcony with the most incredible view. Of course, the en-suite is equipped with a hot tub, because our stay wouldn’t be as enjoyable if we didn’t get to draw a hot bath every now and then.

Casa Sedona Inn

Most romantic. Casa Sedona Inn offered us the perfect secluded accommodation in West Sedona where we could fully take in the peaceful landscape without distractions. This hidden gem prides itself as one of the most romantic hotels in Sedona, with its artfully design architecture, and warm interior. Being located on the foot of Thunder Mountain also played a lot in making the hotel feel cocooned by the landscape.
That said, the amenities here further added to the hotel’s relaxing atmosphere. The on-site restaurant, for one, is surrounded by a blossoming garden and shows a direct view of the landscape. There was also an outdoor jacuzzi, which we thoroughly enjoyed. But when we were not out, we mostly stayed in our room. It was as romantically decorated as the rest of the hotel and was equipped with an extra-plush bed, a fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the garden. Luckily, most of the rooms here also have a spa bath. So we were able to doubly indulge.

Las Posadas of Sedona

Located in the quiet Village of Oak Creek, our experience at Las Posadas of Sedona was the epitome of peace. For one, the hotel isn’t only a main street, so we were extra secluded from the noise. Secondly, the hotel sports an adobe architecture with a terracotta-colored exterior, blending us right into the red rock landscape. Every night under the starry sky, it’d feel like we were out in nature, and not on a beautiful boutique hotel.
Furthermore, the hospitality we got here was exemplary. If the hotel’s facade wasn’t already giving us the height of serenity, our guest room surely did. With us opting for their Deluxe Suite, we got to enjoy not only a cozy room but a cozy room with a deep soaking tub. The classic luxury of the en-suite only added to the relaxation we were already getting with a nice warm bath. The rest of the room was also just as magnificent, with a fireplace in the seating area and a kitchenette.
Lastly, the hotel’s amenities just further made us enjoy our stay more. They had a pool area, complete with beach chairs, and a fire pit area. There’s also a gym for our convenience, and we got to have freebies including delicious homemade breakfasts, and free parking.

Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Best view. Staying at The Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel was peak leisure. The combination of the hotel’s hilltop location, amenities, and hospitality gave us the perfect setting for a healing experience. The view from the hotel was unreal. Since it’s high up, we got to see the whole landscape of Sedona. At night, the city would light up, making the view as breathtaking as the skyline. Although we were removed from the city center, the hotel offers shuttle services for our convenience.
Furthermore, there were so many complimentary amenities we could enjoy. Taking a dip into the heated outdoor pool was one, and there was daily meditation, daily yoga, daily happy hours, smores at the viewing bay, and weekly stargazing with an expert. We practically got to enjoy all that Sedona could offer at the hotel.
And as a cherry on top, they’re one of the hotels in Sedona with a hot tub in the room. We only had the standard one, and luckily they came with a beautiful marble en-suite with a deep tub, adding to our already relaxing experience. Every day, we’d end the day by taking a long bath after we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the city. And while the sleek-looking bathroom was amazing, our room also came with neat amenities including a cable TV, and more.

The Inn at Thunder Mountain

The Inn at Thunder Mountain is perfectly nestled just under Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock, giving us a much-needed reprieve. And with that, we were also thoroughly pampered by the hotel’s services. For one, enjoying their gourmet made-from-scratch, multi-course breakfast was one of the heights of our stay. And after serving us with some of the best feasts we’ve had, the attentive staff would offer assistance to plan out our activities in Sedona for the day. Whether it is by giving us recommendations on where to go, or by helping us book the activities.
As for accommodations, the hotel presented us with luxurious suites designed to make us lost in the comfort of nostalgia. Every room is artfully decorated with Southwestern style, and equipped with amenities that made it hard for us to step outside. We stayed at the Ghost Rider suite and it was perfect. It had all the amenities we needed, including extra ones like a fireplace. But the star of the show was the jacuzzi on our private balcony. Not only were we able to enjoy the pure relaxation of soaking in a jetted tub, but we also got to do it while taking in the surrounding landscape. What’s best is that all suites come with either a hot tub or jacuzzi, so it’ll all come down to personal preferences.

Adobe Grand Villas

This time we wanted to indulge more in ourselves by staying at a villa in Adobe Grand Villas. It’s located in West Sedona, with the sprawling Red Rock on our horizon, and a great many pampering waiting for us. That said, the services here were next level. When we got to the hotel, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles, and also warm complimentary bread. From then on, the exemplary hospitality just kept on coming, including getting delectable complimentary breakfasts.
Now, the hotel has a selection of mansion-style villas, each boasting a unique theme meticulously designed to ensure our utmost comfort. For us, it was like staying in a theme park, or a movie set. There was a saloon-bar-themed villa with wagon wheels beds, French Quarter-themed villas, and classic-old Western-themed villas, among others.
”We never thought that luxury could be delivered in such a whimsical way, but alas, the villas at Adobe Grand Villas introduced us to something new every day.”
WOW Travel
While sleeping in a wagon wheel bed seems intriguing, we opted for the classic old Western for the romantic vibe, and it was stunning, spacious, and brimming with amenities. We had a private entrance with a personal garden and patio, a kitchen, a dining area, and cozy linens. We loved everything about it, and the best part was our bathroom, where we could cozy up and luxuriate in a tranquil soak beside the fireplace in the jetted bathtub to our hearts’ content.

A Sunset Chateau
2
A Sunset Chateau is everything we wanted a bed & breakfast to be. It was secluded in West Sedona, surrounded by a lush garden, had a hiking trail basically as its backyard, and teeming with complimentary amenities. The B&B owners are two artists, so the whole place is beautifully decorated with a mix of modern adobe architecture and curated artworks. Furthermore, its hilltop location also guaranteed us a 360 view of the surrounding red rocks, making the B&B our perfect sanctuary.
Moreover, like the B&B, our Superior Studio Suire was also filled with beautiful art pieces, on top of all the convenient in-room amenities. The kitchen was for sure helpful, we also loved the watching area with its fireplace, but our room was the best part. It was spacious and we had a jetted tub right in the room with us. It was big and could fit two people inside, adding to the already romantic vibe of the B&B.
Lastly, the services here were another cherry on top. The staff was so helpful throughout our stay. We were even offered a complimentary concierge. Plus, the complimentary gourmet breakfast was amazing, and when we were not soaking in the tub in our room, the outdoor jacuzzi and saltwater pool were our second favorite places to unwind.

L’Auberge De Sedona

Overall Best. L’Auberge De Sedona was the epitome of a luxury hotel in Sedona. Our time here was short of magical. It was the best place in Uptown Sedona to reconnect with nature and rejuvenate. Despite its central location, the hotel managed to make us feel fully secluded with its gardens and lush greenery.
Now, the creme de la creme was our cottage. We stayed at one of the Vista Cottages and it was an absolute dream. For us, the bathroom was our favorite part. The marble tiling made it look extra sleek, and the tub was the star of the room. It’s right next to a panoramic window that shows an expansive view of the red rocks. While viewing the mountains from our balcony was nice, it doesn’t compare to enjoying it while soaking in a jetted tub. As for the rest, the room came with luxurious designer furnishing, branded mod-cons, and an expansive balcony.
Furthermore, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure to give us personalized services, and we were provided with lots of complimentary services. The valet was especially kind for driving and picking us up from nearby restaurants and shopping centers. The hotel’s Cress on Oak Tree was hands down one of the best places we’ve eaten at in Sedona. Not only was the food amazing, but the ambiance was perfect. Moreover, we also got to enjoy other rejuvenating services like spa & massage, and other daily resort activities that differed each day. Overall, staying here was one of the highlights of our Sedone trips.

Where to Stay in Sedona
Sedona has three main areas that are divided into West Sedona, Uptown, and The Village of Oak Creek. Each of these areas has its own charm but on this list, we found West Sedona to be the ideal place for serene hotels. The area has more of a residential vibe, so there are more secluded hotels and resorts that offer the ultimate rejuvenation by, for example, having a hot tub in the room.
As for Uptown, it’s the most popular area in Sedona. It’s regarded as the central area with more touristy spots like art galleries, shopping centers, and more. That said, we found several gems in Uptown that provided us with amazing luxurious rooms with relaxing jetted tubs. Most of the Uptown hotels in this list specialize in providing a tranquil escape amidst the hustle and bustle, so rooms with bathtubs are essentials.
Furthermore, the Village of Oak Creek is quieter than both West Sedona and Uptown, making it a great choice for a more laid-back stay. Hotels here focus on relaxation, offering private hot tubs, heated pools, spa centers, and even yoga classes. With many nearby hiking trails, coming back to a warm bubble bath at the hotel provides the perfect reprieve.
Overall, Sedona in its entirety is known to be a resort town, so finding hotels in Sedona AZ with private hot tubs is an easy task. It’ll just come down to your preferences, and mostly your itinerary to find the ideal place to stay at. And if you find yourself in the town again for more unwinding, we think you’ll be interested in our list of the best spa hotels in Sedona.
