First of all, it’s just a short drive from must-see spots like the Chapel of the Holy Cross and Slide Rock State Park. We loved being able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants while still having those beautiful red rock views all around us.
Our room was super cozy, with all the essentials we needed. Think of fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and even a microwave and mini fridge. We appreciated the little touches, like the coffeemaker for those early mornings and the balcony where we could sit and enjoy the fresh air. If you’re traveling with a group or planning a longer stay, the villas and cottages with full kitchens are the perfect options.

You won’t regret staying at the Hyatt Vacation Club at Piñon Pointe. Right in the heart of town, we could easily walk to shops, restaurants, and even the Sedona Arts Center. We loved how close we were to all the red rock magic, yet still had a cozy, private spot to come back to.
One of the highlights for us was definitely the pool area. The outdoor pool is heated (a huge win when the desert evenings get a little chilly), and the two whirlpool tubs were exactly what we needed for unwinding after hiking. We also played a bit of tennis on the courts, which was a fun way to stay active.

Looking for the best hotel pools in Sedona AZ? You should stay at the Sky Ranch Lodge! The seasonal outdoor pool was to die for. It was our favorite spot to unwind in, which was big and clean. We also relaxed in the jacuzzi, and even sipped wine at the retro Airstream bar. There was also a free shuttle service that made getting around super convenient.
That’s not all, as the views were absolutely unreal! From our spot atop Airport Mesa, we had front-row seats to the stunning red rock formations like Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock. It felt like we were living inside a postcard. The lodge had this really peaceful, tucked-away vibe, with beautifully maintained gardens that made it feel like a quiet retreat.
We stayed in the Premier Rim King Room, and it was worth it. Featuring a fireplace, the room was super spacious. We also had all the little comforts we needed: a walk-in shower, comfy bed, coffee station, and even a private patio where we could soak in the views with our morning drinks.

From start to finish, we had a lot of fun at the Villas of Sedona. We were only a short drive away from all the must-see spots around Sedona. We spent our days hiking through those iconic red rock formations, exploring ancient ruins that felt like stepping back in time and wandering around downtown.
Honestly, this place felt like a home away from home, but with some serious perks. We made good use of both the indoor and outdoor pools (can’t pick a favorite), soaked in the hot tub after long hikes, and even hit the sauna one evening. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the kids had a blast between the playground and the game room.
We stayed in a one-bedroom loft villa, and it was just right for us. The space was cozy but spacious, with two levels, a full kitchen where we made breakfast each morning, and a little terrace where we sipped coffee with a view. Upstairs, there was a Murphy bed that pulled down easily, and downstairs had a comfy sitting area with a sofa bed and a fireplace.

The location gave us the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, and even warmer, freshly baked bread.
We chose the one-bedroom loft villa. The two-story layout gave us plenty of space to spread out, with a super comfy Murphy bed in the loft and a full kitchen downstairs that came in handy. We also loved the gas fireplace and the comfy seating area, as they made movie nights extra relaxing. Plus, having our own balcony to enjoy morning coffee with Sedona’s red rock views? Magical!
Every morning, we started our day with a complimentary gourmet breakfast prepared by the chef. We also took full advantage of the outdoor heated pool and spa, which are available year-round. On top of that, the concierge services were so helpful with tips on hikes and things to do.

We had such a memorable stay at Sedona Springs Resort! This place gave us that perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. It’s also super close to all the main attractions, which made it easy for us to explore the area without spending too much time driving. Best Pet-Friendly. We were charmed from the moment we arrived at the El Portal Sedona Hotel. Tucked away in Sedona’s art district, the hotel feels like a hidden gem. Yet, it’s just a short walk to galleries, shops, and some fantastic restaurants. We loved that we could step outside and be on the trail to Marg’s Draw within minutes.
One of the perks we didn’t expect but definitely appreciated was the complimentary day pass to the Sedona Spa next door at Los Abrigados. We took full advantage of the gym and the two outdoor pools. The spa also offers massages and other treatments for purchase, which we’re bookmarking for our next visit. Another big plus: the hotel is super welcoming to both kids and pets, which made us feel even more at home. Just a heads-up – pets aren’t allowed in the pool area.
We stayed in the Garden Court Suite and instantly fell in love with its unique charm. The room has this cozy garden vibe, and we were greeted by a beautiful stained glass door that opened into a warm sitting area. The twin-sized pullout was great for our third travel buddy, and we really appreciated the pet-friendly setup with its own little patio.

Best for Families. Families will have a blast staying at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock. Located in the quieter outskirts of Sedona, we were close enough to the energy of downtown but far enough to take in the peaceful desert vibes. It was super convenient being only a mile and a half from the Red Rock Visitor Center, and we loved how easy it was to get to amazing hiking and biking trails.
The resort itself is very family-friendly, and the pool area was a highlight. The main pool is heated year-round to a perfect 82 degrees, so even when the sun dipped behind the red rocks, we were still cozy in the water. There were water toys and fun splash features that kids enjoyed. For a more peaceful vibe, you can check out the lap pool near the spa and wellness center.
All of the accommodations here are fantastic, but we ended up choosing the King Suite. The suite had a separate living area with a cozy fireplace, a full sleeper sofa with a chaise, and a dining nook with a microwave and mini-fridge. You won’t regret staying at Amara Resort & Spa. For us, the location couldn’t have been better. We were steps away from quirky boutiques, cozy cafes, and that artsy street lined with bronze sculptures that just begs for a photo op. It made exploring the area super easy, especially for us who wanted to soak in all the energy without needing to drive around constantly.
One of our favorite things to do was lounging by the infinity pool, which seemed to spill right into the untouched natural landscape. We spent our evenings sipping drinks by the firepits, chatting with other guests, and watching the sun dip behind Snoopy Rock.

Best Views. We truly had an unforgettable escape at Enchantment! Tucked away in Boynton Canyon, just a bit north of town, the resort feels like it’s in its own peaceful little world. The drive itself through the high desert was enough to get us into vacation mode, winding past red rock cliffs and quiet stretches of road until we reached the canyon’s heart.
What took our breath away, though, was the scenery. The red rock formations surround the entire resort, and we had views of them from just about everywhere, even the pool. Speaking of the pool, that ended up being our favorite hangout spot. We spent a good chunk of time just floating, soaking up the sun, and staring at those iconic Sedona cliffs. And when we weren’t poolside, we were trying out the tennis courts or just watching others play croquet.
Meanwhile, our Casita Studio was the perfect cozy retreat. It had a warm fireplace, a handy little kitchenette for snacks and coffee, and the best part: a private deck! It was where we would sit, wine in hand, and take in the canyon views in complete peace.

Best Location. Staying at L’Auberge De Sedona was like stepping into a dream. The resort is tucked away in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon, giving it this peaceful, tucked-away feel even though it’s just a quick stair climb from uptown Sedona. Most mornings, we either hiked up to town to grab coffee or joined the yoga class offered right at the resort. The hotel even had complimentary rides to get us to nearby shops and galleries.
One of the absolute highlights was L’Apothecary Spa. We booked a massage by the creek, and it was next-level relaxing with the sound of the water in the background. Afterward, we lounged by the heated pool and even dipped into the hot tub. Both were open year-round, which was a treat. Le Petit Bar La Piscine was serving up poolside snacks and drinks while we soaked up that Arizona sun. There’s even a little beach next to Oak Creek.
For our stay, we booked one of the Vista Cottages, and it was so cozy and well-designed. The colors inside felt like an extension of the natural surroundings, and everything was super thoughtful. The cottage also came with a fireplace and a whirlpool tub, and we made full use of both. Waking up to Red Rock views every morning was just the cherry on top.
