When one thinks of Caesars, one only thinks about Sin City, the Strip, and the huge, iconic casino hotels. However, the brand just opened its very first non-gaming hotel without a casino, the amazing Caesars Republic Scottsdale, Arizona, which is great for a relaxing getaway. Not only were our nights more restful, but also the vibe was quieter, the deals were excellent, and there were a lot more other things to do. And, of course, the Scottsdale setting couldn’t be more gorgeous. We loved this outpost from the iconic brand for the stunning scenery, unique design touches, high-end amenities, like always, and a modern, upscale experience. Here’s a detailed review of Caesars Republic Scottsdale, the first and, currently, the only non-gambling hotel from the iconic Caesars brand.
An Excellent Location
The location of Caesars Republic Scottsdale, just like its other outposts, couldn’t be more perfect. It sits in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, right beside the Scottsdale Fashion Square, one of the most high-end shopping districts in not just the city, but all of Arizona. So, it was not only easy to get to the resort, but we were also in immediate proximity to fine dining, local galleries and sights, and designer boutiques, as well as Downtown Scottsdale’s buzzing nightlife. What’s more, we could easily get around the region too, thanks to the central location.
The location was an elegant mix of vibes: we felt immersed in the vibrant urban core of this desert city while also being close to the scenery of Camelback Mountain. It feels more than just a place to crash: it’s a lifestyle destination, with scenic beauty, culture, and retail highlights all converging around it. So, whether your Scottsdale plan is an urban exploration trip, a romantic weekend, or a shopping getaway, the location is perfect and an excellent base for soaking in what the city has to offer.

The Wonderful Non-Gaming Vibe
One of the reasons we chose to stay at this Caesars outpost is the fact that it’s entirely non-gaming, despite being a Caesars property. In fact, Caesars Republic Scottsdale is the first and only current Caesars property in the United States to be entirely non-gaming, and is one of its most distinctive features.
We loved this shift from the typical “casino-resort” identity and the bold reimagining of what a Caesars property could be. So, the vibe is that of a lifestyle hotel that focuses on local cultural integration, wellness, social spaces, and design. Its spaces and amenities radiated relaxed elegance and sophisticated energy, whether it was the impressive lobby, the rooftop swimming pool, or the dining space. The property leans into Scottsdale’s laidback, sun-drenched, desert vibe, where we could soak up the desert air while socializing and unwinding.
However, since the property is still integrated with Caesars Rewards, we could still earn loyalty points on dining and stays even though there’s no gaming.

Serene, Swanky Digs
The rooms and suites at Caesars Republic Scottsdale feel like carefully designed and put-together urban shelters — they’re functional yet stylish, reflecting the hotel’s upscale but bold vibe. So, there’s elegance, but with a hint of rebellious luxury.
We had the choice of 265 rooms and suites, where the floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the desert or city took center stage. For something above the ordinary, there are 29 luxury suites, including wellness suites with Peloton bikes. Of course, the zenith is the 11th-floor penthouse suites, which have full kitchens and expansive private patios. With 360-degree views of the Camelback Mountain, they’re the real ticket if you’re looking to splurge. However, the décor across them all is contemporary and stylish — think neutral hues and clean lines, striking a balance between warmth and minimalism. Furthermore, there are plentiful practical touches: huge smart TVs, plush beds, sleek bathrooms, and, interestingly, liquor display cabinets in every room.

An Elevated Dining Experience
Dining at Caesars Republic Scottsdale is a major highlight, with the culinary ecosystem helping the hotel carve out a unique identity. We could choose from a variety of dining moods, from dramatic social evening scenes to laid-back café vibes. Firstly, there are the two signature restaurants helmed by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis: Pronto by Giada and Luna by Giada, with the former being casual and all-day café-style dining and the latter being a refined, Italian fine-dining venue. We loved this duality, as we’d be at Pronto by the day and Luna by the night.
If that wasn’t enough, the rooftop SEVEN Pool Lounge added yet another dimension to our culinary experience. During the day, we’d sip poolside cocktails and nibble on curated bites, and at night, it was all about the huge 4K LED screen and events. Did we mention the upcoming Vanderpump, which will add even more flair? Yes!

An Oasis Of Relaxation
Caesars Republic Scottsdale was designed keeping relaxation in mind, with two distinct pools: the 7th-floor rooftop SEVEN Pool & Lounge, and the ground floor’s Cleopatra’s Pool & Bar. Cleopatra’s Pool & Bar is the more dynamic “party pool,” with a lively, social atmosphere, VIP cabanas, and even DJ-led events on weekends. It’s designed for enjoying a vibrant daytime pool scene, socializing and mingling, and soaking up the music and the sun. However, our favorite was the 7th-floor SEVEN Pool & Lounge, which offered a panoramic and more elevated experience. With shareable bites, curated cocktails, chic cabanas and daybeds, and sweeping views of Camelback Mountain, this rooftop space was the epitome of celebration and relaxation. In fact, it even hosts events like evening gatherings and rooftop yoga, making it a flexible space.
This Caesars outpost does well even when it comes to fitness, with the fitness center sitting right next to the rooftop pool. What’s more, it includes yoga mats, kettlebells, free weights, a StairMaster, treadmills, and Peloton bikes. Did we mention that there are even rooftop yoga sessions on the Camelback Mountain-facing patio? Yes!
Overall, Caesars Republic Scottsdale strikes a thoughtful balance of social, energetic, revitalizing, and calm with its amenities.
