Best for Families. You can’t go wrong with Villas of Sedona. It has that sweet spot between comfort and adventure. Everything we wanted to see — from scenic trails to ancient ruins — was just a short drive away, and we got the most out of our trip without spending too much time in the car.
The resort had a cozy, family-friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. We rotated between the indoor and outdoor pools because, honestly, both were great. After long hikes, the hot tub and sauna were just what we needed to recharge. There was also a fitness center for when we were feeling motivated and a playground and game room that kept the kids busy while we relaxed.
Our One-Bedroom Loft Villa had the perfect layout for us. It had two levels, which gave us a little extra privacy, and the full kitchen meant we could whip up breakfast before heading out. There was a comfy sitting area downstairs with a fireplace and sofa bed, and upstairs featured a pull-down Murphy bed that was surprisingly comfortable. Plus, sipping coffee on the terrace with a Sedona sunrise? Pure magic.

Best Views. Have you ever stayed somewhere that just clicked? That’s how we felt at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas. It didn’t take us long to be wowed by the red rock views. On top of that, we were so close to downtown shops, restaurants, and local attractions like Slide Rock and Chapel of the Holy Cross. It made exploring Sedona so easy and stress-free.
Our room had all the comforts we needed. We’re talking about fast Wi-Fi, a microwave, a mini fridge, a flat-screen TV, and even a coffeemaker for our early starts. We spent time out on the balcony soaking up the fresh air and views. For longer trips or bigger groups, the villas and cottages with full kitchens are a fantastic upgrade, and we’re already eyeing them for our next visit.
The amenities here were surprisingly extensive. We alternated between the indoor and outdoor pools depending on the time of day, and the hot tub was a lovely way to end the night. Best Location. We had such a memorable and laid-back stay at Sedona Springs Resort. From the moment we arrived, we felt like everything was set up to help us relax. Yet, we were still close enough to all the excitement Sedona had to offer. It was super easy to hop in the car and hit all the big sightseeing spots, which gave us more time to explore and less time stuck on the road.
The resort had way more amenities than we expected. As one of the best hotels with indoor pool Sedona AZ has to offer, it has a sparkling and refreshing indoor pool. Additionally, there are also outdoor pools and a whole lineup of hot tubs. We found ourselves hopping between hot soaks and refreshing swims all day long. Meanwhile, the game room kept us entertained in the evenings, and it was nice having a fitness center on-site to keep up with our routine (or at least attempt to).
We chose a Studio Suite, which turned out to be perfect for our trip. It had a comfy seating area with a sofa bed and a flat-screen TV, and the kitchenette made life easy when we didn’t feel like eating out. Plus, with grocery stores just minutes away, we were able to stock up on snacks and essentials. Everything felt clean, cozy, and convenient, just the way we like it.

Best Amenities. Have you ever wondered how a resort could be so flawless? That was what we felt about the Arroyo Roble Resort. Nestled right on Oak Creek in Uptown Sedona, it gave us a peaceful and scenic home base that was still close to everything we wanted to explore. Places like the Chapel of the Holy Cross were only a short drive away.
For our stay, we booked the Single-Level Villa, and walking in felt like stepping into our own private retreat. With views of the creek, we found it impossible not to relax from the moment we arrived. The villa itself was a generous 1,400 sq ft, which meant we had tons of space to stretch out. There were two gas fireplaces, a cozy living room, a full kitchen, and even a washer and dryer. We especially loved the private patio where we enjoyed morning coffee surrounded by trees and the sounds of the creek.
However, the real winner here was the clubhouse and resort amenities! The indoor pool was our favorite spot to wind down, and it wasn’t crowded at all.
