Views and comfort
The reviews don’t lie – our Crescent City Suite at the New Orleans Marriott was awesome. Was the suite worth the splurge? Definitely! Our 470 sq ft suite was huge and came with a separate living room and a giant plush king bed. We felt like royalty! But the real stars of the show were the views. We had huge windows overlooking both the Mississippi River and the French Quarter. It was breathtaking, especially at night when everything was lit up.
The little touches made a big difference, too. The bathroom had fancy THANN amenities, which felt super luxurious. Plus, every room at the hotel (including ours) has a mini fridge and a giant 55-inch smart TV. If you’re looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in New Orleans, the New Orleans Marriott Hotel 555 Canal Street is a great choice.

Dining convenience
We found the dining options at the New Orleans Marriott to be very convenient, especially for travelers on the go. Our favorite spot was definitely the Canal Street Pantry. It has a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, salads, and even homemade pizza, all perfect for grabbing a quick bite before exploring the city. This place also has a good drink list with beer, wine, and spirits, so we could fuel up with a coffee and pastry in the morning and enjoy a glass of wine with a sandwich for lunch.
If you’re looking for a place to unwind with friends or colleagues, 55 Fahrenheit is a great option. We would always go there whenever we needed a drink. Its handcrafted cocktails are amazing. It also offers light bites and shared plates, so you can enjoy a drink and some food without having a full sit-down meal.

Rooftop pool & modern gym
The New Orleans Marriott sure knew how to pamper us and keep us happy. The hotel boasts a beautiful rooftop pool for escaping the NOLA heat. We enjoyed lounging by the sparkling water and soaking up the panoramic city views. The pool deck offered a vibrant atmosphere, especially on Saturdays when the DJ was mixing the latest hits. It felt like the ultimate urban retreat!
We were also impressed with the state-of-the-art fitness center. The New Orleans Marriott Hotel 555 Canal Street didn’t skimp on the equipment – there were cardio and strength machines, including Peloton Bikes – which was great for anyone wanting to maintain their workout routine while traveling.

Fun for families
Based on our trip, we concluded that the New Orleans Marriott is a fantastic hotel for families. For one, families can easily go to the Louisiana Children’s Museum from the hotel, as it’s only a 14-minute drive away. This place is a huge hit. Though we didn’t go there, we managed to pass by it, and it was crowded.
However, we did visit Storyland in City Park, which is just a few songs away from the hotel. Being there felt like stepping into a storybook. Walking through the enchanted fairy tale settings sparked our imaginations and made for some unforgettable photos.
With all these attractions (and many more) just a short distance away, we’re sure you and your entire family won’t ever run out of things to do.
