Candlewood Suites Valdosta Mall, an IHG Hotel
11
Located just off of the I-75, Candlewood Suites Valdosta Mall proves to be one of the best dog-friendly hotels in Valdosta. Formerly, we chose to stay at this hotel for its proximity to the highway and the mall, but to our delight, the hotel impressed us with its fantastic pet-friendly hospitality.
Their PAW (Pets Are Welcomed) program guaranteed that our dog had a comfortable stay. That said, their pet policy includes a pet fee, a size restriction, and a maximum of two pets per room. Which is quite standard as far as the hotel’s pet policy goes. For one dog, we had to pay $25/pet per night and made sure that he weighed less than 80 lbs. Beyond that, it was a seamless check-in.
Plus, since pets were allowed to be unattended in the room, we could get a quick bite at the nearby mall or check out the hotel’s facilities. But when we just wanted to chill in the hotel, we were able to cook our meals thanks to the kitchen in our suite or have a fun BBQ session using the hotel’s BBQ facilities.

Best Hotel With No Pet Fee. Despite being a budget-friendly option, Motel 6-Valdosta, GA – University proved that quality doesn’t always come with a hefty price tag. Our stay at this motel was surprisingly pleasant, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment for both us and our pets.
“For us, the Motel-6 is just the gift that keeps on giving. The pet policy is very inclusive, and not to mention, budget-friendly. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.”
WOW Travel
On top of it all, the hotel’s pet policy was one we could get behind. For starters, both cats and dogs are also welcome. Each room is allowed a maximum of two pets, with no size restriction and no pet fee! There’s also an ample green area and several restaurants nearby, so walking our dog around won’t be a problem.
Furthermore, the hotel’s affordability did not translate to a compromise in service or cleanliness. The rooms were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was pleasantly cozy. The bed was comfy, and the room had wooden floors, which made it easier for us to clean up after our dog. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay here.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Valdosta, GA, made our stay with our cat a breeze! The room was comfy and cleverly laid out, striking that perfect balance between simplicity and coziness. We always love a suite guestroom since it has more space and a kitchenette. And our cat loved her sunspot under the widow.
What really stood out was the hotel’s easygoing pet policy—no fuss, just a laid-back extended stay. The hotel also made sure to welcome both cats and dogs with no size restrictions, so pet parents can worry less. As for the pet fee, it was a reasonable $50 for two pets for up to a 4-night stay and $75 for longer.
There might not be much when it comes to pet amenities, but our cat has water and food bowls waiting for her in our suite. Plus, the hotel provides a green area for pet potty breaks. Other than that, we deeply enjoyed the free facilities the hotel provided us. While the pool and fitness center were nice, the free breakfast and free parking were our highlights.

We can always depend on a Hilton hotel to provide us with pet-friendly accommodation while we’re in a new town, and fortunately, we got to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Valdosta on this trip. Like on our stay at any previous Hilton hotel, we always find comfort in the familiar pet policy. With only a pet fee of $50 per stay, we were able to bring our two dogs here and stay for up to 4 nights. It’s also reassuring that the pet policy is inclusive to cats and dogs, with no size restrictions. Now, if you’re planning to stay for longer, the pet fee does come to $75, which is still reasonable.
As an addition to our comfort, the guestroom we got was a suite with a bigger space to accommodate our two dogs. In terms of pet amenities, there wasn’t much, but at least the hotel provided us with an ample walking area and waste bags for our dogs. Beyond that, everything was to our liking. The location was especially great since it’s near I-75 and only about 10 minutes from downtown Valdosta.

The La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Valdosta is famous among traveling pet parents, so we didn’t hesitate to book a room when we were in town, and we weren’t disappointed. Upon our arrival, it was apparent that we weren’t the only pet parents staying here, which is cool since our dog got to meet some friends.
That said, the hotel itself was fantastic. It was clean and modern. The guestroom we got was pristine, and the wooden floor is always a welcomed feature. Beyond the warm welcome, the Hampton Inn & Suites Valdosta Conference Center offers a pet-friendly experience that truly stands out. The inclusive pet policy is a game-changer for us as pet parents, allowing both our cats and dogs to join the adventure. The reasonable pet fee of $75 per stay, covering up to two pets under 75 lbs, shows that the hotel understands that pets are also a part of our family. Furthermore, the hotel is attentive to their furry guests needs by providing pet-friendly amenities like a green area and waste bags for potty breaks.
As for the accommodation itself, we humans were provided with a comfy suite equipped with all sorts of amenities. While we were happy with the size alone, our dog was ecstatic about the big couch in the room. Plus, the hotel also offers other facilities like a pool, a fitness center, free breakfasts, and free parking. When we’re not at the hotel, the strategic location allows us to explore the town and check out nearby places like Barber Park with our dog.

Best Hotel For Cats. Our experience at Drury Inn & Suites Valdosta was exceptional, especially for our pets. The pet-friendly policy, allowing two pets up to 80 lbs for an additional $50 per night, made our stay incredibly convenient. While the hotel warmly welcomes dogs and cats, they also maintain a considerate environment by restricting them from public areas like the lobby, dining area, pool, spa, and fitness center.
That said, we had our cat with us, so the public area restriction didn’t affect us much. We pretty much just kept to our room for most of the time we were in the hotel, which was what our cat preferred anyway. It also helped that the room was cozy and had a direct light coming through, just like our cat wanted. For potty breaks, there was a green area, and waste bags were provided at the front desk.
Other than that, the hotel was just a pleasant place to stay with pets overall. Its strategic location, off I-75, makes it the go-to pet-friendly hotel for pet parents traveling across states. So, the staff is accustomed to furry guests and knows how to keep them happy and comfortable.

The hotel event went the extra mile by providing additional amenities, including a designated grassy area for pet relief.
Furthermore, the helpful staff hooked us up with a newly renovated suite guestroom for our added comfort, which we greatly appreciated. The room was modern and pristine, plus the wooden floor was easy to clean after our pooch. We were also allowed to leave our dog in his crate in the room while we enjoyed the hotel’s free breakfast or headed to the pool.

Comfort Inn and Suites Valdosta truly lived up to its name, providing exceptional comfort during our stay. Their pet-friendly policy made bringing our furry companion a breeze. The staff were quick on their feet and assisted us from the moment we checked in. They informed us all of the important pet policies we needed to follow, from the two pets per room rule to the maximum pet weight of 50 lbs. There was also a pet fee of $25/pet per stay, which we gladly paid in exchange for the high-quality hospitality we were getting.
Furthermore, the hotel’s mindfulness of its furry guests didn’t stop there. The hotel also made sure that we pet parents always kept our pets accompanied in the room and were considerate of other guests’ comfort, too, by not bringing our dog to the dining area. We were totally cool with that since the hotel’s guestroom was plenty comfy for both us and our dog. Plus, the hotel’s sun terrace became our go-to spot to hang out with our pup when we’re not out and about.
Lastly, the hotel offered us some extra amenities like free breakfasts, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool for our added comfort. We did have to take turns enjoying those facilities, but it was a nice addition to our already pleasant experience.

Best Western Plus Valdosta Hotel and Suites is another hotel that impressed us with its popularity amongst pet parents. When we got here, we were met with other happy furry guests since the hotel inclusively welcomes both dogs and cats, and in some cases, even birds.
Furthermore, the hotel’s staff didn’t waste any time to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They smoothly handled our check-in process, made sure to inform us of the hotel’s pet policy, and rewarded our dog with treats for being such a good boy. After paying the pet fee of $20/pet per night and making sure our dog met the weight limit of 80 lbs, we were then escorted to our pet-friendly guestroom. To our convenience, the hotel was considerate enough to put all the pet-friendly rooms on the first and second floors.
That aside, we find our room to have the perfect size and amenities. Our dog was chunky, and we appreciate the extra space in our suite guestroom. Plus, the kitchen area was a nice added amenity. Now, for the cherry on top, the hotel has a designated fenced-in pet park, which our dog loved immensely. While we weren’t allowed to leave our dog unattended in the room, it was no biggy. We’d happily accompanied him to run around and play with the other furry guests at the hotel’s pet park. If that wasn’t great enough, our dog were also given tons of treats by the staff.
