Wailea Beach Resort, Wailea, Hawaii
6
Best for Families. Kicking off this list is the Wailea Beach Resort, which awed us the moment we stepped into the resort. This place quickly became a favorite for several reasons. First, the grand, mostly outdoor lanai with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean greeted us right upon arrival. Now, about the all-inclusive offerings! Here, you can expect tons of water activities and adventures, like introductory scuba lessons and pool aerobics to get your adrenaline pumping. If you prefer land activities, enjoy the arcade games, shuffleboard, billiards, and fitness center with yoga and pilates classes. Even better, families will love the Movie House, which shows family-friendly movies twice a day.
Feeling adventurous? Bike rentals are included, too! However, if you’re more laid-back, the resort fee also covers delicious mai tais and complimentary Wi-Fi to keep you connected. During our stay, we would end each night by gathering around the seaside fire pit while enjoying the smores. But probably our favorite thing about this resort was our oceanfront suite. The views were breathtaking!

Sandpiper Bay All-Inclusive, Port St. Lucie, Florida

Best Activities. The Sandpiper Bay All-Inclusive is a beautiful European-style resort overlooking the St. Lucie River. It was a great location for us to explore Florida’s east coast, with Miami and Orlando both within a few hours’ drive. The resort had tons to keep us busy and happy. We loved to spend hours relaxing by the multiple pools and even took a dip in the ocean at the sandy beach. For some pampering, we treated ourselves to a spa visit. The masseurs’ hands were magic. Plus, the fitness center allowed us to stay active. Who knew we’d try our hand (or should we say, feet?) at circus-style trapeze lessons? They were surprisingly fun, and definitely a highlight of the trip.
Furthermore, the resort also offered complimentary golf and tennis lessons, which we might have tried if we had more time. Make sure to try them if you stay at this resort! When it came to food, we were spoiled for choice. The buffet-style restaurant offered a wide variety, and there was also a riverside grill for something more casual. Finally, our nights were spent in the Junior Suite. It was spotless, comfy, and spacious. To put it in just a word: perfection!

Best Views. Adding The Ritz-Carlton Maui was a must for us. The scenery here was unlike anything else we’d seen on Maui. Lush and towering, we truly appreciated the refreshing breeze. The crowd felt more like a relaxed country club than a bustling hotel, and the service was incredibly gracious and smooth. The resort was spread out and had a low-key vibe, which we loved. It truly felt like a hidden gem, a luxurious escape tucked away on Maui. If you want to stay here and go all out, book one of the suites! They’re not only spacious but also equipped with all the modern conveniences you could wish for.
Every day throughout our stay, beach chairs and umbrellas were set up for us by the pool or on the beach, so we could relax in comfort. We also enjoyed participating in the daily fitness and Hawaiian cultural classes. We learned about wayfinding, hula dancing, and even made our own leis! And thanks to the unlimited access to the Kapalua shuttle, we could easily explore the area, whether we wanted to go shopping, hit the beach, try new restaurants, or even play some tennis or golf.

Most Luxurious. Our stay at Clement Palo Alto was an experience we won’t ever forget. When we stepped into the luxurious lobby, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of personalized comfort. Our suite was breathtaking! It was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, from plush Frette robes to top-of-the-line technology. Seriously, we couldn’t ask for anything better. But that’s not all, as we also loved the all-inclusive food and beverage program. It was a true treat to be able to indulge in delicious California cuisine without worrying about the bill. Whether we were enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the sun-drenched Dining Room, grabbing a healthy snack at the rooftop pool, or ordering room service for a cozy night in, the food was always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
During our stay, we spent many happy hours lounging by the rooftop pool, soaking up the California sunshine and enjoying the stunning views. The fitness center was well-equipped and offered a fantastic view to motivate us during our workouts, too. And if you want to watch the sunset by the outdoor fire pit, don’t forget your cocktail! The Clement Palo Alto’s location is also ideal. The resort is situated within walking distance of a variety of attractions, including Stanford University, the Stanford Shopping Center, and the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve.

Vista Verde Ranch, Clark, Colorado

Best Ranch Vacation. If you’re craving a true Colorado experience, consider Vista Verde Ranch, one of the Travelocity best all inclusive resorts in the US! Tucked away in the beautiful backwoods, the ranch offered us everything for a luxurious escape. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to an all-inclusive experience – delicious meals (think upscale dinners and casual BBQs), all the beverages we desired, and a jam-packed itinerary of activities. We spent our time there doing everything you could imagine. Whether we were horseback riding through stunning scenery, scaling mountains on guided hikes, or trying our luck fly-fishing, there was something for everyone.
Planning to visit Colorado with your loved ones? The ranch also has fantastic programs to keep your kids and teens entertained, giving you some well-deserved relaxation time. On top of that, we loved gathering around the bonfire for lively barn dances and rodeos under the starlit sky. The ranch also offered a convenient shuttle service to and from Steamboat Springs, allowing us to explore the charming town whenever we wanted. Pretty cool, right? To call it a day, we would head back to our cozy log cabin, wrap ourselves in the plush spa robes, and sink our bodies into the comfy bed.

Alila Ventana Big Sur, Big Sur, California

Best Adults-Only. Finally, let’s escape to California’s stunning Big Sur coast! One of the most breathtaking places in the US, the Alila Ventana Big Sure had been a favorite even before it became an all-inclusive haven in 2020. Checking in, we were instantly charmed by the rustic-chic vibe. Our suite, one of 59 rooms on the property, was a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. It had everything we could ask for, from a stocked minibar to a deep soaking tub. Better yet, we could soothe our muscles in the tub while pampering our eyes with the views. Such a dream!
“Everything about this resort screams perfection. You won’t regret spending your nights here.”
WOW Travel
The resort’s all-inclusive package meant we could indulge in delicious meals at The Sur House, their modern American restaurant. The focus was fresh, local ingredients, including produce grown right on the property. Our days were filled with exploring the beauty of Big Sur. We embarked on invigorating hikes, stretched our bodies in the well-equipped wellness studios, and found inner peace during yoga sessions. For an extra dose of pampering, we treated ourselves to a special treatment at the on-site Spa Alila. The Jade Body Ritual, with its combination of basalt stones and Swedish massage techniques, was pure magic – it melted away all our stress! Other amazing amenities include a state-of-the-art gym as well as a clothing-optional pool.
