Best Kids’ Program. Arriving at COMO Parrot Cay, one of the best luxury family resorts in the Caribbean, we immediately got why people talk about it as an escape. It’s on its own private island about an hour from the airport, and once we reached the resort, the size alone impressed us. The beach became our go-to spot. The sand was super soft, and the shallow water made it extra safe and easy for the kids to play.
While we enjoyed some quiet moments, the kids were happily busy with the Play by COMO program. They were busy trying snorkeling, planting coconuts, and generally having a blast. When we wanted to do things together, we kayaked through mangroves, biked around the island, and took a private boat out for swimming and fishing. They even host themed kids’ camps, including one with an actual NASA astronaut.
For families, the beachfront villas and private homes are absolutely the way to go. Having that extra space made our days run so smoothly. Everyone could relax without being on top of each other. Being that close to the beach didn’t hurt either.

Most Intimate. We loved Pine Cay for one big reason: it actually feels private. With only a handful of beachfront rooms and two full miles of beach to spread out on, we never had to worry about crowds at this Turks and Caicos all inclusive family resort. It made our family trip truly enjoyable from the second we arrived, and the kids could run around without us constantly keeping tabs on who else was nearby.
That said, the small Sand Dollar Spa was a nice perk. We’re talking about just two treatment rooms right by the water, which gave us a chance to recharge while the kids hung out on the private beach. Meals were included, which made planning a breeze, and chef Philipe Aubron’s rotating menus kept things interesting. You can also enjoy the afternoon tea, fitness classes, and other activities.
Our favorite day was the boat trip out to snorkel along the nearby reef. It’s complimentary, so you don’t have to worry about any hidden cost, and the crew made it enjoyable for all ages. After a full day on the water, we ended the night at a beach barbecue with a bonfire.

Best Boutique. We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven Resort because it was effortlessly so tranquil. The marina is right next door, so we would watch the boats come and go while the kids were having fun in the pool and on the beach. All we wanted was to have a stress-free and slow-paced family trip, and Blue Haven Resort allowed us to have exactly that.
The resort is on the smaller side with just 45 suites and studios, and we actually loved that! It kept things quiet and manageable. Having the all-inclusive setup made meals super simple, and the three restaurants and bars gave us enough variety that no one got bored. After snorkeling and cruising, we would settle into an easy dinner, often something fresh off the grill.
One of the biggest perks for us was how many excursions left right from the marina. We didn’t have to wrangle the kids into a taxi or shuttle just to get out on the water. We also used the beach service a lot, grabbed treats from the market cafe, and took advantage of the gym, bicycles, and water sports.

Best Beach. Our vacation at Alexandra Resort started with the sand. The beach is huge, clean, and calm. It was great for our kids who just wanted to dig, splash, or run around. We never had trouble finding chairs or shade, and having drinks and snacks just a quick request away made hanging out by the water super easy.
Our suite gave us plenty of space, and the full kitchen came in handy more often than we expected. Best Private Island. Ambergris Cay provides seamless luxury and family-friendly service from the moment you land. The resort handles all transfers, including the thrilling 20-minute flight to the private airstrip, making travel stress-free for parents. The island’s atmosphere is perfectly relaxed, and we never had to worry about anything. Everything felt effortless, personal, and comfortable.
Our Beachfront Bungalow was the perfect family base. We had a private pool right off the deck, which was super convenient, and our kids had a lot of fun thanks to it. While our bungalow was spacious and cozy, we also enjoyed spending time outside. We loved quiet, uncrowded walks on the pristine beach and easy golf cart rides around the property.

Best Activities. What we loved the most about our stay at the Beaches Turks and Caicos? It was none other than the lively energy. It’s like a small city of fun, with a massive 45,000 sq ft Pirate’s Island Waterpark as the beating heart! Our kids were busy heading for the slides, music was playing, and parents were enjoying mojitos. Out on the water, some families were busy with paddleboards.
This is the largest and most activity-rich resort in Turks & Caicos, spanning five distinct “villages” right on Grace Bay Beach. The all-inclusive deal is huge: we had 21 restaurants and 14 bars to choose from. Wow! Certified divers even get unlimited scuba diving included, making it a great choice for those looking for dive resorts in the Caribbean.
The resort truly thinks of everything for families. They offer a kids’ camp with certified nannies, fun Sesame Street encounters, Xbox lounges, and teen-only spots. Accommodations range from simple walk-outs to large multi-bedroom family suites. It’s even expanding with a new wing, Treasure Beach Village, opening in 2026.
