Rosewood Le Guanahani
11
Normally, St. Barth isn’t considered a family destination, but Rosewood Le Guanahani changes that. We loved it because it boasts the island’s only proper kids’ club! That singular feature instantly makes it the best choice for parents who want a chic French Caribbean getaway without losing their minds.
The suites and villas are family-friendly, featuring multiple bedrooms and private pools, so everyone has their own space. The Rosewood Explorers kids club has a dedicated clubhouse and a packed daily schedule. Adults are strictly barred from entry, which we found incredibly effective. The fact that the kids were thrilled and exhausted meant more quality time (and quiet) for us!
Furthermore, the resort’s private peninsula gives us two beaches: one breezier for water sports, and one calm for pure lounging. If you need action, there are tons of activities: paddleboarding, sailing, and diving trips. For exploring, the concierge can book deep-sea fishing or arrange local tours to secluded beaches and galleries, giving us a taste of culture.

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana
10
The Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is set on over 40 oceanfront acres right along beautiful Juanillo Beach. Amenities are everywhere, including a great water park with a lazy river, five slides, and water cannons. With multiple stunning infinity pools and 15 different restaurants and bars to explore, we realized there was always something new to do or try.
This resort offers supervised kids and teens clubs with interactive games, foosball, and VR simulators. For daytime fun, we took advantage of non-motorized water sports and beach volleyball. Dining was a major highlight, ranging from a lighthouse-themed Caribbean seafood spot by the pool to a healthy beachfront eatery and a casual sports bar with pool tables. Evenings ended with family-friendly music and dance performances at the outdoor amphitheater.
The accommodations here are spacious and comfortable. The resort features 375 suites across many categories, all including separate living rooms and private balconies. You can choose between a king or a double bed. For an upgrade, the Club Level offers great perks, like access to an exclusive lounge, a dedicated Club pool, spa service discounts, and late check-out options.

Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa
9
Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa in Montego Bay recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, and it shows. The resort is massive, featuring 5 pools, 10 restaurants, and 17 bars. We appreciated the extensive list of complimentary activities and entertainment included in the stay. Guests can enjoy live reggae, kids’ Olympics, non-motorized water sports, and mini golf.
The main pool is the largest in Jamaica, and it’s a stunning infinity pool overlooking the beachfront. For younger guests, the property includes a dedicated children’s pool with a water park! The resort also offers excellent, supervised childcare facilities: the Baby Club (ages 1-3), the Mini Club (ages 4-12), and the Black & White Junior Club (tweens and teens), allowing us adults maximum relaxation.
Furthermore, the accommodations were significantly upgraded during the renovation. The newly refreshed rooms and suites are expansive, averaging over 700 sq ft, and feature contemporary decor, nautical accents, and private terraces. A key highlight is the hydromassage bathtub available in every room, including ours!

Carlisle Bay

The moment we entered our fabulous suite at Carlisle Bay, we felt instantly at ease. The space was calm, modern, and thoughtfully designed, featuring a big daybed on the balcony and a Gaggia machine for morning coffee. On top of that, the beautiful ocean view was the perfect complement!
As one of the best 5-star luxury resorts in the Caribbean, meals were a high point. Indigo on the Beach offered relaxed grills and seafood, while East provided sleek Asian dishes. Ottimo! was our casual choice for wood-fired pizzas, and The Jetty Grill was ideal for a quiet, adults-only lunch by the water. With three bars, drinks were always convenient.
When not dining or lounging, there was plenty to do. We enjoyed the spa’s amenities and the fitness offerings. We also tried watersports and took a guided rainforest walk from the beach. Families seemed very happy, as the kids’ clubs were busy and well-managed, with ample space for children to explore

COMO Parrot Cay
7
Best Private Island. COMO Parrot Cay is a nice option for those seeking exclusivity. It’s set on a private island just an hour from the airport. The sheer scale of the resort is breathtaking. The vibe is nothing short of luxurious, especially on the beach. The sand is incredibly soft and powdery, and the water is so shallow and calm that it gives the illusion you could walk out for miles. We loved spending hours sinking our toes into the tranquil shore!
For the best experience, you’ll want to stay in one of the beachfront villas, residences, or private houses. They are perfect for larger families, offering the essential space and privacy needed to maintain harmony while traveling. Choosing this tier of accommodation is what truly elevates the experience into a genuine and relaxing retreat for everyone.
The resort also expertly balances adult relaxation with kid entertainment. While we sought zen, the kids were fully occupied with the Play by COMO program, learning things like snorkeling and planting coconuts. For family fun, we enjoyed low-key adventures like kayaking through mangrove forests, biking the island trails, and taking private boat charters for swimming and fishing. They even offer themed kids’ camps, including one featuring a real NASA astronaut.

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive
6
Best All-Inclusive. We loved our trip to Tamarijn Aruba, one of the best all-inclusive luxury family resorts in the Caribbean. It’s a win for families because kids 4-12 stay, play, and eat free! Aside from that, our children also enjoyed the Sea Turtles Club with crafting and games.
While our kids were playing, we enjoyed relaxing on the beach or at one of the five pools. When it was time to play together, we had fun biking, snorkeling, and playing games like pickleball and tennis. Dining was never an issue either, thanks to access to 11 restaurants and 9 bars across the Tamarijn and Divi Aruba properties.
The resort made our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the private balcony or patio in every room for beautiful Caribbean views. Tamarijn successfully balances adult relaxation with non-stop kid fun! Highly recommended for a family getaway.

Eden Roc Cap Cana
5
We enjoyed our stay at the exclusive, gated Eden Roc Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic through and through. This boutique resort in the Caribbean is the quintessential Caribbean family spot, featuring white-sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and lush grounds. The staff gave us a warm welcome, and the area is known for its array of luxury hotels.
The Koko Kids’ Club keeps kids aged 4 to 12 fully engaged with unique activities like kayaking in a private lagoon, snorkeling, video games, and arts. This gave us plenty of time to relax with a cocktail at one of the many on-site restaurants and bars. A great tip: the larger private villas include a private chef, which instantly makes holidaying with children much easier and stress-free.
Beyond the grounds, Eden Roc offers special excursions as well. We could take a helicopter fly-over of the island for unforgettable views, or arrange family encounters with humpback whales or a horseback trek through the rainforest. The resort perfectly balances high-style luxury and relaxation with access to thrilling adventures.

The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman
4
The recent revamp of The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman has successfully solidified its status as one of the top luxury family hotels in the Caribbean. It’s located directly on the stunning Seven Mile Beach, and you’ll find brilliant white sand here. We were particularly impressed with the impeccable beachside personal service. We literally didn’t need to move from our private cabana or sun lounger to get a drink or a snack.
This is a seriously family-friendly resort. Our kids loved the dedicated aqua adventure park, Starfish Cay, which had fun water slide attractions. For the eco-conscious family, the resort offers activities like guided glass-bottom boat expeditions, kayaking, and snorkeling. Younger children also enjoy unique, wholesome programs such as becoming “stingray detectives” and discovering “dinosaurs.”
If you’re a family of food lovers, the dining here is exceptional. The restaurants offer Italian and Caribbean comfort foods, including great pizza and gelato. For something a little more adventurous, there is also a gourmet sushi lounge. Whatever you are in the mood for, it has all your dining needs covered.

Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel
3
Cap Juluca‘s beach is easily one of the most beautiful in the entire Caribbean. It’s truly in a league of its own. When we visited with our kids, the water was perfectly calm and shallow, ideal for small children. Our kids aren’t typically big on swimming, but even they couldn’t resist spending hours in that stunning turquoise sea, which was a pleasant shock.
The resort is excellently set up for families, offering everything from connecting beachfront suites to private pool villas and flexible dining. The breakfast buffet was famous for its dangerously good cakes, which we admit we may have eaten in secret. On top of that, our little angels also enjoyed their time at the kids’ club, and the manager was always around.
Beyond that, the resort offers generous watersports, including motorized options launched right from the shore. The combination of family-friendly luxury and a stunning location made our Cap Juluca experience seamless and unforgettable.

Half Moon
2
Best Diverse Activities. Half Moon is easily one of the most perfect luxury resorts in the Caribbean for families. It’s massive, spread over 400 acres, and immediately feels welcoming and spacious. We were impressed by the exquisitely manicured gardens and the resort’s private, two-mile stretch of pristine beachfront. The size of the estate ensured a relaxed atmosphere, making it easy for us to truly unwind in the beautiful Caribbean setting.
However, the range of activities on offer was what truly made our stay at Half Moon special. For animal lovers, the on-site Equestrian Centre is a highlight. Our younger children enjoyed gentle pony rides, while the older crew went horseback riding directly on the beach. Beyond the center, the resort offers fantastic itinerary experiences, including a journey up into the breathtaking Blue Mountain Range, providing an authentic taste of Jamaica. Best of all, Half Moon is even listed as one of the best tennis resorts in the Caribbean!
For parents seeking dedicated time, this resort makes it easy. The resort’s Children’s Village treats kids like royalty, allowing us to enjoy some much-needed couple time. We took advantage of the opportunity to relax at the spa and get out onto the water for some sailing, completely guilt-free.
“No matter what your definition of fun is, you’ll certainly find it at this hotel.”

Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort
1
Best Kids’ Club. We’ve found the ultimate family getaway spot in the form of Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort! This place offers a luxurious beach experience set within a lush, dramatic rainforest. The twin emerald peaks of St. Lucia, the majestic Pitons, are breathtaking, and the entire resort sits within this UNESCO World Heritage site. We had a lot of fun spending our days relaxing in private beach cabanas, enjoying ice-cold drinks, and indulging in the resort’s famous ice cream sandwiches. Our kids loved them!
This is truly a genuinely family-friendly luxury resort where kids are treated like VIPs. Our children were entertained with exciting watersports like windsurfing and kayaking. They also adored the supervised kids’ clubs: the Sugar Club for kids aged 4 to 12 and the Spice Club for teens.
The accommodation options are incredible, too, whether you’re a smaller family or a larger group. The multi-bedroomed Residences are a luxurious home-away-from-home, featuring gorgeous outdoor spaces and large private infinity pools with direct Piton views. For the ultimate experience, the Beachfront Collection offers spectacular four-bedroom houses right on the sand.
