Secret Harbour Beach Resort

We had an amazing time at Secret Harbour Beach Resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. The apartment-style rooms were exactly what we needed to match our laid-back yet active travel style. With a fully equipped kitchen, we could easily whip up a meal when we felt like it, but there were also so many great dining options on-site, like the Sunset Grille with its delicious American cuisine and unbeatable waterfront views. Not to mention, the resort’s all-inclusive perks like the fitness center, gorgeous pool, and easy access to water sports and the beach gave us tons of things to do!
The location on Nazareth Bay is just what we were looking for. It’s quiet, peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle. It was so easy to unwind while lounging in beach chairs or grabbing a drink at the beach bar. For the days we felt like exploring, Red Hook was only a few minutes away, offering tons of restaurants, nightlife, and excursions to keep us busy.
One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the ease of everything. If we didn’t want to go out, Secret Harbour made it simple to have groceries delivered right to our door, so we could enjoy a cozy night in with a fully stocked kitchen. This place feels like a hidden gem on St. Thomas!
By the way, did you know that Secret Harbour is also named one of the best snorkeling resorts in the Caribbean? Wow!

Buoy Haus Beach Resort St Thomas

The Buoy Haus Beach Resort St Thomas is a great choice for travelers looking for a more intimate experience. This resort boasts only 94 rooms, and our days here are calmer and more personal. Just a few barefoot steps brought us to a sweeping curve of powdery white sand and impossibly clear water. Our beachfront room embraced a breezy, modern Caribbean style. Even better, the resort welcomes pets!
Before the sun set, we always tried to claim a spot by the infinity pool. Private cabanas lined the deck, and the swim-up bar was our favorite perch for a mid-day cocktail. Dining here turned out to be a highlight in its own right. One evening, we savored beautifully prepared local seafood paired with inventive drinks at Isla Blue, the resort’s signature restaurant. For something more laid-back, we could always rely on the beachside grill.
What surprised us was that staying at this boutique retreat also unlocked access to the expansive amenities at The Westin Frenchman’s Reef next door. We could dip into a full schedule of activities, borrow gear for paddleboarding and kayaking, or join a snorkeling excursion right off the coast.

The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas is definitely a bit of a splurge, but it’s worth it. Tucked along Great Bay, the setting alone had us in awe. The resort recently wrapped up a massive renovation, and it shows. Everything was polished but remained tropical. One of our favorite upgrades was the new family-friendly pool, complete with a waterslide. On top of that, the resort has its own catamaran for sunset sails and snorkeling trips.
When it comes to dining, we appreciate having options. There are four restaurants on-site, so we never felt stuck eating the same thing twice. It’s not an all-inclusive resort, but we actually didn’t mind. We booked a rate that included daily breakfast for two, which made mornings enjoyable. If you really want to elevate the experience, the club-level rooms are the move. They come with access to a private lounge that keeps the snacks and drinks flowing throughout the day.
Room-wise, there’s something for every type of traveler — from standard resort-view rooms to sprawling three-bedroom presidential suites. Guests staying on the club level also get a dedicated concierge, which makes the whole experience more personalized.

Lovango Resort and Beach Club

Most Diverse Packages. When we think about standout all-inclusive hotels in US Virgin Islands, Lovango Resort and Beach Club instantly comes to mind. Tucked away on its own private island just off St. John, it feels like a secret you’re lucky enough to be in on. This resort is removed from the cruise-ship crowds and busy beaches. Throughout our stay, we were busy having a tanning session on the beach, hiking scenic island trails, and working out at the open-air jungle gym.
Moreover, the service made us feel genuinely cared for. Every interaction was thoughtful, like the staff truly wanted our stay to be special. And the food was fantastic. We were planning our next meal before we finished the current one. Fresh-caught seafood, vibrant Caribbean flavors, and beautifully presented dishes turned every dinner into an occasion.
What really surprised us, though, was the range of packages. Whether you’re traveling solo, planning a girls’ escape, or dreaming up an intimate wedding, there’s something thoughtfully curated. The solo getaway is packed with perks. Think daily breakfast, beach picnics, yoga sessions, and even a private island excursion. The girls’ trip package follows a similar playbook, perfect for reconnecting in paradise. And if you’ve ever fantasized about a toes-in-the-sand wedding without the jaw-dropping price tag, Lovango might be your answer.

Sand Castle on the Beach
6
What we have here is Sand Castle on the Beach, an LGBTQ-friendly, adults-only resort for the bold, as it boasts a clothing-optional courtyard pool. Even though it’s not a traditional all-inclusive resort, we never felt like we were missing out. Thanks to the complimentary continental breakfasts, welcome drinks, and easy access to snorkel gear and kayaks, we had everything we needed. There’s even a little lending library, which we happily took advantage of.
Adventure is practically built into the stay here. We were busy exploring the water, snorkeling just offshore, and even attending the on-site scuba lessons. We also had the chance to visit Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge and were lucky enough to witness leatherback turtles in their natural habitat.
When hunger called, we didn’t have to wander far. The Beach Side Café spoiled us with indulgent meals and craft cocktails that tasted as good as they looked. Nothing compares to dining with the sound of the waves in the background. If you want an exclusive resort with a cheeky twist, you won’t be disappointed.

The Westin St. John Resort Villas

We felt right at home the moment we arrived at The Westin St. John Resort Villas. Whether you’re traveling with a big group or sneaking away as a couple, the accommodations really flex to fit your vibe. We loved that there are spacious beachfront villas and townhomes, some with up to three bedrooms, so family and friends can spread out comfortably. At the same time, the cozy one-bedroom townhouses are perfect for a romantic escape.
One of our favorite spots was the resort’s private stretch of beach, which is over 1,200 feet of shoreline. We enjoyed paddling around in the calm blue water and spending our spare time taking a dip in the pool. When we needed a break from the sun, the fitness center and spa were calling our names! For food, we were in love with Snorkels Bar & Grill. For beachside lunches and sunset cocktails, this is the place to be. Mango Deli was also great when we wanted to grab pastries or sandwiches on the go.
Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. The Westin makes an ideal home base for exploring St. John. We rented a car and were in the Virgin Islands National Park in about 15 minutes. Cruz Bay, with its shops and ferry access, is right nearby, too. Fantastic!

Carina Bay All-Inclusive Resort & Casino

Best Adults Only. St. Croix isn’t overflowing with all-inclusive options, which is exactly why we were so intrigued by Carina Bay All-Inclusive Resort & Casino. As the only adults-only, all-inclusive resort in St. Croix, it’s a rare find. Set along the quieter eastern shore, the resort gave us the kind of carefree escape we’d been craving. From the second we checked in, everything was covered, from meals and cocktails to activities, so we could truly relax without worrying about the details.
Every morning, we woke to the sound of waves in our Beachfront King Room. We would then brew espresso and step onto our balcony to take in the sea views. The room was bright and breezy, with a plush bed and welcome air conditioning. We also loved to spend our time dippin gin the pool and on the clear, sandy beach, with the occasional round of pickleball or paddleboarding. Of course, no stay at Carina Bay is complete without a visit to the casino.
Dining was just as effortless. Oceans Bar & Grill handled our casual poolside cravings with wraps, burgers, and cold drinks, while Tuscany Ristorante Italiano became our favorite for a more polished dinner with water views. The seafood was fresh, the atmosphere relaxed yet refined, and it felt like a night out.
“With tons to do, an intimate atmosphere, and an all-inclusive setup, your partner will thank you for choosing to stay at Carina Bay!”

Margaritaville Vacation Club
3
Set in St. Thomas, Margaritaville Vacation Club is the perfect choice for travelers who measure time in sunsets instead of schedules. During our three-night stay, we were busy snorkeling in ridiculously clear water, watching fish dart beneath us, and contemplating whether we should try diving or fishing next. And in this kind of setting, the answer is always yes.
What about the food? There’s one main restaurant at this all-inclusive resort, which is Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. It serves up the island classics you’d expect, and the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar was our go-to for frozen drinks that taste even better under a Caribbean sun.
Since we wanted to pamper ourselves, we went for the suite. Options range from cozy studios to spacious two-bedroom layouts, and no matter the size, every unit comes with a kitchenette, outdoor seating, and the real MVP: a Frozen Concoction Maker. We blended our own cocktails and sipped them on the balcony.

The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort

Best Amenities. When it comes to top-notch amenities, it’s hard to beat The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort, even though it’s not 100% all-inclsuive. So, what did we get? First, we had access to three beautiful beaches. We could swim in crystal-clear Caribbean water anytime we wanted without leaving the property! When we weren’t at the beach, we rotated between the two pools or took advantage of the golf course and tennis courts. In fact, The Buccaneer is named one of the best tennis resorts in the Caribbean.
Our Deluxe Room was bright, with Caribbean-inspired décor, a plush king bed, and a private patio overlooking the ocean. The resort offers everything from guest rooms and suites to a beach house for larger groups, which is great for family or friends traveling together. We also made time for a yoga session and a relaxing massage at the spa, and loved using the complimentary kayaks and snorkeling gear for easy, fun adventures right off the shore.
Dining was another highlight. With four restaurants to choose from, we managed to mix things up. Poolside and beachside drinks made afternoons even better, and having breakfast included each morning was a huge bonus. The only downside of our stay was the fact that we didn’t stay longer!

Bolongo Bay Beach Resort

Best Value. Located along St. Thomas’ southern shore, Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is one of the few true all-inclusive hotels in US Virgin Islands. In fact, it pioneered the all-inclusive concept on the island. And yes, it has its own catamaran, so we naturally hopped aboard for a dreamy sail over to neighboring St. John.
Stretching across a long ribbon of golden sand (about 1,000 feet of it), our days mostly revolved around the water. Since snorkeling gear, paddleboards, and kayaks are included, we barely had to plan a thing. The bay is calm and perfect for exploring, and we loved being able to drift from activity to hammock easily. For bigger adventures, the resort can line up everything from scuba diving to parasailing, too. Back on land, Oasis Restaurant & Pool Bar handled all our meals like a pro, from easy breakfasts to tropical cocktail–fueled dinners.
When it came to rooms, we appreciated having options. The Beachfront rooms are about as close to the sand as you can get on St. Thomas, and waking up just steps from the sea felt pretty magical. Ocean View rooms, perched on the upper floors, gave us sweeping views from private balconies that were perfect for morning coffee. Even the more budget-friendly Value rooms still offer a peek at the ocean, though they’re set behind the restaurant.

It’s quieter and less commercial, making it ideal for couples and outdoor enthusiasts seeking tranquility.
Meanwhile, St. Croix blends relaxation with culture and history.
