Home with Pool & Relaxing Spa
11
Best Gay-Friendly. This house has existed for over 100 years, but it has been renovated recently and turned into a modern Airbnb. You can still find the exposed bricks here and there with some modern additions, making this Home with Pool & Relaxing Spa an interesting place to stay. The property has three bedrooms, but we love the one with a king-size bed the most. It’s bright, spacious, and offers much more space for a good night’s sleep.
If you decide to book this Airbnb, make sure not to spend the whole day inside the house. One of the top Airbnbs in Houston, this house is located in the Montrose area. It’s an offbeat neighborhood popular among the LGBTQ+ communities. Have fun exploring the many exciting bars and eateries, which are within easy walking distance.
Also, don’t call it a day if you haven’t had some relaxation in the outdoor swimming pool. We were surprised by the size of the pool and had a lot of fun, thanks to the outdoor sound system. Even better, we were also provided with complimentary pool towels. If you love this place, make sure to also check out these gay-friendly hotels in Houston!

Whether you’re on a short or long-term stay in Houston, staying in Star of the Heights is always a good call. One of its biggest selling points is its location. While we were there, we were only moments away from some of Houston’s greatest restaurants and attractions. It was so convenient, and we could easily navigate and familiarize ourselves with the neighborhood.
The large living area welcomed us once we entered the apartment. We loved to relax on the plush couch while watching some TV show, and when we had the time, we would whip up something in the kitchen. Though the dining area wasn’t the biggest, it did make us feel like we were eating at home.
The modern and minimalist design can also be found in the bedroom. The queen-size bed promises a good night’s sleep, and you can access the bathroom and the laundry room from the bedroom. All in all, we had a great time here, and we’re sure you’ll feel the same way.

A house this big won’t be complete without a kitchen. The one here comes with stainless steel appliances, other extras like a French door fridge, and a dishwasher. Set in the Historic Heights neighborhood, Alexander Guesthouse is another accommodation that’ll make your visit to Houston a lot more memorable. With vaulted 12 ft ceilings in the living room, this house is nothing short of bright and airy. The couch was the perfect place for us to have a quick rest after exploring Houston. Though not that big, the bedroom managed to surprise us with its comfort. The queen-size bed with its lush bedding was a joy to sleep in. Despite its limited space, we still appreciate the addition of the small desk and the chair. Plus, the window is big enough to help natural light enter the room.
That said, the best part of this guesthouse is nothing but its big backyard. It comes with a seating area, plants, and a powered BBQ grill. Also, there’s a fire pit, so you can spend the night making s’mores with your friends. While there are so many great Airbnbs in Houston, this one is truly something else.

Most Comfortable. Among all the best Airbnbs in Houston, we think this Airy, Bohemian Guest House is the most comfortable accommodation. Have you seen the pictures below? The chairs and sofa bed were magically cozy. Along with some books, an hour felt like a minute here.
Perfect for solo travelers or lovebirds, the guest house only has one bedroom. However, it’s a lovely one. We love the addition of the bookshelf and work desk. While there are many spots to hang out on the property, nothing can beat the private outdoor space.
