The vibe is evident the minute you step inside the large lobby, complete with high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers. Nestled right on the Shing Mun River, the Regal Riverside Hotel boasts some of the most amazing views of the Shatin neighborhood that’s chock full of beautiful vegetation. What we loved about the hotel was that it was close to some of the top things to do in Hong Kong. So, it’s an excellent base to explore the city.
The amenities here are excellent, especially the 11 dining options. So, you have a ton of choices when it comes to food, and you won’t even have to leave the property. When you want to cool off, the outdoor swimming pool and a spa beckons, especially since it sits on an open rooftop and overlooks the entire city. Of course, there’s also a sauna and a fitness center too. You’ll love the carpeted rooms here, which are spacious and bright. What’s more, they come with a lot of mod-cons, like minibars, cable TVs, and private luxe bathrooms with bathtubs and bespoke bath products.

If luxury is what you’re looking for, then don’t look any further than the Olympian Hong Kong. This boutique hotel is a standout for its digs, which are “Olympian” in size, so you can spread out and relax. The entire theme is Chinese elements here, with paintings of peonies (good fortune), wooden friezes showing the Chinese character of happiness, and photographs of Old Kowloon. In fact, the ceilings here are much taller than what one will usually find in the city.
