Crowne Plaza Milan City by IHG
11
The first Milan business hotel we want to show you is the Crowne Plaza Milan City by IHG. One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the hotel’s location, which is near Milan Central Railway Station. Yep, we didn’t have to deal with long taxi rides or complicated transfers. On top of that, Sondrio Metro Station is also right next door.
When it comes to the meeting facilities, the Crowne Plaza offers four naturally lit meeting rooms. We had a board meeting with around 20 attendees, and the room was perfectly adequate. The fact that they have a dedicated meetings director to handle all the details was also a welcome bonus.
Furthermore, the hotel’s amenities were exceptional. We made sure to hit the gym, which had a great view of the Milan skyline. As an alternative, you can also take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool. There’s a sauna, too.

Hotel The Square Milano Duomo

Hotel The Square Milano Duomo is one of those hotels that won’t disappoint business travelers. Stepping out of the hotel, we were only two minutes from the metro, which made navigating Milan a breeze. And for those precious moments of downtime, being a short walk from the Duomo and La Scala was a real perk.
The real highlight for our team, however, was the meeting facilities. We held a small workshop, and the meeting rooms were excellent. They were flooded with natural light, and the integrated sound system was perfect. The staff were also incredibly helpful, assisting us with everything from setup to refreshments.
Of course, no business trip is complete without a bit of unwinding. The Roof Milano Bar & Restaurant was our favorite spot for an evening drink and a quick bite. The terrace view was simply stunning – overlooking the Basilica of Sant’Alessandro and the city skyline, all the way to the Alps.

We also had the chance to spend a night at Meliá Milano. For our business trip, the location worked out well. We were able to get to the historic center easily. A quick 15-minute metro ride and we were standing in front of the Duomo. That was a huge plus, as we managed to squeeze in a bit of sightseeing between meetings.
Moreover, the meeting facilities were impressive. We utilized a couple of their rooms, and the technology was top-notch. With 18 rooms, they’re set up for serious events. The catering was also solid, and the staff were very professional. They handled everything smoothly, which is crucial when you’re dealing with tight schedules.
We also appreciated the amenities. The 24-hour gym was well-equipped, and we did manage to unwind in the spa. The whirlpool, sauna, and hammam were a nice feature. We also ended our night with a drink at the lobby bar.

Another hotel that we highly recommend is the Sheraton Diana Majestic. First of all, it has a solid location. This hotel is only a two-minute walk away from Porta Venezia, and its surroundings are full of greenery. The Royal Palace of Milan is also only a short drive away from the hotel.
For our team, the event venues were a key factor. We had a few meetings and a small internal workshop planned. The hotel boasts 9 meeting rooms, and honestly, they were functional and captivating. The dedicated meeting specialist was a huge help, too. They handled everything from the tech setup to the coffee breaks, which allowed us to focus on the actual content of our meetings. Some of the meeting rooms even boast garden views.
What else does the hotel offer? Expect a beautiful private garden lounge, a chic restaurant, and a 24-hour fitness center. It even has seasonal evening cocktail hours. What more could you ask for?

Best Location. The Westin Palace Milan is a mere two-minute walk from the Repubblica metro stop. It’s no secret that Milan traffic can be a beast, and being able to quickly jump onto the metro to get to meetings was invaluable for us. Plus, we were within easy reach of places like Teatro alla Scala and the Duomo. (Psst! Have you read our list of the best hotels in Milan, Italy near Duomo?)
The meeting facilities were a major selling point for us. We were hosting a small client event, and the 14 innovative meeting rooms gave us plenty of options. The rooms were light-filled and adaptable. Additionally, the hotel has interconnecting options and a massive rooftop terrace as well. We ended up using the terrace for a post-meeting reception, and the views were stunning.
What else? The elegant bar was a great spot for a quick drink after a long meeting, and the fitness center allowed us to keep up with our routines. If you want, you can also indulge in the spa treatments.

Mandarin Oriental Milan

What was our first impression of the Mandarin Oriental Milan? We think the perfect way to describe it is “discreet luxury.” Tucked away from the Via Manzoni buzz, it felt like a private residence, which was a welcome change after a long flight.
We were in the city for some meetings with our clients, and the hotel provided us with two meeting spaces, the Taipan and Oriental Rooms. We booked the former, which was more than adequate for us. The view of Via Monte di Pieta added an authentic Milanese touch. Oh, both of the meeting spaces are set on the ground floor.
How did we de-stress during our business trip? Jogging! The hotel boasts a jogging station. What’s more, it offers free towels and water every morning for joggers. We headed to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli for a run and had a lot of fun.

We had several meetings spread across the city, and getting around was a piece of cake. Plus, we were basically only a stone’s throw away from Corso Buenos Aires and the trade fair centers.
Now, for the meeting room. It’s a well-lit space, which is always a plus. The multimedia video projector worked flawlessly, and we could rent a laptop or get technical assistance on demand. Moreover, the 8-seat imperial table created a professional atmosphere, ideal for our small team meeting.
Once we were done with work, we headed to the trendy lounge. It offered us a relaxed atmosphere to catch up on emails and have a drink. We also appreciated the breakfast buffet and its variety of choices.

Milan was a whirlwind, but Starhotels Business Palace made the business part of our trip smooth. The location of this hotel was spot on. We landed at Linate, and it was a quick hop to the hotel. Plus, being near the Rogoredo railway station and the motorway meant getting around, even outside of Milan, was a breeze.
We chose this hotel specifically for its meeting facilities, and they didn’t disappoint. The hotel has 10 meeting rooms, each with up-to-date tech. We even used one of the open-air exhibition spaces for a small product demo, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in setting everything up.

Best Facilities. You simply can’t have a list of the best Milan business hotels without the Excelsior Hotel Gallia. The location? This hotel is only a three-minute walk away from Milano Centrale. After a long flight, that proximity was a blessing for us. Getting to meetings around the city was also straightforward.
Now, let’s get down to business. The meeting facilities here are top-notch. We needed flexibility, and the 12 meeting spaces, including that impressive La Cupola cinema dome, gave us plenty of options. The business center was great, with six workstations always ready. And, of course, the free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was important.
After a long day of meetings, we took advantage of the amenities. As one of the best luxury hotels in Milan, Italy, the hotel has a lot to offer. The Shiseido Spa was probably our favorite. It’s huge, and that heated pool was perfect for relaxation. The 24/7 gym was also a bonus, allowing us to squeeze in a workout whenever our schedule allowed. Don’t forget about the virtual golf, too.

Park Hyatt Milano

Best Overall. Our expectations for Park Hyatt Milano, a 5-star hotel, were high, but the hotel managed to exceed all of them. Overlooking the Galleria, this property is relatively young, dating back to 2003, and it has this timeless quality. We particularly loved the curated art collection, including that striking Anish Kapoor piece.
For our business trip, comfort and efficiency were always at the top of our list. Thankfully, the meeting facilities were excellent. All of the elegant meeting rooms were flooded with natural light, and the tech setup was seamless. The free Wi-Fi was also super fast. You can even rent a laptop from the hotel.
Another highlight of our stay was dining at Vun. Chef Andrea Aprea deserves his reputation; the food was exceptional, refined, and perfectly executed. It’s a great spot for a more formal business dinner. For less formal meetings, head to Mio Bar instead.
