When we think of Caesars, high-octane Las Vegas energy and casinos are the first things that come to mind. However, Caesars Entertainment and its offerings go well beyond the gaming floors, with a surprising number of properties leaning heavily towards calm retreats, spa culture, and wellness. The best Caesars Resorts for a relaxing getaway, which lie both in Sin City and beyond, provide a mix of peaceful pool environments, fitness facilities, hydrotherapy, and an indulgent spa culture. Hence, they were ideal for us as we were looking for more than just nightlife and gambling — we were looking for more of a restorative getaway. Whether it’s nature-infused wellness sanctuaries or the Roman-bath inspired spas (yes!), Caesars has many options where relaxation is integrated into the stay. To that end, here are some standout Caesars Resorts that are particularly well-suited for a wellness-focused and relaxing stay.

Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, New Jersey
6
We begin with the Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, New Jersey. It’s home to the full-service Spa at Harrah’s, which is designed for complete relaxation and rejuvenation. Not only does it offer a wide menu with massages and facials, but it also offers body scrubs and aromatherapy add-ons. What’s more, the spa also had “wet zones”: a fireside Jacuzzi pool, a sauna, and steam rooms. If you’re looking for something more romantic or intimate, there’s even a couple’s suite with a fireplace, a Jacuzzi, and a private shower. So, it was ideal for everyone who is looking for a well-rounded spa experience.
However, what’s most important is that when we book any spa service, we also get access to the stunning and huge glass-dome pool complex at Harrah’s. Located directly across from the spa, we could access this complex on the same day that we had our facial, massage, or any other treatment, enhancing the wellness experience.

Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River, Murphy, North Carolina

A sister property to Harrah’s other Cherokee resort is Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River in North Carolina. It’s home to the Valley River Spa by Mandara, which brought the same wellness ethos, but in a more intimate and compact setting. If you’re looking for something laidback, non-flashy, smaller, and tighter setting.
The 9,600 sq. ft. huge spa features not only 6 treatment rooms, but also plunge pools, hydro-thermal amenities like a steam room and a sauna, and a calming relaxation lounge. What’s more, the spa also offers nature-inspired treatments and full-body therapies. For instance, we loved the Carolina Berry Revitalizing Body Wrap uses local berry essences, ending with a relaxing massage. So, if you’re looking for luxury and wellness but without the huge scale of a mega-resort, this is the best Caesars Resort to be at, as it offers a deeply restful experience in tranquility.

Harrah’s Gulf Coast, Biloxi, Mississippi

Who would have thought of a wellness getaway on the sun-kissed Mississippi Gulf Coast? We’re talking about Harrah’s Gulf Coast, which makes for a relaxing coastal retreat, thanks to the Bellissimo Spa & Salon. This 16,000 sq. ft. spa featured a variety of signature treatments: facials, body wraps, massages, and “water therapy” experiences. If that wasn’t enough, there’s a whole lot to do at the spa after the treatment. Additionally, you can even unwind in their bubbling immersion tubs, eucalyptus steam room, and even a cedar wooden sauna.
If that wasn’t enough, the Harrah’s property even has a resort-style pool deck, complete with poolside service, daybeds, and private cabanas. Moreover, we loved the laid-back, beachy feel that complemented the restorative offerings at the spa. Since this is a Caesars Resort, there’s also a lively 24-hour casino, six restaurants, scheduled live entertainment, and even an 18-hole golf course. That’s why it’s one of the best Caesars Resorts on the waterfront.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

SoCal is the epitome of wellness, with its sun-kissed landscape and laidback vibe. That’s what makes Harrah’s Resort Southern California such a fantastic wellness destination. Nestled in Valley Center, halfway between Laguna Beach and San Diego, this resort blended wellness with buzzing SoCal energy. What’s more, the Spa at Harrah’s, a 11,000 sq. ft. huge space, offered an entire slate of services: think salt baths, body wraps, rejuvenating facials, and customizable massages, among others.
If that wasn’t enough, there are even quick but effective wellness therapies that are shorter, especially for those who are short on time. What’s more, the spa is complemented by a well-equipped fitness center as well as a pool setup, which only elevates the sense of tranquility and calm. Not only is there a pool with private cabanas, but there’s also a lazy river as well as a swim-up bar. All in all, this Harrah’s outpost combines the sun, the water, and the SoCal vibe in a laidback California-style resort environment.

Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, North Carolina
2
We’re absolute fans of Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, which is set among lush hills in Cherokee, western North Carolina. It offers a truly tranquil wellness getaway in the form of the Mandara Spa, an 18,000 sq. ft. Balinese-inspired retreat that integrates Native American healing traditions into its therapies. What’s more, the spa menu is quite unique: it includes treatments that employ Native American herbs and honor local heritage in a thoughtful way.
The spa does excellently in terms of facilities too. Not only did it have two couple suites with large hydrotherapy baths, but it also had creek-side co-ed relaxation lounges, a Jacuzzi pool, and a sauna.
Apart from the spa, the hotel is also home to a buzzing casino, a dazzling nightlife, a bevy of restaurants, and fantastic digs with spectacular views of the mountains around.

Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada

There are multiple reasons why Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip sits at the top of this list, and the chief reason is the relaxing Qua Baths & Spa. Firstly, the iconic and legendary spa, which is spread over 50,000 sq ft, draws inspiration from ancient Roman bathing traditions, emphasizing water’s calming and healing powers.
Secondly, on the inside, there are a whopping 51 treatment rooms, which is the highest number of treatment rooms we’ve ever seen at a hotel spa. These include facial studios, Vichy shower rooms, and even deluxe couple’s studios. Furthermore, even the thermal experience is rich: there is a herbal steam room, a cedar-wood sauna, and multiple Roman baths, complete with different water temperatures. There’s even a unique Arctic Ice Room that would release “snow” at around 55 degrees Fahrenheit for a quick but rejuvenating contrast.
Beyond treatments, we loved the layout of the spa, which promotes social spa time; the shared spaces allowed us to linger, mingle, and relax. Furthermore, the well-equipped fitness center and the American Spa tea lounge ensured a deeply calming experience, contrasting the energy of the Strip.
