Dreamcatcher Inn of Sedona

The Dreamcatcher Inn of Sedona is our go-to motel lodge whenever we want a safe pet-friendly hotel to stay in West Sedona. It is right next to the police post, so we always feel safe staying here and walking around late at night. The best thing about this motel is the spacious rooms with big comfy beds. On our last visit, we got a surprise upgrade to a room with a view where everything was modernized for convenience, including a strong wifi connection. Our room had a fully stocked kitchenette for whipping up meals in the room so we didn’t always have to go out for food. The bathroom was especially classy, with a wide rainfall shower and customizable lights.
We parked for free right outside our room which was an added advantage when packing in. The motel is also located next to the shops near Sundowner Restaurant where we had most of our meals. A fresh juice shop is also a few meters from the motel where we went to load up on snacks for the trails.

If you prefer the tranquility of the Village of Oak Creek and the experience of a spa hotel in Sedona, Arizona, away from the tourist crowds, then Desert Quail Inn Sedona at Bell Rock is a great place to stay. The village is located seven miles from Uptown, so driving back to Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Market as well as other shopping joints in town is still easy. We were drawn into the soul-soothing tranquility of the motel which is right next to Bell Rock, a popular vortex in Sedona. We booked a room on the first floor which had great views of the rock formations and the green forests on the horizon. For the price that we paid, the room was worth it because it was all clean and modernly furnished, including a large comfy bed with soft linens.
The short walk to Bell Rock is tranquil and safe, as we walked there in the evenings. We were also close enough to the shops including a supermarket which is right next door. Red Rock Cafe and a range of local coffee shops are within a two-minute walk from the motel, so we had no issues stocking up on snacks for the trails. We booked a room at the Sedona Hilltop Inn while looking for a boutique hotel/motel in downtown Sedona from where we could reach Red Rock State Park easily. The staff was friendly and had everything in our room set including an extra set of rags for wiping after hiking. Our room had double queens but we still had enough room for three people to move around. The linens were soft and comfy, with fluffy pillows and blackout curtains for a better sleeping experience. We were especially pleased by the love chairs in the viewing area which were spacious and comfy.
We also had a clear view of the Red Rocks from the viewing area. Moreover, the motel offers free parking, with spots right outside the room. The wifi in the room was strong, but the best thing about staying in the room was the large TV with lots of cable channels. We also had unlimited coffee with snacks at the snack bar. The hotel is also a short walk to Tlaquepaque where we went for food and groceries.
