Òverlooking city views, Element Reno Experience District is another hotel close to the airport, but there is no shuttle service offered. However, we took a private car to the hotel, and it didn’t cost us a lot of money. One of the reasons we love this hotel is that it’s in the center between the city’s downtown and the airport. So we could reach both destinations easily. Moreover, the hotel is a perfect option for families. It has a large swimming pool and a wide lounge area for relaxing and sharing talks. Many families love the location and the spacious rooms, as the hotel offers studios in addition to suites and rooms. If swimming is your thing, we’re sure you’ll like the Kasa Archive Hotel. This hotel has one of the best pools with an overwhelming view here in Reno. Further, it’s an outdoor pool, so sunbathing here in summer is pretty much recommended. Location-wise, it’s less than two kilometers away from the airport. They don’t offer any shuttle services to the airport, but transportation here in Reno is easy. So, never worry about reaching the hotel or the airport at any time. Like most good hotels, you’ll get your free toiletries, towels, and home service with any type of room you book. Moreover, the complimentary breakfast satisfied our taste buds. The coffee machine in our room was a beautiful addition, so we could enjoy the mornings in the comfort of our room. Don’t miss passing by the bar to enjoy some of the drinks as well.

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa

Among all Reno-Tahoe International Airport Hotels, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is the most luxurious option we could find. For the location, the hotel is a minute’s drive from the airport. You can use the hotel’s free shuttle service if you don’t want to take a taxi or rent a car. No wonder it’s a free service, as the hotel does everything to serve the guests and offer an unforgettable stay. Speaking of comfort and serving the guests, the hotel has a wonderful spa center to relax your sore muscles after a long, tiring flight. For the best experience, we recommend trying the outdoor pool first, and once you’re done, head directly to the spa and get a little massage there. Further, we didn’t forget to take our meal at the Atlantis Steakhouse restaurant on site. It’s an all-in-one experience.

Victorian Inn

Coming to the next option, the Victorian Inn is one of the best cheap hotels in Reno. It’s a very simple inn with simple rooms that include more than what we really needed during our stay. The rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee machine. You’ll also get clean towels every day or whenever needed. So, we believe it’s a good option to save money while still enjoying the beauty of Reno and its close location to the airport.
Simple as it is, we believe you won’t be looking forward to leaving the hotel. Staying here gave us a home-like experience. Though the rooms are simply furnished and decorated, they’re super comfy and do the job. There is also free private parking for the inn guests. And the best part is that it’s close to Victorian Square, where we could take different transportation means to reach our destinations in Reno.

Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa
6
Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa isn’t the closest hotel to the airport, yet, it’s still considered one of the best hotels near Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Since Reno isn’t a large city, the downtown area is near the airport. It’s about three kilometers from the hotel to the airport, so we could still catch early flights while staying in this hotel.
Apart from the location, there are other reasons to choose this hotel. The views were magnificent from our room overlooking the Truckee River and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Moreover, we enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. We missed such a facility in many hotels here, as most have indoor swimming pools. Further, we could have a couple of meals and snacks inside the hotel. There is a restaurant and a bar that serves good food and drinks. Our accommodation couldn’t be better, so it all compensated for the non-availability of an airport shuttle service.
“Finally we found a modern hotel with magnifcient views and great service at Reno. Surprisngly, the food is also above expectations.”

We chose this hotel among other Reno-Tahoe International Airport hotels for our one-night stay because booking, check-in, and reaching the hotel via their shuttle service couldn’t be easier. This could be the most convenient accommodation we have ever had.
In our free time, we still had something to do inside the hotel. Whether it’s socializing in the common lounge area or relaxing in our spacious suite. There is also a good fitness center to drain some energy before leaving the hotel. Best of all, the hotel is affordable compared to similar nearby hotels. Best value for money. Next, we stayed in Courtyard by Marriott Reno. Now, there are two hotel branches in Reno, one in the downtown area and the other closer to the airport. This three-star hotel has a more convenient location, so it was our choice. Promising an exceptional stay, the hotel offers clean, wide, and comfy rooms at a suitable rate. The lounge area and the outdoor area are cozy and inviting as well.
Although there is no complimentary breakfast with the stay, the hotel has an on-site restaurant that serves nice hot dishes for breakfast. Further, the drinks are a good way to refresh in the middle of the day. We had a couple of hot and cold drinks during our stay. Starbucks is on-site as well if you’re more into frappe and signature drinks from Starbucks. Time to take a nap or sleep? The rooms are super comfy and relaxing, and the white color offers much serenity that helps for long night sleep stretches.

Also, the surrounding gardens added to the lovely scenery. Speaking of it, our room had a nice view of these gardens. We could stay there forever. Best overall. Aloft by Marriott is the best option for staying near the airport in Reno. Or actually, staying inside the airport itself as we didn’t leave the airport to reach the hotel. Moreover, we didn’t need an Uber or a taxi because the hotel offers free airport shuttle services around the clock. Saving time couldn’t be better! Staying in the hotel was entertaining between the bar, fitness center, and billiards area. However, if you have extra time, don’t miss the various museums in Nevada and Reno’s city center as well.
