Convenient location for an enjoyable stay
Let’s get to know this hostel with its location. While not exactly in the center of it all, OQP Vacations is surely strategically positioned near some of Miami’s must-visits. Staying at this hostel placed us within walking distance of cultural hotspots like the Adrienne Arsht Center. Walk a little bit further and you’ll find yourself in Wynwood. Do you drive? Perfect! The hostel is just a short drive from iconic Miami landmarks like Bayside Marketplace and Kaseya Center.
Are you a beachgoer? Well, while the beach isn’t directly accessible on foot, its proximity to public transport makes exploring South Beach a breeze. During our stay, we also had the chance to explore some of the top bars and restaurants in the vicinity. They’re not a stone’s throw away, so if you want, you should check them out before heading back to the hostel.

All the basic amenities you’ll ever need
Like other hostels in Miami Downtown, the beauty of this hostel lies in its priority for social interaction. Throughout our stay, we were showered with smiles from both the staff members and other fellow travelers. With a shared lounge, BBQ area, and sun terrace, there’s always a spot to unwind and meet other explorers. Oh, there’s a shared kitchen, too. Since we couldn’t find any restaurant within a three-minute walk, we decided to whip up some yummy omelets for breakfast. You can also keep your groceries in the kitchen. Pretty convenient, right?
Another thing worth mentioning is the freebies. The hostel’s free Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast and we were always able to stream YouTube videos on the highest setting smoothly. On-site parking is free, too! That said, among all of the amenities, we enjoyed the garden the most. It gave us a tranquil escape from the city buzz whenever we needed some alone time.

Small but cozy dormitory rooms await
Now, you might be wondering about the rooms. At this hostel, you can find 6 to 8-bed mixed dormitory rooms as well as an Economy Triple Room. For budget travelers, there’s no better choice than the dormitories. To be brutally honest with you, there’s nothing fancy about them. Each comes with basic amenities like bed linens and air conditioning. They’re not big, either. However, if you only need a comfy bed to rest your tired body after exploring all the hidden gems Miami has to offer, I think this is a good deal.
For some privacy, you should consider the Economy Triple Room. It features higher-quality beds, a carpeted floor, as well as a flat-screen TV. We think this would be a great option for two best friends trying to have a taste of Miami without breaking their wallets. It may be a bit costly, but for the extra privacy, it sure is worth considering.

A+ for cleanliness
When it comes to hostel cleanliness, it’s almost normal for travelers to lower their expectations. But with this hostel, you don’t have to do that. From the moment we stepped inside to the moment we checked out, we never felt uncomfortable. Every corner was clean and well-maintained. Even the shared bathroom – usually a dreaded battleground – was a gleaming haven. No mildew clung to the tiles, no mysterious strains lurked in the corners. Plus, the aroma of disinfectant hinted at meticulous cleaning routines. Hot water, a luxury often missing in hostels, flowed readily, washing away the dust of the road and leaving us feeling invigorated.
“Even though we were staying in a hostel, we always prioritized hygiene. Lucky for us, OQP was everything we could’ve wished for. God bless the staff who kept the property clean throughout our stay!”

Who is it for?
So, is Miami OQP Vacations for you? If “budget-friendly”, “social scene”, and “convenient location” are your travel mantras, then you’ll want to stay at this hostel. Think backpacker chic, not a five-star luxury. This isn’t the place where you’ll find marble countertops and plush robes. But what it lacks in swankiness, it more than makes up for in its welcoming atmosphere and prime location. Imagine bunk beds with clean sheets, shared bathrooms that don’t scar you for life, and a communal space humming with conversations from around the globe. It’s the perfect place for making new friends, swapping travel tales, and hatching spontaneous adventures.
