Drury Inn and Suites Atlanta Airport

Adjacent to the airport, the Drury Inn and Suites Atlanta Airport isn’t just one of the best hotels near Atlanta Airport with a shuttle. It’s also one of the best Atlanta, GA, pet-friendly hotels! This is the perfect accommodation for pet owners who need to catch a super early flight. Both cats and dogs are accepted here, and you can bring up to two pets with you. Combined, their weight shouldn’t be over 80 USD. We stayed here for a night, and we ended up paying 50 USD (excluding tax) per night for our pet.
This isn’t the most modern or premium hotel in the city. However, we do think it’s one of the comfiest. Our room was clean, big, and equipped with standard in-room amenities. We were allowed to leave our dogs in the room as long as they didn’t make much noise. Thankfully, they’re well-trained! Also, there’s a green space on-site, so you don’t have to go far whenever your pet wants to do its thing.

We truly can’t say enough good things about La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Ballpark/Galleria. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were welcomed with smiles. Every staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. There were two dogs with us, and the front desk staff told us the hotel accepts pets of any size, which is certainly a huge plus for pet owners. Also, we only had to pay an additional fee of 25 USD per night, which was affordable since we only stayed for a night.
This is one of the more inclusive hotels on this list, as it welcomes cats, too. However, for everyone’s comfort, pets aren’t allowed to be left alone in the room. Some of you might be bummed by this, but we assure you this won’t be a problem as the hotel boasts several grassy areas on-site. You can unwind together with your pooch and let it do its business there. Oh, waste bags are provided as well.

Most Luxurious. Looking for luxurious hotels in Atlanta? Take a look at The Grand Hyatt Atlanta! We were glad we decided to spoil ourselves and our dogs at this hotel. It offered our Chihuahuas tons of thoughtful amenities, from hypoallergenic beds to bowls and treats. We were also genuinely surprised by the in-room dining menu for our dogs. To enjoy a luxurious stay like that, we had to pay an additional pet fee of 100 USD per stay of up to 5 nights. That’s a great deal considering we’re staying at The Grand Hyatt.
If your pet weighs no more than 75 lbs, you can bring it to your room and enjoy the comfort together. In addition to the spacious room, there’s also a pet relief area on-site. Our doggies were so excited to go for a run, and we appreciated that the hotel provided us with that. And if you want to take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or spend some time at the coffee shop, you can leave your pet in the room.

You simply can’t go wrong by staying at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta. This hotel had everything we needed and more. First, let’s talk about its pet policy! This hotel welcomes two dogs up to 50 lbs, and pet owners have to pay an extra fee of 50 USD per stay. However, you should make sure that your dog is well-behaved, as aggressive ones and cats aren’t allowed on the property. Guests with pets are assigned rooms on the lower levels, and we chose the one on the first floor so we could access the designated pet relief area with ease.
Moreover, this hotel is pretty strict about its policy. You should remember not to leave your pet alone in the room as you’ll be fined if that happens. Thankfully, there was no reason to leave our pets behind. The grassy area at this hotel is decent in size, and the staff members were kind and helpful enough to give us some recommendations on where to take our pets. They even gave our dogs treats and bowls.

Throughout our stay, we loved everything about the Hyatt House Atlanta Cobb Galleria. It allowed us to fully enjoy our trip with our furry companions without thinking about the small stuff. Yes, this hotel requires you to pay a certain amount of money so you can sleep with your canine, but it’s totally worth it. It welcomes two dogs (sorry, not cats) under 40 lbs for a pet fee of 75 USD per pet for the entire stay. However, if you want to stay for eight nights or more, the fee becomes 175 USD.
After finishing the transaction, the staff gave our dogs some treats. We were super happy when they told us we could always get them for free at the front desk. Such a big plus! Also, there’s a grassy area on-site, and you don’t have to bring your waste bags as they’re also provided. Once our dogs’ energies were gone and they wanted to rest, we left them in the room, and it was time for us to explore the hotel’s amenities, like its indoor pool and gym.

La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Midtown – Buckhead

Only a short drive away from everything Buckhead has to offer, La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Midtown – Buckhead is another hotel you should consider. Though not a premium hotel, it did its best to make sure our stay with our pets was a comfortable one. At first, we thought this hotel didn’t have any pet fees, but it turned out we had to pay 25 USD for each pet per night. No biggie since the cost isn’t that expensive. The good thing is that cats are permitted on the property, and we even saw some owners with their cats in the crates during check-in.
Since there are so many things to explore around the hotel, it’s normal if you’re itching to leave the hotel and enjoy the neighborhood all day long. However, the big question is, what about your pet? Luckily, this hotel allows you to leave your pet in the room as long as it’s crated. Also, you don’t have to go too far to look for a pet relief area, as the hotel has one.

Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown is a lovely lodging that was much more enjoyable than we thought. Yes, some people may think the rooms here, including the pet-friendly ones, are small. However, it wasn’t a problem for us since we were allowed to leave our pets in the room. So, we never really spent much time there anyway. Plus, with a pet relief area behind the hotel, our pets also spent most of their time outdoors.
One of the things we applaud the most about this Atlanta boutique hotel is that it accepts both cats and dogs. In addition to that, it doesn’t have any weight restrictions for pets. There’s an additional fee that pet owners have to pay, though, which is 25 USD for each pet per night. Oh, we also paid a refundable deposit of 150 USD. Considering the service from the staff and the hotel’s location, we highly recommend staying here.

Best Pet Amenities. Loews hotels are known to be pet-friendly, which was why when we were in Atlanta, we decided to book a room at Loews Atlanta Hotel. Like many other hotels, this one welcomes two pets on its property regardless of their size. Our dogs are Chihuahuas, so it wasn’t a problem regardless. What’s more, aside from doggies, cats are also welcome on board. Talk about inclusivity! Oh, and there was also a pet fee that we had to pay, which cost us 75 USD per stay. It wasn’t pricey at all, considering we received dog treats, bowls, waste bags, and food mats.
Who says you can’t have fun when traveling with your furry friends? This hotel knows that pet owners need to be pampered, too, which is why it allows crated pets to be left in the room. Of course, we had to take advantage of that policy. We decided to have a quick workout at the in-house gym and relax at the spa center. Then, we would take our dogs to the green area adjacent to the hotel, where they would do their business. By the way, this hotel is also featured on our list of the best family hotels in Atlanta, so make sure to read it!

We were glad we decided to spend a night at Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta. Once we walked into the lobby, our Chihuahuas were spoiled with water and treats. This hotel accepts two dogs on its property, and it doesn’t have any weight restrictions or pet fees, which is good. Also, the pet-friendly rooms are the ones on the 3rd and 9th floors. We decided to stay at the one on the 3rd floor so we could access the on-site relief area more easily.
Our pet-friendly room was big and immaculately clean. There was so much space for us, our dogs, and their dog beds and bowls, which were given by the hotel. However, you should note that pets aren’t permitted to be left alone in the room. Luckily, the staff members were more than happy to let us know the pet-friendly spots near the hotel.

Best Location. The Aloft Atlanta Downtown was what we needed for a memorable stay in the city with our furry ones. Set in Downtown Atlanta, the location of this hotel can’t be any better. Some of the city’s most pet-friendly spots are easily within the hotel’s vicinity. In addition to that, every staff member we met was more than friendly. They assisted us with everything we needed, and they even told us where to bring our dogs to keep them busy.
When it comes to the policy, this cheap hotel in Atlanta welcomes two pets on its property. Are you a cat owner? Fret not, as cats are also allowed on the property. Additionally, it doesn’t have any size or weight restrictions, meaning any kind of breed can stay at the hotel. There’s an extra fee, though, which costs you 50 USD per night. However, we think it’s worth the price considering the hotel’s service and the fact that it provides your pet with treats and bowls.

Best Overall. Yes, there are so many pet-friendly hotels in Atlanta, GA. However, we can’t think of any better hotel to top this list than Kimpton – Sylvan Hotel. We’ve stayed here with our dogs, and let us tell you, the experience there was unmatched. Unlike many other hotels, this one allowed our Chihuahuas to stay with us with no extra pet fee. That’s not all! It also doesn’t have any limit when it comes to your pet’s weight and how many pets you can bring. Cats are also allowed. This hotel may sound too good to be true, but it’s genuinely that good!
“The right word to describe this hotel is “perfect”. The hotel provided our dogs with not only beds but also food, mats, and bowls. And we didn’t have to pay any pet fee.”
WOW Travel
Once we arrived at the hotel, the staff members offered our dogs some treats. They also gave us our pets’ essentials as well as a door hanger so we could let the housekeepers know that there were pets inside. The hotel itself is such a nice hotel, and there were so many things to explore. So, when our dogs were busy playing with their toys, we decided to take a dip in the outdoor pool and go to the bar to have a drink or maybe two.
