Best Staff. The Cove Spring House is one of the most magnificent villas you can find. Set in the Garden of Barbados and overlooking Alleyne’s Bay, this property features an open-plan living area with a high-end interior design. When we first arrived, we were awed by the beautiful artwork adorning the walls and haute-couture furniture. They blend in seamlessly with the backdrop of local coral building stone. One of the main highlights of this beautiful villa is its stunning ocean views. During our spare time, we would enjoy the ethereal views from the terrace.

Furthermore, we also love relaxing by the pool. Though not the biggest, the half-moon pool is certainly a nice addition. Additionally, there’s also a hot tub. Of course, we didn’t forget to head down to the private beach either. The best thing was that we didn’t have to bring our beach towels as the villa already provided us with some. Pretty thoughtful, right? Full spa treatments and a state-of-the-art home gym are available for your convenience.

When it was time to feast, the chef would offer us delicious menus that never failed to smack our tongues. Just mention what you want and the chef will do its magic. Aside from the chef, there are also waiters and butlers. When it comes to the bedroom configuration, there are 10 on the property. What’s surprising is that each of them comes with an en-suite bathroom and has access to the outdoor area.

Best Beach Villa. Proudly overlooking Cove Beach on the Platinum West Coast is Crystal Springs, one of the most popular villas in the country. One of the main reasons why this villa is beloved by many is because of its unmatched location. From the outdoor lounge area, there were steps that led us to the beach. This majestic villa was built back in the 1960s, and it was restored in 2014. Since then, it has been a favorite among travelers. With over 12,000 square feet of living space, this accommodation provided us with an intimate retreat. Since it can house up to 20 travelers, we think it’s a nice choice for large groups. Aside from that, all 14 members of the staff made sure we had an enjoyable stay.

One of the main reasons we recommend this to those who want to rent a villa in Barbados is that it has plenty of living areas. They’re excellent for evening gatherings and entertaining. Aside from that, you’ll also have not one but three outdoor patios, which are perfect for al fresco dining. There’s nothing better than enjoying your mouthwatering dishes with breathtaking sea views. Another highlight worth mentioning is the heated infinity pool that stretches out to the Caribbean Ocean. Finally, there’s also a cinema room and a modern fitness center on-site!

Westhaven

Most Comfortable. Located in St. Peter, Westhaven is a two-story beachfront villa that pleased everyone in our group. We were able to have the ultimate relaxation thanks to its tropical landscaped gardens and private patio. Whenever we wanted to be active, we would spend the day snorkeling and trying out other water sports. Better yet, the staff members were more than friendly and they were always ready to attend to our every need.

One of our favorite facilities is the shimmering pool, surrounded by loungers and a dining nook. Prefer having fun on the beach? Perfect! That’s because there’s also direct access to Gibbs Beach and its serene waters. Or, you can also take a romantic stroll with your loved one to Mullins Beach. If venturing out isn’t on your to-do list, we highly recommend relaxing in the living room on the ground floor. It comes with a big 42″ flat-screen TV, DVD player, and comfy seating area.

We’re also fans of the fully equipped kitchen, which boasts big windows that open outwards to the dining area. Even better, the chef prepared us three meals a day, so we never had to spend a day with an empty stomach. Meanwhile, all four bedrooms have outdoor patios, air conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms. Three of them are on the first floor, and one is set on the ground floor. It doesn’t matter which one you choose as all of them are equally comfy.

Atelier House

Best Design. While there are many amazing villas in Barbados to rent, no one can deny how beautiful and amazing Atelier House is. As one of the most well-known villas, we surely didn’t regret spending our time there. This stunning Caribbean retreat offered us not just the dramatic views of the ocean but also top-notch hospitality that can’t be found elsewhere. We’re not surprised if some people think this is one of the top luxury vacation rentals in the Caribbean.

Surrounded by indigenous palms, lilies, and flowering shrubs, this villa is a nice option for a group of eight. Four spacious bedrooms are on-site, each of which is fitted with modern amenities. Our favorite is the upstairs master suite, with a glazed balcony with views over the sea and an outdoor terrace, which is perfect for relaxing. Meanwhile, the en-suite bathroom boasts separate bath and shower facilities. The other three bedrooms are nothing short of impressive. They’re bright and comfy on the ground floor, and two have an en-suite bathroom.

Whatever we needed, this villa provided. We often chillaxed in one of the ground-level terraces and took a relaxing dip in the private pool. We’re sure you’ll love spending your time in the pool area. Imagine taking a swim and admiring the breathtaking views! Aside from that, there’s also a huge roof terrace and mezzanine-level study that offers Insta-worthy views of the West Coast.

Godings Beach House

Best Facilities. Conveniently located south of Speightstown, Godings Beach House is another property that’ll make your trip more delightful. This villa allowed us to have a peaceful stay. Contemporary and chic, this beachfront property gave us easy access to the beach and the sea. We were truly thankful for that. With over 13,500 square feet of living space, we also had plenty of spots to relax when we didn’t want to head out.

This villa is simply gorgeous. Think leather sofas, Italian marble, and unique artworks. The huge living area is the perfect spot for family gatherings, and when the weather allows, make a splash into the infinity pool. Furthermore, this villa can house 10 people. There are five bedrooms on the property, and each of them is stunning and faces the sea, offering you breathtaking views. Better yet, they all feature a big king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom, and access to the private terrace. Want to burn some calories? Feel free to work up a sweat in the modern gym. Then, whip up your go-to meal in the fully equipped kitchen before finishing your work in the fronted glass office.

Best Overall. Those who want to rent a nice villa in the beautiful country of Barbados should definitely consider booking Footprints House. Though it’s one of the newer villas, it sure didn’t let us down. This contemporary accommodation is set directly on Alleynes Bay. Thanks to its convenient location, we were able to have a peaceful morning stroll on the beach. Get ready to be mesmerized by the white sands and turquoise waters! Apart from that, foodies will also be thrilled as it’s only a short walk away from some popular restaurants.

Aside from its location, we also fancy the villa itself. The interior is all-white, making every spot feels clean and homey. Not to mention, it’s beautifully designed with glass walls, allowing you to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding. While we were there, we also made sure to take advantage of the refreshing infinity pool. We would take a dip as we waited for the chef to cook our dishes.

Though not as big as other villas, all of the five bedrooms here are still spacious. While each of them feels extremely luxurious, the master bedroom has to be the MVP. It comes with an exceptionally huge terrace and an outdoor bath. Relaxing in a hot tub with a glass of wine in your hand while you’re enjoying the sunset won’t be just a dream anymore.
