Best Location. This cliffside home is one of the best villas in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. High above the sea, Hidden Bay by the Sea is a nice option for a group of 12 looking for a stunning place to call home. Set in the heart of the historic town of Runaway Bay, there are so many things to see and explore. There are plenty of clubs and restaurants. We also love exploring the nearby supermarkets and searching for local products that can’t be found elsewhere!
As stated on Hidden Bay’s official website, this villa is a treasure. The main house has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. All the bedrooms feature air conditioning, a ceiling fan, an iPod dock, and a private bathroom, all equal in size! Our favorite spot in the main house is the wrap-around verandah. Step out of it, and you’ll find a freshwater pool, terrace, and grassy lawn. During our stay, we loved relaxing on the sun lounger whenever we had the chance to admire the views of the sparkling sea!
Apart from the main house, there’s also a cottage, which consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a verandah, and a jacuzzi. Again, both bedrooms have quiet air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and other amenities the main house’s rooms offer. If you want to whip up something for yourself but have no ingredients, know that groceries can be ordered and delivered to you from the local grocery store. However, unlike some villas, you should note that this place doesn’t allow weddings or events.

A Summer Place on the Beach

Best Facilities. Including A Summer Place on the Beach on this list is a must! Nestled on its beach by the blue waters of Discovery Bay, this spacious family home has manicured garden with hibiscus, sea grape, almond, and ginger lilies. There’s also a huge side yard, perfect for kids to play and have fun. We loved taking a dip in the outdoor swimming pool during our spare time. It was really refreshing! The pool is also surrounded by loungers and accessed from the main living area.
This villa has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms and can sleep up to 14 guests. Six of the bedrooms can be found in the main house, all with free linens and air-conditioning. You can find the seventh bedroom in the converted garage. The best one is none other than the Master Bedroom! The four-poster bed is to die for, and there’s a separate hot tub as well as a private balcony with beautiful sea views, too.
Our favorite part of this villa is its veranda draped with Thunbergia blossoms. This breezy veranda is where you can lift your legs and read your favorite novel, play games, or take a quick nap. With direct access to the beach, we were also offered free snorkeling equipment and sea kayaks! After a fun-filled day, the chef would cook a hearty meal that left us wanting more. You can enjoy the food on the terrace or dining area. On special occasions, dinner is served in the pool gazebo.

During our stay, we could enjoy the breathtaking views of the resort town’s nature from the villa! And considering its location, we also think this villa is the perfect option for those who fancy outdoor activities.
Considering everything this villa has to offer, it’s not surprising that it’s seen as one of the best accommodation options in the area. Here, you can have a friendly competition with your friends on the private tennis court, take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool, and enjoy the white sand. Want to keep your body fit? Feel free to work up a sweat in the state-of-the-art fitness center! Meanwhile, the over-the-water gazebo provides a 270-degree view of the mountains, bay, and the Caribbean Sea.
There are many factors to consider when you’re renting villas in Jamaica. But if spa services are a must, you’ll love this place. That’s because spa specialists are available on-call. Luckily, we had the chance to enjoy the treatments in the garden. You can also have your treatment in the comfort of your bedroom or on the balcony. Moreover, you can enjoy your meal cooked by a professional chef on the verandah or gazebo that overlooks the lawn, garden, pool, and bay. Want to make your meal? Sure, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, and everything you need. This property boasts a series of spacious pavilions, perfect for families and large groups of BFFs. Meanwhile, water gardens and bridges separate the comfy and airy living spaces.
Inside the 600-square-foot main pavilion, there are three spacious bedrooms with direct access to a private outdoor area. Also, all rooms are air-conditioned and you can find standards like cable TVs and charming artwork.

Additionally, this villa is fully staffed, meaning you can get any help anytime you want. Oh, we also love the formal dining room. Featuring a beautiful chandelier and mesmerizing ocean views, we didn’t feel like leaving the dining room even after we were done eating. This waterfront villa truly has everything you need and more. It shares a waterfront site with its sister property, the Coral Cove Villa, allowing you to enjoy the clear waters of Discovery Bay. Speaking of its location, Puerto Seco Beach is nearby. It took us only 10 minutes away to get there on foot. It’s a popular water park and beach club where you can go scuba diving, paddle boarding, and enjoy the sun with your favorite drink!
Sitting on a large lawn, this villa boasts an outdoor swimming pool that allows you to enjoy the sun and water at the same time. Apart from the pool, this villa also offers a white sand beach with two thatched roof umbrellas for shade. When it comes to the interior, everything is designed to give you unmatched comfort. If you and your group rent this villa and Coral Cove, all of you can dine together! But if two different groups are in residence, meals will be served at each of the villa’s open-air patios.
In addition, you can also enjoy your food at the picnic table at the beach, which is super romantic. Better yet, the chefs will plan torchlight beach parties with some of your favorite food, including chicken, steaks, lobsters, and more. Set right next to the sea in Runaway Bay, and this is a 6,000-square-foot private home with a gigantic lawn and beach. The interiors at this property are brightly furnished, making your stay super enjoyable. You can expect colorful hibiscus, shrimp flower, banana trees, and more on the lawn.
Beyond the lawn, there’s a 10,000-square-foot beach. Though not a private beach, we highly recommend spending your time there. We had a lot of fun at the beach, especially because the villa offers complimentary sea kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment. Apart from that, this villa also comes with a games room, including a pool table, poker table, table tennis, darts, and more! We’re sure you and your kids will love this facility.
